Great location with stunning mountain views. It was very very quiet whilst we were there (early July) but there are some other houses very close by so may not always be so. We had plenty of hot wAter for baths and showers, the bathroom and shower room were lovely although no photos were included in the listing. The owner of this property has gone out of her way to think of everything you might need, providing a vast array of kitchen items and lots of extra items that one wouldn’t normally expect! Eg thermos flask, shopping bag, electric gridle, first aid kit, sewing kit, ice packs, bag of ice! Etc etc! There are also games, books and dvds and a stack of holiday info booklets etc. The beds were comfortable. There was a lot of space.. the place is much bigger than you will imagine from the photos! It is the whole of the upper floor of the building.
We we’re a group of four, cooking fresh food from scratch every day and we did find the size of the fridge a bit limiting.( it’s a fridge-freezer) We had to throw some of our veg away as it didn’t fit in the fridge. Also it did tendto freeze things that ended up at the back of the fridge.( this seems to be a trait of older fridges!). This was the main thing that I feel lets the kitchen down.
If you have a bad back like me you may not get on with the sofas.. (however there was one armchair that suited me better.)
Although the balcony was fantastic for sitting out the rest of the garden is very functional with a sloping lawn and large parking area at the front, and washing line at the rear. The rear garden is also a sloping lawned area and has the oil tank for the heating. ( We found that we could always smell the oil if we were out the back and sometimes we smelt it wafting in the kitchen windows... I don’t know if this is normal... ?)The garden areas do seem to need some tlc, but I m not complaining as for the price of the property and the facilities we were very happy.

Loads of space, well equipped, and great quiet location.
The bed was comfy and the excellent curtains made the room really dark.
The kitchen cupboard handles were really awkward and it could have done with a shoe rack by the front door.
Leather sofas also get quite cold in November!

High standard of accomodation. Great size. Outside seating. Quiet surrounding. Close to amenities. Providing you were fit or had a car.
Advertisement states 10 min to town. It is an extremely steep hill down and an extremely hard walk back. No pavements. Ok if you have car. Dissapointed there was no delivery from take aways.

Most fully equipped cottage I have stayed at. Wonderful views of the Cadair Idris range.
There was nothing to dislike.

Very tastefully decorated and very well equipped, including some delightful welcome cakes. More of a home then a holiday let. Stunning views, although the weather did not allow us to dine alfresco. Comfortable beds and plenty of linens and towels. Excellent location for exploring North Wales. Great WIFI.
The access was not quite what we hoped for our elderly relative. It was not possible to bring the car up the side of the house in order to enter the property from the rear ramp and it is heavily gravelled, so would not recommend for anyone with mobility issues. No DVD/Playstation player, which is listed, although there were plenty of discs/games available to use.

Spacious cottage in great location. Perfect for a large family as it had 3 large bedrooms and a large kitchen and living room. Friendly host. Very clean.
