Well decorated and appointed room, in a fantastic location in the middle of the historic centre of the city. Breakfast was good and the staff very helpful. Really enjoyed our stay here.
Only Minor complaint is that the Check in process could be a little bit clearer, especially for any quests that arrive later in the day.

The room was really beautiful, cozy and high qualities, comfortable bed, new bathroom - exactly as per the photo. I was a bit concerned about their “self check in” format but it worked perfectly. The breakfast was also above the expectations with several different fresh and non packed options
They could have touristic information (eg: a city map)

The room was nice and right in the Castello area
I was booked in the second building with no elevator and when I asked for help with my bag up the stairs I got a bit of a rude response. The front desk doesn’t pick up the phone half the time which is tough because it’s not open for much of the day, which makes it hard to get help with checkout, ask for a taxi, etc outside those hours.

Luxurious and spacious room with kitchenette and private bathroom/ensuite in an excellent location. The breakfast was wonderful. Just the right balance of selection of food without being overwhelming with choice. The staff went above and beyond to interact with our toddler. Could not have picked a better place.

This is an exceptionally kind, unique, and charming albergo. The check-in was simple and efficient; Claudia (the very kind manager) wrote on Whatsapp with detailed instructions. The rooms are spacious and stylish. The breakfast is sensational! I highly recommend this place for whoever wants to enjoy the old neighbourhoods of Cagliari.

It is listed as a hotel but it doesn’t have a traditional reception. There is only someone on site at the main building until 3pm each day (and it is behind several doors and seperate building), so if you want to leave your bags you have to pick them up by 3pm. There are 2 seperate buildings. The 2nd building has no elevator and a lot of stairs which you need to carry your own luggage up. The 1st building has an elevator but it isn’t advised to use it. Also make sure you get a cab to and from the hotel with your luggage as we couldn’t get one there and had to carry our bags up a thousand stairs and push them up hill to get to the old town. I wish I had known this I’m advance. The breakfast was really nice and in a cute little room with a lovely person serving.
It wasn’t like a hotel. More a B&B. It also advertised a rooftop space but we were told it had been under construction since they opened and is not available. The contact on WhatsApp responded fairly well however it is not the same as having a front desk you can talk to or ask for help. Also the mattress was lumpy. Also one small
Bottle of water left for 2 guests and a fold out bed beside our bed for no reason.

The room was very comfortable with proper air conditioning. All the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good and plentiful.
Our room could have been designed to provide more functional storage space for clothes. Also a towel rail in the bathroom would have been welcome.

We loved the design of the room, it was incredibly comfortable and the breakfast was stellar.
We wish their housekeeping was a little better, and the location, though beautiful, was up on top of a hill so the walk to and back from the centre of Cagliari was quite tiring!

The hotel in the middle of old town was beautifully renovated and decorated with such care. The location is within walking distance of the city centre. The breakfast was exceptional, bonus points for lactose-free milk! Very friendly staff.
The only tiny thing I can think of is that the toilet would have benefited from a towel hook for the hand towel.

The accomodation was really comfortable, clean and cozy. The breakfast was delicious, the staff was really nice and helpful. The hotel is in the historical area of the city therefore, it is very pleasant to walk around the area and there is a lot to see. The difference in height is quite significant compared to the other part of the city. But there are two elevators available on the eastern side of the castle wall, which greatly makes it easier to walk around the city. We would go back anytime!

Even before my arrival, I received a lot of useful and clear information about accommodation, tips for activities, places of interest and recommended restaurants nearby. Friendly and helpful staff. Staying at Birkin Castell was a pure pleasure. Thank you all.
