The stay was awesome.

We liked our stay at Benalla, location and room was great and Liz dropped us off too the wedding we were attending also .....so appreciated for her to go out of her way for us .. Tracy and lan Davis.

Another stay in Benalla

We have stayed at Benson Lodge a few times now. Although it is not a large space it has everything we need, and it is always clean. Can definitely recommend this accommodation. Any questions and Ray will get back to you. A real pleasure to deal with.

The property was outstanding! So comfortable, impeccably clean, generous provisions and beautifully furnished. It was very private, quiet and everything was of a high standard.

Pefect solo/couples stay close to town with every detail covered

Superbly appointed with every little detail covered. Snug, comfortable and easy to work on a solo one nighter. Excellent communication and every item of equipment, appliance etc for tea/coffee, continental brekkie. centre of town is an easy 15 minute stroll with plenty of retail options and food choices.

Welcome Home

Owners were meticulous about presenting a clean, comfortable, welcoming arrangement. Thorough instructions provided for ease of access for our late arrival. Undercover secure parking, chocolates and breakfast were included, along with wifi and movies for our pleasure. Option of EV charging also available at the property if required. Was an absolutely pleasure to come ‘home’ for the night to a great shower and comfortable bed to get the rest we needed after a long day of travelling.

Immaculate overnight stop

Benson house was the perfect set up and size for our overnight stay. It has all you need in a near space, great bathroom and fabulous outdoor area as well. Super Clean. Loved the breakfast items to make it easy for an early morning get away.

Very clean, cozy and secure area. Walking distance to shops, lake.

Ray messaged me two days prior my arrival date, the key code, where to park, directions to the property.

Mattress was rather soft to my personal preference. When my husband rolled, the bed disturbed slightly.

Excellent modern and clean property for a short stay with continental breakfast included.

For a short stay for two people this was an excellent property with a continental breakfast included. The property inside looked new and was very clean and comfortable. We were very fortunate with what looked like a promotional deal which made it very cheap for a property of this quality.

We had no complaints as it was a one night stop over however the space in the bed area could be a bit small for an extended stay.

A perfect place to stay instead of a motel.

Cosy and comfortable, beautifully appointed. Very quiet. Particularly liked the bed and bedding and reading lamps and fresh flowers. Good breakfast - crumpets were a treat!

We will stay at this property again if we are passing through and in need

Great communication. Hosts very thoughtfully had left the heating on so the room was warm when we arrived very late after a international flight and drive. Lovely bedding and continental breakfast left for us. Hugely appreciated

It is an older property so the basin taps were a little noisy but it would be a stretch to say we didn’t like it

Amazing gem of accommodation. loved it!

everything! loved how clean and comfortable and warm it was. loved the location, quiet and accessible. Really liked how good the host was to look after us, turned on some lights and the heater before we got there. Amazing selection of continental breakfast selection.

Cosy studio room with generous hosts

The room was small but really comfortable and nicely decorated. Breakfast provisions were very generous. Lovely little outdoor table for extra space. Our hosts were attentive and eager to promote Benalla attractions . For those with electric cars, an outlet is available on site. Thanks Ray and Liz!

Perfect boutique studio accommodation

The lodge is a converted garage but looks and feels like a light studio. It was perfect for our weekend getaway and the owner was polite and helpful without being intrusive. I'd definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

There were no cooking facilities other than microwave HOWEVER owner did offer us the use of a Webber BBQ upon enquiry and there are a number of eating options within walking distance and more within a 5 minute drive so it really wasn't an issue.
