Easy check in.
Lost of dust and dirt, but sheets were clean.
3.5 / 5.0
Room had a microwave, a fridge and a flat screen TV with good reception of French channels. Water was hot and with good pressure<
It was hot so it would have been nice to have a fan in the room.

everything was good
the housekeeping knocking on the door loud and many times for us to leave because she hasn't got time and it was too early and one of the housekeeping staff was rude and shouting at us

Unbeatable value for money in Basel.
Little worn-out but ok :)

location
too many insects in the room.
3.0 / 5.0
- close to Basel city center, to the bus and tram station
- convenient for a short stay
- quiet neighborhood
- the room was pretty messy, the floor was obviously not cleaned, full of hair and dust
- the host was grumpy and didn't leave a good first or second or third impression, definitely something to work on

There is a small kitchen, the tools are all set.
there were too many ants on my bed which made me feel uncomfortable because I just wanted to be relaxed after walking the whole day.

the location is very good - 10 min by bus or 30-40 min walking to old town basel.
3.5 / 5.0
Very convenient location, close to the swiss tram and bus stop
Clean room but very basic equipment
0.5 / 5.0
the owner looks like a nice person
the position is quite central
old furniture, uncomfortable bed, the bathroom is really not decent
4.5 / 5.0
Very close to Basel and good connected to public transport. The room was big and warm
3.5 / 5.0
The position is super convenient, the price is unbeatable and the room was big and very clean. Daily cleaning service and fresh towels. The owner is very friendly and helped us swiftly with a small issue we had with the toilet. Very quiet area, we slept very well. Great value for the price!
The rooms (forniture and facilities) are a bit old.

The hotel is situated on the Franco Swiss border and is nicely equipped. The landlord Monsieur Schmitt is super nice.
nothing important, maybe the electric kettle could be cleaner, but anything else is perfect !

close to airport and had everything we needed. nice large rooms. great to include free parking
nothing

The owner (Mr Schmitdt) is a very, very kind person, keen to help the clients and very spontaneous.
The hotel is close to the tram station, right next to the border with Switzerland.
Be careful with the mobile network, Mr Schmidt gave good advice on setting the operator manually to avoid costs.

Good location. Accommodation considering the price was acceptable. Suitable for low-cost travelers. Perfect parking.
Not suitable for families with children. Old equipment, dishes in kitchen very dirty, dish sponge tasteless, lack of dishes. Bathroom washed but old, hence mould in places, smell from pipes. The worst thing is the plumbing, which makes a loud noise, so that it wakes you up about 2 times a night.

position very close to Swiss border, so, easy to commute to Basel. An apartment with small kitchenette giving flexibility for cooking. The price is good, but in the area other, newer hotels charge a similar price
the facility is out for sale (owner is retired and is selling it). Hence, no investemnt made on facility: the taps on the kitchen sink move left and right any time one is trying to get water. The shower muzzle must be held with own hands because there is no place to hang it on the wall....difficult to hold it and use soap at the same time. I found 2 hairs in my bed linen (and 1 spider). The cleaners forgot to close my window once they left and therefore left it open all day until I came home (rainy day in September).

good value for the money.
the bathroom shower head is portable and you can not hang it so it’s a bit difficult to shower
4.5 / 5.0
it is calm and cozy.
the shower is a bit tight. but in general bathroom is good.
