Location and accessibility of the property was great. I had my elderly mum who had previously attended with my sister and wanted to return for the both the scenery and comfort. Views from the sitting room are great, and good walks either direction from the property. It had everything you need and more. There is a bit of a hill going in to Arbroath (particularly with a wheelchair) there are stairs or via the small park was easier. Arbroath town centre is looking a bit run down in areas, but we found the harbour, marina area and Signal Museum nice to walk around.
All general features were really good. My only small point to improve for us, would be a small table and chairs in the sitting room to use near the patio doors, my mum likes to paint and was awkward on low coffee table, also for family activity, playing cards etc in the evening, without having to sit in the kitchen.

Spotlessly clean; well equipped kitchen with air fryer and coffee maker on top of all the usual appliances, bathroom with walk in shower and plenty of storage space in bedrooms. Lovely summerhouse, but it is the views from front of property that make this rental perfect. Step out of the french windows and you have an uninterrupted view over Victoria park and out to sea. Hosts Maggie and Matthew live very close by and made a visit shortly after we had arrived to make sure everything was ok.
There was nothing we can think of to improve this rental, we hope to be returning soon.

Beautiful, modern, spacious apartment with gorgeous views. Easy to find and easy check in. There was private parking on premises. The apartment was conveniently located for touring in the area,
The heat was turned off and we could not reach the host to resolve the problem. The temperatures were quite cool at night and it was uncomfortable without any heat. I messaged the host 4 times and called 3 times and got no response. It was not until the next morning, after I contacted Bookings customer support, that I got a response from the host. Apparently, she was on holiday, but there was no one to contact in her absence. The issue was subsequently fixed, but we had to sleep with all our clothes on.

Lock boxes are great and the code for the box was sent exactly at the time I was told it would. The home was absolutely beautiful. Everything you need is there. The home is spotlessly clean and very nicely decorated. The view out to sea is so lovely and relaxing. This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed and would have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone else again and if I go back to Arbroath this is the first place I will check for availability. Cannot really say enough good things about it I was really delighted.

the location is superb . A clean and spacious home . The beds are super comfy.
Could do with a few more pots and pans , crockery and cutlery . I know it is a 4 sleeper , but if you are having a few guests over for dinner the catering facilities are a bit limiting .

Noisy upstairs neighbours. Door slamming around midnight, constant walking and stomping 2-5 am, we didn’t sleep the first night

The property was clean and spacious with a lovely sea view from the living room. It was good to have plenty of space to hang towels in the bathroom! The patio was quite a sun trap and a pleasant place to sit even in the second half of September. The location was good - town centre in easy walking distance in one direction and local Co-op in the other; also very handy for the path along the cliffs.
There was only just enough cutlery, and we could have done with a few more teaspoons, etc. The other thing that would have been useful is a bin collection calendar, especially as we discovered the grey and purple bins are collected fortnightly and the brown one weekly on a different day.
However, these were only minor things.

we never had the opportunity to experience the property, I booked this accommodation very early on as there was a reunion for Falklands commemoration 40 years on. unfortunately, we were left scrabbling to find accommodation as owners of this property cancelled on us last minute, apparently they could only complete renovation work in June!
I’m sure accommodation is fine but would raise issue that your booking is not safe depending on whether there are other activities in the area that may pay more.
disappointed and out of pocket! loved many years in Arbroath, have cracking memories of the town, community and colleagues no longer with us, tainted by this experience. especially as we were sent access, key safe and asked to rate property!

I would recommend this accommodation to others. Beautiful views and very clean, well equipped accomodation. We had a lovely stay here ☺️
The beds were comfortable and the shower nice and powerful 🙂

We found the people in the accomodation above us to be very noisy at night (well after midnight). There was a lot of door slamming and stomping around. It's the nature of this type of house, but it did disturb us at night. I would still stay again though. You do sort of get used to it.
There was also a mix up with the accomodation being double booked, but the host fairly sorted this out and our stay was unaffected.

The location was excellent and the sea views were amazing- especially given we had such lovely weather. The flat was spacious and comfortable. It was easy to find and was within walking distance of the town.
The flat felt quite stuffy. Didn’t like the hand gel in the bathroom - would have expected soap of some kind as well.

We were self catering so breakfast and most meals were in the apartment. The kitchen and bathroom were fully equipped for our needs and the two settees in the lounge were really comfortable as were the beds. Some evenings we had the heating on so we were never cold. The view from the french doors in the lounge looked out across the very tidy garden to the sea and we often sat outside just chilling out. We had easy access through the garden right onto the cliff path parallel to the row of bungalows and it was a very pleasant walk which overlooked the park next to the sea. It was only a short drive into Arbroath which we found really interesting, as was the harbour and the Abbey where we looked round the visitor centre and the grounds. The Abbey itself was closed while conservation works were taking place but we enjoyed our time there.
Our holiday was made even more enjoyable thanks to the wonderful hospitality of the host and hostess, Matthew and Maggie. They were really friendly and did everything they could to ensure we were enjoying our holiday so many thanks from Jim, Norma and John to such a lovely couple.

Beautiful view of the sea and Belrock lighthouse out the lounge window. Location excellent for walking along cliffs and short walk to the town. Binoculars provided which was a nice touch.
