The location was 10 of out 10. There's a great restaurant steps away from the hotel and the food/service was great!
We were disappointed with the room we got as there wasn't a good view. The bathroom was dated especially the shower.

the heating wasn’t working! we had to ask for a portable heater, that was quite incredible for such an hotel and for the price paid…

The room was spacious but quality of like a 3 star hotel at max. The staff were friendly but The whole hotel was very quiet no atmosphere what so ever. We had to take our suitcases to our room ourselves which isn’t 5 star service. No door man so anyone could walk in and out of the hotel and u had to open the door yourself. Again not like a 5 star service hotels I’ve been to in the past. The computer in the room didn’t work we called the reception to fix it they said someone will come up and no one come to help. Overall it was very disappointing. Everything looked like it needed a re paint and had been left to become a little rundown tbh.

Reviews are subjective but I'll write an honest assessment of our experience at Le Maison. Where do I start? ThIs Hotel is DEFINITELY NOT A 5 STAR HOTEL, more like a poor 4 star. The hotel does not provide a formal sit down evening meal of any description so be prepared to fine dine on margarita pizza or a sandwich from the bar menu. I asked for a selection of crisps and biscuits (from the bar menu) only to be told quite rudely they didn't have any! More like they couldn't be bothered. The older barmen and a member on reception were rude and quite simply not interested in meeting the needs of its paying clients. The hotel decor is shabby for example dirty stained walls where pictures once hung, dirty stained carpets, electrical trunking exposing wires with dirty chipped paintwork everywhere, where do I stop? I did take photographs but I haven't uploaded them.........yet!! The waiter in the bar called me SIR twice in the space of 3 minutes and then proceeded to snigger to a younger member of staff, I really felt quite upset as I believe this was intentional. The trip was a 55th birthday present for my partner so I felt rubbish as I had chosen this hotel to celebrate his special trip. I firmly believe a Holiday Inn would have been of a better standard and I'm not knocking Holiday Inns as I've stayed in one many times. The standard of the hotel across the board was very poor so if your looking for a 5 star hotel, I would definately suggest you bypass this hotel at all costs. We weren't the only ones who thought the hotel was awful as we heard many guests complaining. The two good points were our brilliant room cleaner who was very professional in her work and the butler who went out of his way to get us a taxi after the one we'd booked through the hotel didn't arrive. That kind of sums up Le Maison.
