Location, ability to walk and observe animals safely. Chalets, particularly double chalets were well laid out and comfortable. Facilities were good. Staff were very helpful and made us feel welcome.
Condition of road to reach property was bumpy and taxi driver struggled to find the location. Family rooms are cramped leaving little room for suitcases etc. No obvious facilities for lunch, afternoon tea or snacks, especially if visitor has no transport to access other places. Menu was not clearly labelled regarding gluten free foods, which caused an issue for one of our party. (Staff did their best to support us on this).

Die einzige Reaktion des Personals "oh, we are sorry". Ernsthaft?

Where to begin with how incredible my stay at Lilayi Lodge was!!! I spent two weekends at the lodge as a relaxing respite from a stressful time at work. You will feel so far from city life, though it's so close to Lusaka. The grounds feel like a magical oasis away from all stress. I enjoyed going on long walks on the hiking trails and seeing all the wild animals roaming the grounds, the fabulous wine and delicious food, the gorgeous chalets and patio, and getting a massage on my patio. Lilayi Lodge thinks of everything, even creating a WhatsApp group for the guest to communicate any room service needs or general questions. The attention to detail in everything was impeccable. I recommend anyone needing a weekend of peace, a girl's trip, or a romantic retreat to go to Lilayi!
Not the lodge's fault, but there are so many flies following me on the walking trails that they got in the way of enjoying a peaceful quiet walk at times. I used the insect repellant but they didn't seem to care.

Lovely hotel set in a large fenced area with a lovely pool and attentive staff. There are nature trails and a game drive where you might see giraffes, warthog, monkeys and different varieties of antelope.

nice nature getaway near Lusaka, good food and friendly staff
we had a very noisy big group of people next to us for dinner, unfortunately the staff didn't manage to keep them quiet

The surrounding so special. Feels like a hidden gem in Lusaka
I think I should have ordered a packed breakfast as I left before it was all set up in the hotel area

A lovely location with comfortable rooms, pretty garden, walking trails to explore and swimming pool to relax beside.

It's hard to know where to start... the incredible animals roaming freely around the chalets; the stunning chalets themselves equipped with the most aromatic natural, homemade products (from bug repellent to bathroom spray!), enormous beds and a huge private decking area to sit and watch the animals; a picture-postcard swimming pool, idyllic grounds with wildlife from giraffes to gazelles; a scenic indoor and outdoor dining area straight out of a film set and; wonderful, friendly staff! My friend and I loved every minute here and if I hadn't been on a budget or a tight schedule, I would've stayed forever! So beautiful - felt like i was in a dream!
That we only had one night! Would've been good to get some advice upon check-in on how to behave around the animals - had a few hairy moments with a wart hog and some zebras! Also prepare yourself for a few long bumpy roads to reach the lodge - but it's totally worth it!

The breakfast was on point and catered for ages.
The shower in the family room had low pressure or some of the jets appeared blocked.

The property is very unique, secluded area. Beautiful location. Serene and tranquility.
The surroundings were very clean, friendly staff who went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable

Nice location, View, food was great, staffs were nice, bed was comfy. Free complimentary laundry was a bonus.
The food service (especially breakfast) was too slow, sometimes we need to remind or call again. Whenever we ordered chips for room service it's always soggy. They need to fix the main bedroom door at FR1 Chalet. It's more convenient if you rent own car as it's too far away from the city and road wasn't great.

The food was amazing. The staff was very friendly.
We hoped to see more animals on the walking trails

A beautiful peaceful oasis and a relaxing end to our holiday. Loved watching the wildlife strolling past our room in the early morning. The food was delicious and the staff very helpful and welcoming.
The only drawback is the wifi on the property which in some rooms was non existant. For visitors from outside Zambia, this is an important facility.

Welcoming staff, calm quiet and relaxed, yet sophisticated atmosphere. We were lucky to see some animals (antilopes, monkeys, birds, zebra and giraffes) on our walks around the routes the lodge provides. The place is decorated with taste, even the music suited the place and atmosphere perfectly!

Fantastic place to stay in a Lusaka.
