Amabilité ++ de tout le personnel de l hotel .Gentillesse et bons conseils et services . Petit dejeuner tres bien toujours servi avec le sourire et tres ponctuel . Rapport qualité prix parfait !

Difficile de trouver l hotel le jour de l arrivee en pleine nuit et personne visiblement le connaissait dans la Medina ! Donc peut etre le signaler en amont et eclairer la porte d entrée le soir avec le nom de l hotel ! ou tout simplement demander au chauffeur de nous accompagner la PREMIERE fois . sinon rien à redire c etait tres bien .

I would absolutely return here as my preferred location in Essaouira. I was there for one week.

Breakfast was surprisingly good and plentiful. They tried to, or did, accommodate my requests. But note, they have no idea how to make an omelette. Which was kinda odd. Each time I got a different 'mixture', shall we say. Good location in the Old Medina. It is a little hard to find, but persevere. I would rate Arthouse as probably the 2nd best place to stay in the Medina, and when one considers how expensive the nicest place is, then Arthouse shifts up to No 1

Location was noisy at night up until around 11pm, just generally with kids playing and men talking. From that time to 9am, very quiet. Note that the men in Morocco talk VERY loudly, and it sounds aggressive to my ear. However, that's just the way it is.

It was okay but there's better options!

The staff were lovely - really friendly and welcoming. We unfortunately didn't sleep well due to excessive street noise (which I get is entirely not the hotels fault) and they were very understanding and actually moved us to a different accommodation they also own down the road, which was much much better. Breakfast was nice, and the room we had was large.

Got to be honest here we slept really badly. There are children and teenagers who play football outside on the street late into the night. Again this is not the hotels fault but makes sleeping hard! The room itself was fine - seemed clean enough - but did have a bit of a damp smell circulating in the toilet. Would have been good to have some clothes storage or a towel rack, there was nowhere to put our things.

Great service, lovely breakfast and amazing location.

We had a room with only windows to the indoor courtyard. This made the room a little stuffy and had little daylight. It was fine for us as we were out most of the day and i believe we were one of the only rooms that had this.

Exquisite riad in prime location with all the nice touches that count, bottled water, ear buds, cotton pads, good shampoo, shower gel, hair blower, fabulous towels and a super comfy bed.

amazing rooftop in the centre of essaouira

downtown in the medina, our room was quite, spotless, comfy. nice bathroom design. amazing rooftop where to rest and sunbathe. the staff is attentive, kind and polite, the breakfast offer was varied, fresh and of good quality. the town of essaouira is absolutely worth a visit for its lay-down atmosphere.

the internet connection was not 100% reliable but it’s a general problem of the area.

Best place to stay in Essaouira

Everything about our stay was outstanding, from the friendly welcome everything just got better and better. Our room was large and very clean and comfortable. It was on ground floor, at our request (aging bones!!), the room was quiet we were not disturbed by any noise from outside. Beds very comfortable. Bathroom spotless, well supplied with shampoo, soap etc, water pressure very good and water is consistently hot. Having been a bit cautious when booking in case of steep stairs, due to design of staircases they were quite manageable and we made good use of the roof terrace, including enjoying our breakfast there in the sunshine. Breakfast was a daily feast. Always different breads, my personal favourite a light flaky flatbread, lovely with honey. Cheese, cold meats, omelette, scrambled eggs, savoury vegetable tarts, always some kind of pastry or cake (imagine chocolate cake with pears and chocolate sauce - part of breakfast on day one.😆). Not every item every day, but a wide range each day with good variation. Always fresh orange juice, and great coffee. But it's always the staff that make or break an hotel. Well, the staff here are the most hospitable, kind, friendly and caring we've ever met ❤️ This was particularly demonstrated when I fell when out for a walk. Nothing serious, just a badly grazed knee. Returned to hotel to ask for a plaster, within minutes I'm having very efficient first aid carried out, my knee is cleaned and dressed, and this continued until fully healed. One of the staff said they like to see their guests as family. That is certainly how we felt. ❤️❤️ We can't wait to return.

The rooms were really nice, organized really well with reasonable size. Breakfast was good, and being able to eat it on the terrace was awesome. The stuff was really friendly, and always happy to help! Totally recommend it!

Might be a little bit noisy in the morning or/at early night, however being the center of the Medina, you can expect this.

Nice colourful and friendly place. I enjoyed my room and the roof terrace especially. Staff is very attentive. They even picked me up at Marrakesch Bab by name's sign. Breakfast was varied and huge. I'll chose the place again when Marocco and Essaouira are on my travel plans in future.

Staff is just great, always smilling and willing to help with anything. At first we couldn't find the place but Salah came for us and showed us everything. They also managed morning transport for airport. Room service is possible every day. Breakfasts ale delicious, you can choose to have omelette, bisara, pancakes etc etc.. Also you can have coffee/tea anytime during the day for free. We spend there our last week in Morocco and it was like leaving our friends. In two months in Morocco, i think this was best accomodation we had.

The fact that we weren't informed about the schedule of the reception or about an emergency phone number. We had some problems with the electricity at around 22h30 and no one was around. At the end we found a phone number and someone came and the problem was solved. But would be nice to know how to contact someone from the staff if needed especially if, for example, you are traveling alone

Despite our difficult situation with our flight back due to the coronavirus, we really enjoyed staying at this Riad. The stuff was very welcoming and helpful. The terrace was very nice and our room spacious. We also enjoyed the breakfast.
