Owner was helpful when we arrived. Odd check in procedures, but fairly easy. Room was clean, bed wasn’t too comfortable.

Central location, close to everything. Free breakfast at cafe next door was decent.

Ten euro charge for early check in. Staff rarely on site & work a few hours at a time.

Great location , nice room, great vibe

Breakfast was ok, vouchers were convenient and cafe Zichu was good

Aircon was not working properly room was too hot , the bed was not a proper double

Excellent location if you want to be in the centre of town

Breakfast at a cafe a few doors away was fine.

Check in time of 17.30 ( 18.00) is too late for us on a road trip to Greece. Didn’t see this until after I had booked and then couldn’t be bothered to cancel. BUT we did get inside with the luggage at 15.00 after we phoned. Car parking is a 5 min walk up the road in an underground car park which is really tight when crowded and you have a long car. There is a better/ more expensive one a little further away but we were not aware of it at the time

I had a room on the square which was very noisy. The single room is quite small. If you do a late check-in you have to pay an extra 10 EUR which is ridiculous because they didn't have to do anything...

Exceptional

Excellent location. Decided to stay in Monza instead of central Milan and this was an excellent choice. Monza historic centre has a fascinating history and the streets are charming. I had previously visited the large park and villa, you could easily enjoy several days exploring Monza. Christmas market was directly outside the hotel, cafes nearby. Easy walk from the train station and just 10 minutes direct train to Milano Centrale.

Really nice hotel

We stayed 4 nights at Locanda San Paolo and we are really glad that we choose this hotel for our trip. We spent most of our time in Milano and we used the hotel just for a nap. The train station is 800m away, about 10 minutes by foot. The bed was really comfortable. The location was ideal, lots of restaurants and Cafe nearby. The staff was great. If we ever travel again to Milano we will surely stay here again.

excellent place to stay in the north of Italy

the location of the hotel is great. right in the city center, just a few minutes walk from the train station. the hosts were really helpful. the room was very comfortable and clean. breakfast was delicious. I strongly recommend staying in Locanda San Pablo. it was a really good value for money.

Location is central and nice.

Very noisy room at the square side. The temperature that week was above 30 degrees and airconditioning was broken so fprced to keep window open. Until midnight a bright atmosphere at the square full of people meeting each other, np problem. But around 01:00 and 06:00 they were cleaning the square with loud machines. Dissappointed stay as i was looking fprqard to stay here for weeks!

Central place in Monza

Great location. Car park (17€/day) one block away. Wifi works well, really nice rooms.

Breakfast isn’t much. Cup of coffee, glass of juice and a croissant at nearby caffee. Good if you find that enough.

Loved our short stay but wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel is situated in San Paolo Piazza, within Monza, really lovely spot. We stumbled across the beautiful Cathedral and the cafes/restaurants were all very welcoming. Happy hour is busy, you need to be trying to get a table early at lunchtime 2pm til 5pm but when you do the 'nibbles' that accompany any drink order are amazing and cost next to nothing! There are plenty of places to eat but be adventurous and explore the town. We had a fabulous evening dinner at GiGi's restaurante, proper dining experience. Breakfast is simple but we didn't need much more than a coffee/tea/orange juice and croissant as we were always eating!! Hotel staff were really helpful and each of them spoke perfect English so it made it really easy to order Taxis or get help.

The beds could have been a little softer but it wasn't a big issue.
