Very close to the airport
This is a guesthouse advertised as a Bed and Breakfast establishment, but it does not do breakfast. Apart from in-room tea and coffee it has no food or drinks available on the premises.

Lovely hostess. Very informative and gave us details of a very good coffee stop on our route to Scotland.
Your website said that breakfast was available but unfortunately was incorrect. Fortunately we were directed by the hostess to a great cafe not far away.

This location was perfect, we were able to easily walk to the airport. The staff was friendly and we also walked to a pub a few hundred yards away for an amazing dinner!!

Fantastic host, excellent breakfast
The room was quite warm. The only window is very small and a fan would have been helpful.

We only stayed for a couple of hours due to our late arrival at Newcastle airport. This was in perfect location as we picked up a car from the airport in the morning and clean

The bed was comfortable, and the decor and accessories was really lovely. The shower was good.
I felt a little cramped in the twin room.

It was very cosy and welcoming. Very friendly owners and extended family.
Cold tap didn’t work in the bathroom so couldn’t get a cold drink of water. Also, we were directly above what must be a utility room? Very noisy dryer/washer running for hours until at least 1am :( couldn’t get to sleep.

Location was perfect, 10 minute walk from the airport & 300 mtrs from a very nice pub, for a meal and a nightcap.
Sound proofing between rooms. Despite being so close to the airport and next to a main road neither of these were an issue. However, the non-stop voices of the women in the adjacent room were very intrusive. Even attempting to raise the volume of the tv to mask them was fruitless as this just made the tv unwatchable.

Walk in shower, they waited for us as we were late.
The bed was very uncomfortable, you could feel the matress coils. I woke up bruised. I had to use pillows and blanket to sleep on.

Situated next to Newcastle airport and on the junction of two busy roads we expected a lot of noise but were really happy to report it didn’t bother or affect us at all. A huge room with an en-suite, dog friendly accommodation. Plenty of parking, easy to find and very hospitable hostess. We can highly recommend Stone Cottage.
Nothing to dislike

Joan was so welcoming right from beginning to end, we went for my friends birthday and we were greeted at the door with a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates, such a lovely touch and everything was perfect! Such a lovely location and we loved every minute! We will definitely be going back!❤️
That we had to leave!😂
