The property is huge and Ewa and Salvatore have made sure it includes every amenity possible. Their home is gorgoes and updated. The bathroom is brand new marble. They gi above and beyond for their guests. I would highly recommend stay here.

We greatly enjoyed the location and spectacular view for the short time we spent in it. We spent a great deal of time exploring the beautiful waterfront communities and historical sites, unfortunately many were closed his time of year. Everything you need is here and our hosts Eva and Salvatore were amazing in every way imaginable, top notch! We only wish we could have spent more time here.

The photos don't fully do justice to the stunning view of the Messina Strait! Watching the ship & boat traffic was mesmerizing! The house is well-appointed with many thoughtful touches. The hosts were super responsive, friendly, knowledgeable, and spoke English well. Plenty of local cuisine & culture that's walkable, but a car is required for Scilla & beyond. Highly recommend!!!!!

Appartamento molto ampio, e molto ben dotato di ogni confort. All'interno dello stesso c'è tutto il necessario per trascorrere la propria vacanza, sia come prodotti per la pulizia, per la biancheria, ed anche tutto l'occorrente per una buona colazione. L'appartamento è situato in una zona molto tranquilla del paese di Cannitello, e ha all'interno della propria recinzione, un posto auto riservato. La comunicazione con il padrone di casa è stata sempre molto veloce ma soprattutto cordiale.

De ontvangst van de eigenaren was zeer hartelijk, echter moesten we vaststellen dat de woning niet bepaald schoon was. De badkamer (die niet bij de foto's op de site staat) was vies, douche cabine is hard aan vervanging toe. Ook de keuken moet nodig vervangen worden, deurtjes vallen er haast af en er zaten oorwurmen bij de koffiekopjes. Niet fijn dus. Wat ons betreft was het enige pluspunt het bovenste terras, waar een mooi uitzicht over zee is. Heel jammer, want de verhuurders zijn aller aardigst!

We were very warmly welcomed to the property by Ewa. The apartment included ALL possible comforts. The bedroom upstairs is in the form of a studio apartment with its own bathroom and terrace. The property is super clean and super equipped. Salvatore and Ewa welcomed us with home made wine, fruit and other food/beverage supplies. Not far away pizzeria da Gennaro sells pizzas and arancini to die for, The sea view and view of Sicily from the apartment is very relaxing and enjoyable, The beach is a few feet away and one can stroll along the Calabrian sandy beach. Ewa and Salvatore really provide their very best. We highly recommend this property.

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt in der Unterkunft und kann sie ohne Einschränkungen weiterempfehlen. Der Blick über die Meerenge zwischen Kalabrien und Sizilien ist sehr schön und bietet den ganzen Tag über einen interessanten Eindruck über alle Schiffsbewegungen, die sich hier Tag und Nacht ereignen. Die Gastgeberin ist sehr freundlich. Die Nachbarn ebenso! Eine empfehlenswerte Wohnung, in der es an nichts fehlt.

The apartment, really a condo, is absolutely fabulous. It is light, big and comes with a small almost private beach. Parking is behind a gated fence and the folks in Cannitello were friendly to a person. Traffic on the street is minimal and ships slip almost soundlessly by in the Straits of Messina. I certainly plan to come back and spend more than 3 days. We stayed in Scilla before but this is far better, cheaper and more comfortable. I have NO complaints.

Vue incomparable sur le détroit de Messine, du balcon du 1er étage mais aussi et surtout de la terrasse du 2ème étage. Ewa et Salvatore sont adorables, prêts à donner des conseils pour visiter la Calabre, et en mettant à disposition le nécessaire pour passer un bon séjour (eau, sucre, condiments, charbon pour le BBQ). Un grand merci à eux.

Einmaliger Blick, nette Gastgeber...

Schon im Vorwege erwiesen sich Ewa und Salvatore als sehr freundliche Gastgeber. Es war kein Problem uns vom Bahnhof abzuholen. Auf dem Weg zur Wohnung bekamen wir von Ewa schon die ein oder andere Bar und Einkaufsmöglichkeit empfohlen. Die Wohnung selbst entspricht den Fotos. Am schönsten ist es auf der Dachterasse, ein wirklich sensationeller Blick... Wir waren nur zu zweit in der Wohnung und hatten dementsprechend genug Platz. Aber auch für mehr Gäste war ausreichend Geschirr, Handtücher etc. vorhanden. Ewa hatte auch schon den ersten Einkauf für uns erledigt. Es gab alles von Gewürzen, Kaffee, Pasta, Obst, Wasser bis zum Toilettenpapier, Seife, Shampoo etc. Die vorhandenen Fahrräder waren etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig, aber sie taten ihre Dienste. Die Umgebung ist sehr schön, allerdings liegt überall sehr viel Müll herum, leider auch an den frei zugänglichen Strandabschnitten ( meist Kieselstrand ) Kalabrien ist touristisch noch nicht sehr erschlossen. Der Ort Villa S. Giovanni hat außer dem Fährhafen und der typisch italienischen Athmosphäre nichts Sehenswertes zu bieten. Fährt man die Küstenstraße entlang bekommt man sehr schöne Ausblicke. Wir würden in jedem Fall ein Auto für die Dauer des Aufenthalts empfehlen, damit man die Umgebung erkunden kann, die Infrastruktur ist nicht besonders gut ausgebaut. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen, insbesondere den tollen Blick auf Sizilien. Vielen Dank nochmal an Ewa und Salvatore, ihr seid super nette Gastgeber.

Appartement très agréable qui correspond exactement à la description qui en ai faite par les propriétaires à travers leurs photos Spacieux, bonne literie et pratiquement les pieds dans l’eau Une petite plage à l’eau transparente, est située juste devant l’appartement ,presque privée car seuls pendant 10 jours. Accueil chaleureux des propriétaires qui avaient tout prévu pour notre premier petit déjeuner

Die Ferienwohnung von Ewa und Salvatore bietet alles, was man für einen erholsamen und angenehmen Ferienaufenthalt benötigt. Besonders erwähnenswert ist die sehr schöne Lage der Ferienwohnung, die einerseits einen wunderbaren Blick von der Terrasse über die Straße von Messina bietet, andererseits ein optimaler Standort für Ausflüge zu vielen Sehenswürdigkeiten im Süden von Kalabrien ist. Ewa und Salvatore sind äußerst zuvorkommende und freundliche Gastgeber, die jederzeit den Gästen hilfreich zur Seite stehen und sie mit vielen wertvollen Tipps versorgen. Wir haben im September eine Woche lang den überwältigenden Ausblick auf die Straße von Messina genießen dürfen! Highlight der Wohnung ist zweifelsohne die großzügige Terrasse im Dachgeschoss. Doch auch sonst ist sie sehr geräumig und entspricht in jeder Beziehung der Anzeige. Villa San Giovanni ist ein idealer Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge nach Scilla, Reggio Calabria, ins sizilianische Messina oder das Aspromonte-Gebirge. Was nicht vergessen werden darf: Ewa und Salvatore sind überaus freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Der Empfang war einfach großartig!
