We loved everything! Urs and Anita were the most welcoming hosts and thought of absolutely everything. Dressing robes and slippers. A huge choice of teas, coffees, water, juice and milk provided in our room. A fridge too. Fresh fruit, drinks and snacks available in the lounge area all included for our stay and breakfast was delicious. A peaceful and relaxing B&B. Definitely 5 Star!
Nothing!!! Everything was super.

This really is one of the best b&bs I've ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, and the rooms and bedding were all immaculate. Also, the breakfast was amazing. I had an Arbroath Smokie and it was delicious! I slept really well as the beds are very comfortable with high quality bedding and pillows. The location is good, about 10 minutes walk from town and five minutes to the sea.
seriously, the place was perfect. I can't really think of anything that might improve it

Will definitely go back.

This was our 2nd visit to Brucefield house and certainly won’t be our last. Room was fantastic with big bath. Hosts Urs and Anita were amazing and very friendly, they couldn’t do enough for you. Sweets, fruit around the house and free drinks made our stay more enjoyable. looking forward to returning in summer time to spend quality time in their beautiful garden. Thankyou for a lovely couple of nights x
had to drive everywhere as the house was to far to walk into harbour area.

Unbelievably friendly staff. Every comfort catered for. Excellent breakfast.
A very nice home turned into a B&B but in the middle of a very mediocre residential area. Harbor is a significant walk.

We were very surprised when we arrived at this beautiful house (not far from town) with large gardens and personal parking. Owners Anita and Urs were so welcoming and our room was spacious clean with drinks, fruit sweets etc. and we had the most comfortable bed and slept well. The next morning we were presented with a lovely breakfast and I had the local Arbroath smokies..delicious. We will definitely return again.
There was nothing we didn't like

Beautifully furnished and comfortable room, with everything one could want provided, e.g. bath robes, safe, clothes brush, a range of help yourself drinks and so on. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. Excellent breakfast.
Not much that can be done about it, but the location is not great for anyone without a car.

Location was great, beds were comfortable and hosts were amazing. We missed them the night before and only met in the morning, they were a lovely couple and made us fantastic breakfast.
The room with 2 beds is small, not like the pictures.

Really comfortable and luxurious B and B. Hosts couldn't have been more helpful. Would definitely recommend.
the green light in the bedroom ceiling was intrusive in the night (but understand that it will be part of a safety system)

The breakfasts were excellent. Plenty of choice. Didn’t try the smokies as I do not like fish with bones, but other guests chose them and seemed to like them. I enjoyed the scrambled eggs and smoked salmon the first morning then chose full breakfast the next one but I was too greedy and wasn’t able to finish it all.
Couldn’t find any faults.

The breakfast was lovely with lots of choice and of very good quality. The accomodation was perfect, particularly the room and amazing deep free standing bath - with little ducks! It was my husband's birthday and the hosts had left a bottle of prossecco and a box of chocolates in the room. lots of little extras like a mint on the pillow and a fridge with juice and water, dressing gowns and slippers, and free drinks and snacks available in the lounge area. The house is beautifully decorated and the gardens include a little putting green. The hosts were friendly, helpful and very, very nice,
Nothing, everything was perfect.

Excellent standard of accommodation in quiet location. Better than many hotels I have stayed in. Very welcoming and helpful hosts. Complimentary drinks in lounge area. Freshly cooked breakfast with plenty choice of local produce. Urs is a lover of fine malts with an impressive collection of over 50. Fantastic place.
