Superbe riad, accueil chaleureux, propreté irréprochable et emplacement idéal, au calme dans la Médina, à proximité du port.

L’emplacement !
Les terrasses !
La chambre un peu trop sombre et humide. L’odeur d’encens dans la chambre.

This is truly a Marrocan run riad. very beautiful (lok at photos). The rooms are beautiful and decorated in typical Moroccan style. Breakfasts on a beautiful and sunny terrace It's a few minutes' walk to the main street market ine the heart of medina. I highly recommend it's a very good choice.

The location is fantastic and the Riad beautifully looked after. We enjoyed two nights here in Essaouira and our room was comfortable, clean and smelled of essential oils. This is indeed a welcoming touch as some Moroccan properties suffer from a light smell from the sewerage. Not here! The Riad is decorated colourfully with beautiful old photographs as well as colourful paintings on the walls, as well as traditional clothing adorning the walls. Colourful communal seating areas on all floors and a shared terrace for all rooms of the Riad where breakfast is served each morning.

Very traditional look with art, furniture and loved the huge terrace on top deck . Two levels with lots of different options. Main reason why we selected this traditional Riyad. Also in a quiet part of the ancient Medina close to the parking lot and away from all the bars and noisy part of the Medina. Could hear the crashing waves all night😀. Very quiet.
Nothing.

Great service, comfortable beds, clean facilities, hot shower.

The Riad is well situated in a quiet corner of the medina. We had a wonderful, large room which was well-decorated and received a cool sea breeze through the window. The breakfast was very good, but the main selling point was the staff. We were delayed and arrived very late, but the owner waited for us and received us very kindly. Even when we woke up too late for breakfast, they still gave us something to eat. Highly recommend this place!
There was no airconditioning, but it wasn't too hot and the seabreeze cooled the room quite well. I have no complaints beyond this honestly. We had a great stay.

Terrace was lovely and the staff incredibly friendly. They were also very accommodating with my breakfast request which was slightly different from what they usually offer as their standard breakfast, as I was pregnant, which was very much appreciated.
The bed was quite uncomfortable and there was a bit of noise late at night from other guests returning .

rooms were perfect and staff really nice
the showers were a bit uncomfortable

Location, comfortable beds, warm blankets provided.
The reception staff - not friendly or welcoming. Very dissatisfied when I wanted to pay by card for the room. Huge sighs. Breakfast - there is only certain amount of pastry one can eat. Eggs or salads would be nice.

Terrace with the a lovely sea view was the pefect place to relax and have breakfast. Breakfats was lovely and filling and there was some variation from day to day. Staff were very helpful in everyhting we needed and made us feel welcome. The riad was cozy and nicely decorated and there was enough common areas to not be on top of each other.

Great location in the middle of everything.
Very nice, hospitable lady running the Riad.
Nice rooms, well appointed, beds were fantastically comfortable (if you like a firm mattress), large bathroom and quiet enough area to allow for a good night's sleep.
Houses do not have heating there but the Riad offers decent blankets so colder nights would not be a problem, even with kids.
Decent, french-style breakfast is offered on a sunny & airy roof terrace.
Many restaurants & cafes around to chose from (we loved Sayef). Exchange offices & shops aplenty as well.
Merely a general 'watch-out' rather than a dislike:
Proximity to the sea, weather, plus the way these old traditional houses are built keep a bit of air humidity inside, more so after using the shower (bathroom does not have natural ventilation).
The Riad is inside the Medina, some walk away from the parking areas (one closer to Bab Marrakech is recommended, the other closer to the fishing port is farther away from the Riad but doable). Daily parking costs 50-60 MAD. So, you may want to either leave some of the luggage in the trunk while taking with you to the Riad just the essential stuff for the night or pay a porter with a pushing cart to carry around your luggage through the narrow, wondering alleyways of the Medina.
The Riad itself is not easy, not too difficult to find. Bear in mind, GPS has reduced accuracy inside such labyrinth.

The location is great, very close to the beach and medina. The terrace is perfect for breakfast and chilling or reading in the afternoon and has a good view of the beach/sea. The riad has a lovely relaxed feel. The staff were very helpful, especially helping to book taxi transfers. I would definitely stay here again.
There wasn't anything I didn't like.
