Very quiet and a lovely indoor swimming pool and sauna.
Nothing.

Gebouwen, personeel, hulp
Beetje lawaai s avonds , maar zeker niet storend

Our first impressions were good, the owners were very friendly and welcoming.
The rural setting was interesting with comprehensive facilities.
The room was big with beams, unfortunately TV did not work and no tea making facilities.
We were booked into the restaurant adjacent to the Lodge complex by the owners, unfortunately the whole meal was
strange. I was violently ill after that meal recommended by the lodge, which was across the lane . I was unable to eat anything at all the following day and there fore missed breakfast. (my husband also felt unwell after evening meal).
I suggest the Lodge owners do not recommend the eating place opposite.
There was no tea making facilities and the Television was not working in the room, which was accessible by a very steep staircase. quite risky. I had a very uncomfortable onward journey.

Breakfast was very good: lots of homemade products, simple yet tasty, and served by a smiley and friendly staff.
Nothing. It's truly an awesome place.

This place is magic...it features the perfect blend of ancient and modern, it has several spaces to chill out, read, sunbathe. We visited the farm, bathed in the pool, which is located in the old barn, had a wonderful dinner at the restaurant...it overall exceeded our expectations.
we had an amazing room, but the access through the stairs was not for everyone.

We very much appreciated the warm welcome of the host and a special eco-concept of the place. Highly recommend the restaurant where meals made of vegetables grown on the nearby farm are being served. A stroll in the garden to check out those vegetables was also nice.
Please keep in mind that the swimming pool is at the different building than some of the rooms - not so practical if the weather is not good. It was not a problem for us - just needed some preparation.

It was like being invited to enjoy all the facilities and privileges of a private home. Very low key relaxed atmosphere in quality surroundings.
Dinner at the restaurant was phenomenal and far exceeded our expectations. A brilliant chef who has a brilliant touch at balancing flavours and texture. Mundane vegetables were elevated to exquisite tastes and textures that excited the palate.

Lovely atmosphere of art, health and wellness created by well traveled global citizens. Enjoyed seeing the art, having a swim and discovering their horticulture. 200 types of tomatoes! Hand made haut-couture furniture shipped in from South Africa, offer an insight into the hosts ideas on sustainability and design.
We needed to be in the area, so perfect; though some might call it the middle of nowhere. So if you want quiet and starry nights, this is the place.
4.5
The personal touch. Being remembered from a previous visit and the wonderful food. Well done!
It’s not really about not liking. The property has come up with inventive solutions to cope with Covid. We missed having the freedom to visit the pool at our own pace. Still, it was a great change from being confined at home. We’ll be back.

I like softer beds.

The pool inside a barn.
The alpacas and the beautiful grounds.
The staff’s many acts of kindness.
The South African touch.
The restaurant and the very original dishes inspired by freshly grown own produce.
Flawless experience.
