Ubicació perfecte, davant del mar, a la millor platja d'Amed. Habitació gran, terrassa espectacular.
L'esmorzar es podria millorar.
Les habitacions necessiten una mà de pintura, i el matalàs es una mica dur.
4.0
Proximity to the beach, access to nearby restaurants and dive centres, helpful staff
4.0
The place is right on the beach which is useful if you don't want to always sit at Warungs and spend money. The bedroom is good and comfortable, breakfast was also good.
The drainage is not great and it takes a while for the bathroom to dry after showering, but it's not a big issue.
Something to keep in mind is that Amed is a fishing village and therefore you will hear all the movement and engines very early from your room
4.5
Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample and good
quality . Great location, stepping out of your room onto the beach.

The accommodation was basic, clean and had everything I needed. I chose the upstairs room option as that has a lovely balcony and the best sunrise view. Location is right on Jemeluk Beach where the main snorkeling spot in Amed is - so very convenient. The guest house has its own restaurant and there are plenty of other restaurants closeby.
Staff were very nice and efficient.
There is a diveshop attached to the guest house where i was able to rent fins. And they also arranged my transport back to Sanur. And i was able to get my laundry done. They take credit cards so it was really convenient to do everything in one place.
The highlight (apart from the snorkeling) was the beautiful sunrises and being able to snorkel as soon as the sun rose as thats when the fish are out.
Overall a wonderful place to stay and good value for money.

Great location and room right on the beach. Great view of the water and fishing boats.
4.5
Not expensive, sea front, very friendly staff
Unfortunately a lot of rubbish in the sea, but It's all around the Bali :(
3.5
Friendly staff, great deck and view
Place a mop or rubber sweep in room for the bathroom as the water covers the whole floor when having a shower and takes all day to drain and dry up. We stayed 2 days and no one came to refresh room.

Staff & location very hard to beat

The location perfect for diving, snorkeling or simply relaxing.
Because of the rain we arrived later than we were thinking. Somebody was waiting for us. Breakfast and lunch were good
Just found the bedsheets and coverbed a bit small . Not wide enought

We loved our stay at Galan Kangin! Our garden bungalow was huge and great value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful, with great tips for the area, and they arranged our fast boat ticket to Gili Air. The breakfasts were a highlight, served with a stunning view of Jemeluk Bay. We would stay here again happily.
The only minor problem we had was a short WiFi outage, which affected several hotels and was fixed within a couple of hours. Everything else was great.

Amazing location with direct ocean views. great Terra’s .

location is fantastic
the owner and staff especially Polo are the best nothing was a problem
no water in the rooms
rooms not cleaned every day
very minor things which didn’t worry us

Perfect location for snorkeling. Owners are very friendly and accommodating. The bungalos are nice and quiet. The rooms facing the sea have awesome views. This was my 2nd visit and it won't be my last.
An electric outlet near the nightstand would be a nice addition.

This property is a small company, but the level of the services provided there, is amazing. It is not common on Bali, that you will get exactly what you payed, but in Galang Kangin, you will get more.
My room was located directly on a beach and was perfectly clean and all the furniture and equipment was working (small concern about electric plug). There ware local boats parking dirrectly in front of my room and there was one night when I woke up during a night by a noise made by a fisherman starting his boat. As it was only a short event, this was not disturbing for me. If you have problems to get sleep, take ear plugs with you.
I was planing to eat in more restaurants during my stay, but the food in Galang Kangin was so delicious and cheep, that I eventualy used to eat only there.
This property provides also scuba diving and snorcheling services, so you don't need to walk around to find a diving provider. As I was freediving there this time, I didn't use their diving services. During my weak of staying there, I have seen many divers going out with them and I noted that the equipment rented in this diving shop was looking quite well maintained and the groups are not big.
It is definitive, that if I would be coming to Amed again, I would be staying in Galang Kangin. If I would go for scuba diving, I would be diving with them.
there was not so strong wifi signal inside of a room and it was needed to go to a terasse to browse. There is only one electric plug in the room and even it works, it looks a bit broken.

This place is amazing. The staff are lovely and do everything they can to make you comfortable and happy and go above and beyond. Theres snorkling straight in front of your room and all the way up the beach. This was our second time staying here since we loved the location so much last time.

Really nice location if you want a room directly on the beach. :)

Right on the beach, sea view from the room, huge terrace in the upper rooms
Even thought we were the only people in the hotel the staff manager was hushing us out and not really pleasant.
