I room was very very spacious. Amazing room with fantastic view. Very quite as well. I used all hotel facilities. The restaurants are superb and the spa shouldn't be missed. I have been to spas in Bali and Maldives and this was better

Perfect location. Perfect Private beach . We reserved the room with a private pool and it was great. Staff were friendly and helpful. We would surely recommend the resort
A bit outdated design but didn’t affect our overall wonderful experience

Good location
Arrived late due to flight - late night staff un sure if food could be provided.

Very good and well maintained location, close to a beautiful, private beach with pools and a bar. Great view from the balcony. Rooms were clean.
The breakfast could be better, the food at the beach was too expensive, e.g a Greek salad for around 16 EUR, same for the cocktails- they were not good and very expensive.

This is a lovely little resort in a stunning seaside setting with a superb spa attached. We booked a private pool room with a sea view which was fun if a bit extravagant. The staff here are a big plus...everyone is so hardworking, friendly and helpful. The Reception team were super: Nancy, Alex and Katrina made every effort to make our stay a pleasure, and Eliie the Spa Director was charming and welcoming. We were lucky to be there when their visiting practitioner Suraj Varma was giving treatments all month. He is an Ayurvedic specialist and his treatments were a highlight of our stay. He just intuitively knows what's wrong and how to fix it...my back felt like new after an hour's massage! The breakfast is beautifully presented and generous, with a huge range of offerings from traditional Greek pastries, creamy yogurt and fresh fruits to made-to-order omelets, crepes, and pancakes and lots of healthy fresh seafood and home-baked bread as well. The coffee is potent and made to order so you can have anything from an iced latte to a double espresso. The dining options are varied. The food at the main beach bar, Elis, could be better but it's not bad, just not very exciting or very GReek. Best options are fresh seafood. There are lots of activities and water sports. We chartered a boat for a couple of hours and our captain took us out for a wonderful cruise to a secluded swimming spot with crystal clear water where we could snorkel. We also rented a car which the hotel arranged at a very good price. The sightseeing is good but the hotel was so pleasant we spent a lot of time just relaxing and hanging out. It's a brilliant option if youre looking for a beach break with the benefit of an exceptional spa. Also there are themed evenings featuring local music and folk dance which were fun.
The allowance of two small complimentary water bottles per day in the mini fridge seems a bit minimal.
The cuisine could be more authentically Greek.

Beach, sea, pool bar, restaurant ( Elie’s) , pool bar team ( waitress and barmaid) was great
They are so helpful
Spa and pools at hotel was excellent ( clean)
It was the worst possible bed in such a luxury hotel. the bed was not comfortable and the cover was constantly coming off. There was no protector on the bed, there was only one cover and it opened easily. also not a comfortable bed
The tool they gave to protect from flies was of no use and there were excessive burning flies. hotel fly spray should be done better
The English of some of the employees, especially the room cleaning and room service ( ladies) was very poor and it could turn into torture to explain our problems.

Breakfast was excellent but menu could use some change from day to day
On site shops should have more options for grocery especially milk

We loved the view from the rooms and the pool area. Staff was always extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast had a very large selection.
Most expensive meals and amenities of our entire trip in Greece. 10 Euro per day to use the Nespresso machine in your room. For the price of the rooms - I think including half board would be appropriate.

Situated on the fabulous Elouda bay, clear water, secluded beaches. In proximity to good restaurants in Elounda and Agios. The facility and service is superb. Kind and helpful staff, to mention the dining hall staff, especially the waitress Georgia .
The great service is set back by clumsy working procedures. In the check in and out, or other things that require flexibility

facilities were excellent - pool, beach, cleanliness, resort style luxury, and best kids club
dates rooms need updating.

The location and vistas over the golf course, private beach, harbour and of course Mirabelo bay were brilliant.
Our family suit was a little tired.
The buffet wasn’t running gif some reason but the restaurants on site were very good.
Aircon very noisy but a lifesaver in the heat so can’t complain.
Concierge will happily call you a 9 euro taco into the port of Elounda which is a few minutes by cab or a 35 minute walk.
Some great restaurants in Elounda.

Breakfast was good, maybe a little more hot food available
Hotel was beautiful,in an incredible Location, very expensive even by 5 star standards.Staff seemed short handed as they were being moved around various restaurants, could do with a lot more training, they all looked so serious like they wanted to be professional but not make any mistakes.

I have no words to describe how happy we were with our stay at Porto Elounda. The staff is absolutely amazing. Their dont go only an extra mile but a few if needed, to make you feel like you are valued.
From cleaning staff to restaurant personal, to Kids Club, reception and hotel management, they really do the utmost in every perspective.
Overall description:
- The rooms are very clean, comfortable and with a private pool, no one can complain!
- Breakfast is delicious as well and setting is beautiful, with gorgeous view;
- Hotel facilities, lobby, pools, courts, path to the beach are spotless clean and well maintained;
- The Kids Club deserves a special shout out as this was the first time our kids actually asked to go back the next day as they loved not only the water slides, but playing with Angelika and the time they spent with her. Special thanks Angelika!!!
All in all, worth your money if you are looking for top service and superlative treatment.
The only negative to point out are the prices at the hotel restaurants. They were exorbitant to say the least.
While at the pool bar they had a fair price for beer per ex, the cocktail prices were out of this world (and we come from Switzerland and are very familiar with a high price tag! :P )
However, this was not an issue for us as we had a car rental and enjoyed leaving the hotel premises and going out for lunch or dinner at near by cities of Agios Nikolaus or at Elounda Port.

We were moved to an equivalent room in Elounda Peninsula. Very nice suites, outstanding view, nice private pool for each room. There was a tennis court and football field. Exquisite reception staff. I can’t thank each and everyone, but special thanks to Eleni who was of great help and kindness.
Food was great, and the sommelier was outstanding.
A few more options could be added to the swimming pool snack menu for variety since it’s a great option for lunch. Football field needs a refresher but it looked like they were working on it.

Wonderful breakfast, great service, gorgeous beaches, nice pools. Very big family room. Nice toiletries. Lovely robes.
Pools were all v cold. Rooms only surface cleaned, the price of food if not included RIDICULOUSLY expensive. And they’ve got you over a barrel really. Have to take a cab to nearby towns for alternatives. Sealant in bathrooms v shonky. Kids club was nothing like as advertised and mine didn’t really want to go as a result. The spa was 30 euros just to go and use indoor pool. It doesn’t make it clear that will be extra.

The staff were lovely. Nancy in guest reservations was a customer service Goddess! Yoga instructor Sonia is a yoga guru! We thoroughly enjoyed the spa complex and the yoga programme.
The rooms & hotel building are poor and in need of a serious refurb: frayed furniture, dated rooms, unfinished building work, unkempt grounds.
Whilst the booking.com photos are pictures of the actual hotel rooms - the photography filters and angles used are very flattering - giving the impression of a modern, recently renovated hotel.
Sadly, the reality did not live up to the expectation set by the pictures. Nor match the price charged.
The hotel assured us it was renovated 5 years ago. Perhaps that was a light touch renovation as the main fabric of the building and rooms remain old fashioned.

location is amazing, 10 min drive from Agios Nikolaos, overviewing a golf, with a private beach for hotel guests. breakfast is diverse and very tasty.
hotel has different kinds of rooms to chose from in order to accommodate your budget
a bit overpriced

Beautiful location and super breakfast. The SPA facilities and location is out of this world. We also enjoyed the beach and pool facilities - the staff there were excellent - because of this its is our 5th time at this hotel. Mostly friendly and attentive staff elsewhere with a few hiccups at the tjek in.
The hotel is in need of a radical update. The rooms seem a bit old and tired (not to mention the furniture on the balconies, which are heavy and stained)

Restaurants overpriced.
No cot available for a 16 month old!
3.5 / 5.0
The staff is very nice and kind, takes care of any shortages, problems or questions, this is something that really makes the stay more pleasant. The location is great, the beach is perfect and the breakfast is very nice.
The hotel is outdated, the door locks (still using the key...) are uncomfortable, doors creak a little, the balcony lock is improvised, the balcony garden is totally dry, and the room air conditioner, even when at peak power, is weak as well as the public areas within the building - they are not properly cooled. I understand that some things are related to the Covid period, but still ...
