Beautifully decorated property.
The man running the place was not friendly at all. The breakfast was very sad. At least take things out of their containers and try to make it look nice.

The location- Solvorn. Oskar was great.
Hard to find the front door and stopping/parking upon arrival was difficult. For a place with only shared bathroom and very small bedroom, it was overpriced compared to many other places we stayed in the area.

Beautiful home, nicely decorated, cosy.
Amazing breakfast with freshly baked waffles.
Plastic shower unit seems on the first a little cheap compare to the rest.
Beds are too soft for my taste, but mostly the case in Norway.

Very charming villa located in a very charming village in Sognefjord. The villa was in general very well kept and executed. It was all the small details that impressed us: comfortable beds, good bathrooms and showers, very clean, good locks on individual rooms, code lock on main entry, high quality kitchen utensils and cutlery for everyone to use. You could really see the villa wasn't cheaply put together to make an extra buck, but that they've really put in the effort. Also the gardens around were amazing, little streams of water and fountains with a lot of flowers and plants here and there, with several sitting groups for people to use.
The staff was very friendly especially the French girl who made us eggs and bacon in the morning. Owned by a very nice couple.

Solvorn is a lovely place and the Villa Solvorn was in a great location, especially as we came by public transport. Breakfast was freshly prepared for us by a lovely French woman. Everything was very clean. Only one other couple staying when we were there and they were lovely too.

Cozy B&B. Clean and friendly staff.

Excellent location, lovely comfortable sitting room, outstanding breakfast.
There was some confusion about our reservations and my husband and I were places in a single room with a double bed that was pushed up against the wall in order to give space to move around the room. As both of us are 6’ tall, that was extremely problematic. We checked the reservation and I didn’t see the problem with it. As the couple that got the double room was considerably smaller, it was a bit difficult to accept. Fortunately our friends (husband 6’3”) got a lovely room.

nice house with lovely garden. Good breakfast. Comfortable common rooms.
Was a bit crowded, did not feel like home at evening, too many people everywhere.

Oskar was a perfect host, excellent local suggestions and delightful conversations. the breakfast was excellent, and the house is charming. Easy trip to the Urnes Stavekirk, great hikes nearby, and beautiful.

Guesthouse is in a spectacular location by the Lustrafjord. The only restauarnt in town, Kvitabui, serves fantastic meals of fresh seafood from he fjord and game. The setting is on the pier with a large open air patio overlooking the fjord. Service was fantastic.
When we arrived, the owner Oskar said he had the flu and would check us in remotely. I was worried and asked if he had tested for Covid (maybe tomorrow) and I said we should keep our distance; he lives next door. The next morning, he was in the kitchen with no mask and no windows open. The following day he was in the hallway with no mask, talking to guests. Exactly 4 days later, my husband came down with Covid. We are fully vaccinated and almost never ate indoors during our entire trip. It's not certain he caught it from Oskar but quite likely. Under the circumstances, Oskar should have respected public health rules, and isolated and masked, give that the current strain is very contagious.
We stayed 3 nights and were put in the smallest room in the house with twin beds and no place to put belongings except the floor. We asked to move to a larger room with a double bed but he said no. The room was vacant for 2 nights so he could have easily accommodated us.
Finally, the walls are paper thin and the doors bang so one hears noise.

Really cosy house, beautifully decorated. Garden is really well kept, with different places to sit and relax. The living room has a homely feel, the (shared) bathrooms are clean and spacious and the bedrooms are comfortable.

Villa Solvorn is in a charming little town on a beautiful fjord. The Villa is very clean and beautifully decorated. An nice mixture of modern updates and the character of an older home. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were charming. There is a nice little cafe a minute walk from the property and a small beach about 500 m away that my kids loved. The garden and surroundings of the property are just amazing. Breakfast was very nice with a good selection of food.
Our room was facing the sun and on the top floor which made it quite hot. You can’t really open the door since it is a house, the other guests could see into your room. The windows didn’t open very far. A couple of fans would have gone a long way in making our sleeping arrangements more comfortable. With that being said, the beds are very comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay.
