I’m in love with this place . View and service are wonderful.
4.5
Views, private pool area
Remote and difficult to get to other local amenities, hotel offerings significantly overpriced

Great view and great service
would loved even more if the pools were heated. We couldn't use it due to the cold weather.

The best service was from the golf cart guy. He was always very friendly and more than happy to give you a ride down the steep winding paths to your room so that you wouldn't slip and fall on wet stairs or hit your head in the tunnels.
We paid for the Luxury Suite. We were SO excited to be in Greece that we didn’t realize they gave us the Superior Deluxe instead. The floor plans are open, so we thought it was a suite. When we compared pics from our vacation with pics from the website it was easy to see we definitely did NOT get the suite. They cheated us out of 500 EUR. Should we have noticed? Yes. Should they have switched rooms on us? No.
The first night we had dinner at the Cabo Rosso, which is the hotel’s restaurant. My favorite cocktail is the caipirinha. I order these all the time at Brazilian steakhouse, so I know what they should taste like. This one tasted like methanol. I told the waiter there was something very wrong with the drink and sent it back. The waiter didn’t offer another drink. The waiter didn’t even offer to take the drink off the bill.
They wouldn’t leave the bill on the table. They stood there staring, waiting for us to sign. This is VERY rude behavior to stand there while you check the math and decide on the tip. I politely asked several times to give us time and space to review the bill. It felt very intimidating the way he was standing so close, towering over me.
We are halfway to our room, when someone comes yelling at us saying we did not pay the bill. He was very threatening. I proved to him that I did in fact pay for the bill by showing him the pic of the signed receipt. He didn’t even apologize. He just turned around and walked away. That aggressive behavior was TOTALLY unacceptable.
The private pool and main pool are not heated (despite what they tell you). They were freezing! The enormous bathtubs look amazing for couples to take a bath. And they would be if there was enough water pressure to fill them fast enough before the water got cold, so we only took showers.
You can get even BETTER views of the volcano from hotels in Fira. You will be right next to great shopping and LOTS of wonderful restaurants. Why settle for a 3-star experience in a poor location?
5.0
The views and inclusiveness of the location.
The floors were very slippery in the shower areas and that no wash cloths were supplied.

Everyone and everything at this property is exquisite. From the moment we checked in through the moment we checked out we were treated like royalty. This is not any type of exaggeration. The property itself is breathtaking, with views to sunset from every angle. The pool main infinity pool is incredible and the pool in our private suite was even better. I cannot list everything in this text to explain how wonderful our visit was. But our suite was enormous and stocked with more than anything we could need. the food is DELICIOUS. We checked out yesterday and I’m so sad we left. our new hotel in Mykonos is sadly no match for the Ambassador.
there was nothing not to like.

The staff!! Amazing people, so kind, played with our little daughter all the time and made her laugh.
Upgraded us to a bigger room which was fantastic. The restaurant and breakfast was amazing
The place can go through a little renovation but considering the price it’s ok. You have to get a car to go around.. nothing in a walking distance
