Guter Aufenthalt.

Der Self-Check in war unkompliziert und einfach. Das Zimmer war schön sauber und das Bett wirklich gemütlich. Wir haben uns wirklich wohlgefühlt. Auch fanden wir es cool, das es wir eine kleine Comunity Ecke mit Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle und Wasserkocher gab. Wir dachten auch es wäre hellhörig aber wir haben von anderen Gästen nichts mitbekommen.

Die Lage war nicht die beste, besonders mit Parkplätzen war es eine ziemlich Herausforderung etwas zu finden, wenn man etwas später zurück kam. Das Zimmer war etwas klein aber wir sind gut zurecht gekommen und hatten es doch gemütlich, drotz dem ganzen Zeug das wir aufgrund einer Convention unterbringen mussten.

Für mehr Geld bekommt man bessere und seröse Hotels wie das Ramada.

Man kann nur schwer mit dem Personal kommunizieren und die sind gar nicht kulant gegenüber dem Gast. Die Nachfrage zur Stornierung, weil ich nicht anreisen konnte wurde abgelehnt obwohl ich direkt nach max. 1 Stunden Bescheid gegeben habe. Ich hatte sehr spät abends reserviert, sodass dieses Zimmer sowieso nicht mehr vergeben wäre bis zum nächsten Morgen. Einfach nur lächerlich und den Chef kann man mysteriöser Weise nur per E-Mail erreichen, dessen Namen man nicht mal weiß und in der E-Mail nicht mal angegeben ist. Laut Aussage des Personals ist, können diese den Chef auch nicht erreichen und sehen ihn höchstens einmal im Monat. Alles in allem sehr sehr unseriös! Für mehr Geld bekommt man bessere und seröse Hotels wie das Ramada.

Eine stinkende Toilette für viele Zimmer. Schimmel in der Dusche. Fernsehen und Internet ging nur einen Tag. Sehr laut von anderen Gästen.

Tolles Zimmer mit kleinem "aber"

Das Zimmer war sauber und ordentlich. Für eine 3 köpfige Familie ausreichend. Bad , Dusche und WC auf dem Zimmer. Das war sehr gut..

Nächtliches Türen schlagen weil WC auf dem Gang. Schön wäre wenn bei kalten Temperaturen auch die Heizung im Zimmer funktionieren würde. TV war nicht eingestellt. Sender müssten gesucht werden. Defekte Tischlampe mit abgerissenen Stecker.

Ein Versuch war es wert. Leider durchgefallen.

Eins muss man sagen, es ist sehr sauber. 10 Punkte dafür. Keine Punkte für ein Zimmer bei dem die Steckdosen aus der Wand fallen und man die blanken Kabel sieht (ist das überhaupt zulässig???). Minus Punkte für ein Zimmer - mitten im November - ohne Heizung. Die Leitungen waren von 18.45 bis 06.00 (ausgechekt) kalt. Kein Drehknopf oder Thermostat vorhanden. Ich wollte ganz bewusst mal wieder ein Hostel versuchen. Aber das hier empfehle ich nicht.

Keine Heizung, muffiges Zimmer

Lage ganz gut und die Dame hinter dem Tresen war freundlich.bettwäsche war auch sauber

Das ist aber auch das einzig Positive. Das untere Bett quietscht bei jeder Bewegung und war total durchgelegen. Betten recht schmal. Durch die ins Zimmer gebaute Dusche hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit und es roch muffig. Auf sämtlichen leisten /vorsprüngen/ Fernbedienung etc lag dick Staub. Heizung ging nicht Dusche wurde nur leicht warm,absolut nicht Heiss. Nach dem Duschen war mir so kalt in dem Raum dass Schlafen schwer fiel und ich mich erkältet habe.keine Ahnung wo die ganzen positiven Bewertungen herkommen oder vielleicht hatte ich auch einfach nur Pech?

Für 1-2 Nächte ok.

Lage praktisch, unweit von der Tram, wenige Stationen vom Hauptbahnhof. Kostenfreie öffentliche Parkplätze vorhanden. Restaurants in der Nähe fußläufig erreichbar. Matratze in Ordnung (jedoch sehr klein für 2). Wasserkocher und Kühlschrank zur gemeinschaftlichen Nutzung vorhanden.

WC auf dem Flur. Nach kurzer Zeit geht auf dem WC das Licht aus. Bewegungsmelder nicht erreichbar, während man auf dem Klo sitzt :/ Zimmer sehr eng, zu zweit steht man sich ständig im Weg. Doppelbett sehr klein für 2 Personen, dadurch kein komfortables Schlafen möglich. Liegt direkt an einer Kreuzung (Autos, Lkws, Tram).

Great for budget weekend stays and business trips

The rooms were very small but had everything you needed: A bed, a small table where you could easily fit your laptop and a very small bathroom with a shower. The hosts were very serviceminded and even went out to let me in when my phone died. They further showed me to my room and gave me all the necessary information regarding rules and check out. The city was within walking distance and public transport was easily reachable.

During the evening it can be quite cold. I might have spent a cold night there during the autumn season, where they still haven't turned on heating. I would pack an extra sweater and some thick socks, just in case.

Toller Aufenthalt in guter Lage

Preis-Leistung ist absolut in Ordnung. Die Betten sind bequem, das Zimmer war sauber und gut ausgestattet, sogar die Fenster ließen sich verdunkeln. Die Mitarbeiter sind nett und zuvorkommend und die Lage ist top im Nordviertel. Die Ausstattung wikrte relativ neu. Hellhörig war es gar nicht, es war angenehm ruhig.

Perfect location in Essen

It was very clean room and nicely renovated. Even though we were at a festival weekend and a lot of party people was there, it was very quiet and silent. The rooms were very clean and enough for the purpose of our visit. The staff was very kind with us

The room is compact - modern and aethestic, you basically have everything you need. That being said, the room is a bit small, so if you have sth like claustrophobia, you might need to reconsider. The host is very nice and very professional

Very good

Comfortable, affordable, small room in a building just on the edge of the city center. The self check in worked without problem. The who place was clean and well looked after. Although 'City view' did mean on the main road side of the building.

Nice stay for one night

The check in process was easy. The host is very helpful. Room is small but clean. I like the garden view with all those fishes in the pawn lol watched them for a while. Toilette is clean and shower is good with schampoo and shower gel provided. It is not luxury but it is a nice hostel.

As mentioned after all it is a hostel so the experience is depending on the other guests quality. My stay was a Saturday night so some guests come back from bar and was quite loud with music in their phone. But after things quiet down it is calm.

It's been my second time I had stayed in that lovley hostel. it's very close to city centre and just 10 mins to the biggest mall in the town. rooms always clean and there is small self tea and coffee service available 24/7. Bettina very lovely lady and she's down to the earth. she's very helpful, supportive and flexible. Thank you.

Booking and payment procedure is very old school. I booked first and expected all the payment is going to be completed but they were expecting a transfer they cancelled and I needed to book again and paid 15euro extra because they increased the price

Perfect stop for a warm and cosy night

The room was well decorated, warm and very clean! It was perfect for one night. The host were very responsive and nice to talk to.

I was lucky to find somewhere to park just in front but it doesn’t seems to have a lot of parking space. I could hear what was going in some of the other rooms

The owner was replying immediately, always was making sure, that everything is going well, we have all the stuff we need, etc. The room and other spaces were super clean (and the cleaning lady was really sweet to us, suggesting fen). The room is amazing for a couple of friends. The place is quite, there is REWE in 10-15 minutes nearby and McDonald's as well. :) Also there is a bus to the centre // main station, but we preferred hear walking, since everything is not so far away. 10/10

Good value for money and very nice staff

Bettina was very available, accomodating and helpful. We also got a free room upgrade, which was appreciated.

Having an actual double bed rather than two twin beds pushed together would have been nicer. The room also smelled weird.
