Atendimento no café e principalmente as instalações do hotel

El personal y la ubicación.
Se escuchaban hasta los ronquidos de la habitación contigua y el colchón muy mal.

We had a lovely bright room and a balcony with a lovely view. The staff were so nice, especially the man on reception (I think he was the owner) and the people serving breakfast. They were so nice, making sure we had enough to eat and refilling our coffee. The lady was so lovely taking care of everyone and even wrapping up some food for people to take with them.
I think the cleaners overlooked a few minor things in our room. The back of the toilet hadn't been wiped and I found a good few hairs in the bathroom. The walls are thin and the neighbours were very noisy early in the morning. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

The staff was extremely friend and helpful throughout my stay. They arranged a late check-out for me and it was very lovely. The location is excellent, close to everything in Viana do Castelo. The breakfast was lovely. Perfect if you're travelling alone or with family as the staff really is so home. It's also great to have all the options for extra amenities you might need (umbrella, raincoat, etc.) and bike rentals.
The walls are rather thin and you can really hear what is happening in the adjacent rooms, perhaps bring some earplugs if you're sensitive to that. The lights in my room were all white and so that didn't feel very cozy, yellow lights really make a difference.

The tub was great after walking 25k.

The room was small but comfortable. The bathroom was nearly as large as the bedroom! The breakfast was adequate. Not too far off of the Camino
Breakfast could have added more protein.

Staff were especially helpful, both on the front desk and at breakfast. Did not expect table service at breakfast. Very accommodating with my dietary requirements.
The rooms seemed to just have particles boards separating them. We could hear people in other rooms. Rooms were squeezed into the floor. Unfortunate as the staff were so good.

Good value and great breakfast, easy parking available on site. The location is perfect for seeing the town and walking to dinner. The staff were great and have specific dining recommendations that worked out well.
The room is a little worn down, and blankets need refreshed. Functional, but showing is age.

The kindness of the staff. The location is great. Breakfast is great too. Very nice people there.
The fact that they didn't have a parking spot in their garage. But it wasn't difficult to park on the street.

Location is excellent for the town. Reception staff exceptionally helpful and friendly - our son needed some minor medical treatment and the staff could not have been more helpful. Balcony on our 3rd floor room was lovely, a great bonus. Parking was convenient as they have an arrangement with spacious underground carpark nearby. Price was very good.
The ensuite bathrooms are well equipped but have glass doors and walls. As we were a family of five (in 2 rooms) some of our party were not very keen on this feature! The breakfast was OK, no complaints but nothing special. But overall we were delighted with Hotel Laranjeira and would definitely stay again.

The staff were exceptional!! We have been on an extended road trip throughout Portugal and have been staying in many hotels and the front desk staff were exceptional, best we've experienced. They were great!

Excellent welcome by owner's family members, parking inside the hotel, very central location in old town, hotel recently renovated with a simple modern feel, very good restaurant recommendations by staff. Good breakfast.
Viana do Castelo is a gem of a town, and staying at this hotel was a very affordable bonus.
The room and bathroom were modern and good, but not totally soundproof with the next room.
It was not to the point of bothering me though.

Good location; good value;clean; comfortable beds; nice size room; excellent breakfast and the staff were amazingly helpful. Their recommendation for dinner (Bota d’agua restaurant) was excellent. The hotel , at breakfast, even provided us with food , foil&bags to make a packed lunch as we were doing Camino.
We didn’t like the glass bathroom wall . It didn’t give much privacy.

room was spacious, confortable and clean, hotel centrally located and no noise disturbance. staff very welcoming, polite and helpful. breakfast was ok.
the whole bathroom has no wall but a glass door. it was not an issue but it feels odd. the breakfast room is small, so if you come in the rush hour it may be that you need to wait at least 20 min.

The staff. We had a small anniversary party and Eduardo helped set up and made sure we had everything we needed even though he was very busy. His English and French were incredible.
Rooms were fine, but very small. While the hotel was on the Camino, it wasn’t a very convenient place.

Great staff, worked hard to satisfy their guests. Very good location. Decent breakfast.
Tiny room, bed took up the entire room, hard to move around without knocking into furniture. Tiny shower with tiny bars of soap and shampoo.
