A comfy, welcoming and clean guesthouse

This guesthouse is wonderful. The family that runs it is so warm and helpful- would highly recommend this place for families. Super clean, great location, and comfortable beds! It is also very reasonably priced.

Centrally located gem in a tranquil neighborhood

Located centrally within the ancient town but within a quiet residential area. Near to all the tourists sites and owner was helpful with bringing the luggage up and when we were going off to catch our didi to Suzhou city

Baidu maps would bring you a long way to the accomdation via the main entrance, contacting the owner to get instructions on how to get there is essential

Тихое место, как у бабушки в деревне. Дом старый деревянный, скрипучий, но именно это мне и нравится. В доме есть всё самое необходимое, в комнатах душ, туалет, полотенца, средства гигиены.

Nice and quiet with great value for money

Nice location and great value for money. The staff was easy going and helpful

The lock. A nice touch with old fashioned style. But we do need a more secure sense of stay and the old style lock is not giving us much sense of security. I guess it’s just the style and unique experience of the place.

I had a comfortable stay in a town well worth visiting.

A cosy inn down a lovely quiet lane. It's close enough to the main tourist areas for easy access, but far enough away for peace and quiet.

This place exceeded our expectations, especially when it comes to cleanliness. You don't find such spotless accomodation options in China very often. And the interior is exquisite. Great location for strolling around Tongli Water Town.

Cute, quiet, cozy in Tongli village

I loved staying at this guesthouse, already planning to come back again sometime. We stayed 3 nights. The guesthouse is in Tongli ancient town, which can get quite busy. But the guesthouse was on a totally quiet little road, just a few minutes walk from the action but safely hidden away when you want to escape. Spent a lot of time in the quiet hotel neighborhood drinking tea next to the canal and reading a book. Totally relaxing.

Comfortable stay in the Tongli area

Great hospitality of the Host. He picked us up from the car parking with his tricycle and also later dropped us back to the car parking. The room is very neat and tidy. The Location of the room is also very near to the Tongli scenic area.

The Local registration had to be done by us by physically accompanying the host. In other places the host managed this by himself without Guests accompanying him to the government office. Waiting with two kids after a long day at the registration office was a bit uncomfortable.

Perfect, low priced place to spend a night in Tongli

The owner was really friendly and came out to meet us by the town entrance so we could use his discount to buy entrance tickets (usually 100rmb, 80rmb with discount). The location is right close to the centre of Tongli. Room was super clean and well equipped, it was freezing outside but the air con worked well. Little bit noisy in the morning but you can’t expect any less in a chinese village like that! We were also upgraded for free as there was no one else staying which was a nice touch.
