Simply superb

The hotel was simply superb, from the staff and accommodation to the exceptional breakfast, lunch and dinner menu and surrounding area right across from the Royal Palace of Savoy and its gardens. This was, by far, the most luxurious, opulent hotel we've ever stayed in, but with a very unpretentious, homey and welcoming feeling. As if you stepped back in time, but with all the modern amenities you could ask for. And Monza in August has just the right number of tourists to be interesting without being crowded. Only downside: we missed the Formula 1 race by a weekend. But all the more reason to return to this quaint Italian city and one-of-a-kind Hotel de la Ville Monza!

Goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding voor een Small Luxury Hotel of the World.

We verbleven in een heel ruime, goed afgewerkte kamer met grote luxe badruimte en walking closet met veel bergruimte voor kleding en koffers. Het ontbijt was ook goed maar verse sinaasappelsap ontbrak. De cappuccino was wel handgemaakt. Het hotel heeft een (gratis) eigen parkeerterrein.

Het hotel had een mooi terras maar geen zwembad of zonneterras. Het hotel is in een nieuw gebouw maar de inrichting is heel klassiek in engelse stijl. Door de ruime opzet en goede afwerking is het echter wel een heel comfortabel hotel.

Exceptional hotel both for business and leisure

I am coming to this hotel since 20 years and it never fails to impress, Outstanding service and friendliness of personnel, the rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable. Restaurant Derby Grill perfect for business dinners. Best breakfast I had on my travels so far.

Small hotel with much to offer!

Situated short walk into town for restaurants and convenient rental car pick up. (Good jumping off point to visit Lake Como). Bike and scooter rental right outside property. Rooms well appointed, clean with extremely comfortable beds. Unfortunately we booked without breakfast option but breakfast room located in lovely covered veranda. Uniquely decorated with friendly responsive staff. Did not eat at hotel so cannot comment on Derby restaurant.

The Hotel and rooms were lovely as always. Very clean and large rooms.

The price of coffee was a little ridiculous, and no tea or coffee facilities in the room.

All the staff 😊😊😊 are exceptional ! The breakfast is excellent. Something for everyone's preference. Free private parking is another plus.

Nice hotel with a great breakfast

Very nice hotel, breakfast was amazing. Staff was very attentive. The restaurant was really nice but remember to book a table before your stay as the restaurant is fully booked all the time.

the hotel is next to a very busy road. The beds were a bit uncomfortable. Check-in was at 14.00 but my room wasn’t ready until 14.30.
