good.

Outstanding breakfast, The location was ideal about 15 minutes from the center of town, so quiet that you can sleep with the window open. Great pool. Dinner was very good and on the terrace which was pleasant. Very easy parking
The shower did not drain and was not fixed even after we reported it.
Need to keep your eyes open for the entrance to the hotel driveway or you will miss it.

An incredible property set close to the most amazing city of Aix-en-Provence. From the initial welcome at reception to our departure we were continually wowed. Small gestures made our stay the most memorable, from the welcome letter in our room with sweet treats, to the offer of a take-away coffee at departure (we didn't have time for breakfast :-() to everything in-between, I couldn't recommend this hotel enough. The location is perfect (only a 10 minute, delightful walk to the centre of town), the grounds are immaculate (we went for a wander in the gardens and it was like attending an art exhibition too!), the decor is out of this world, the food in the restaurant is sublime, the bed linen makes you feel like you're sleeping in heaven (hands down the softest I've ever known, we all commented on it!) and the staff are all extremely helpful and polite. I didn't want to leave!
Everything was wonderful.

Everything was just perfect. The place is spectacular. The staff is great, helpful and friendly. The rooms, bathrooms and common areas are not only beautiful but super comfortable and cosy. The location is great since you are 5 minutes walk to the city centre but in a very tranquil area, far from the noise of cars and people. Ample and comfortable parking is also wonderfully convenient. The atmosphere is magic.
The restaurant's food is not what you would expect in a place like Villa Gallici and for the price you pay. The menu is quite limited, the food often comes lukewarm, it's quite good but not special (with the exception of the bisque), there is no wine list and no choice for wine by glass. There is no sommelier to guide you through the wines choice, despite the amazing cellar the hotel has, nor the waiter act as one. Drinks come late, after the starters are on the table and you often have to pour your own drink despite the bottle is not even on the table. In a place which is spectacular, this area could do with some improvements. It did not spoil our stay, but it could have certainly improved since we stayed 4 nights.

Beautiful hotel. We stayed here for two days and it exceeded our expectations. Our room was upgraded to a villa and the service from all the staff members was impeccable and friendly. Beautiful rooms and grounds and the terrace for breakfast is spectacular. Would be pleased to come back here soon to spend some more beautiful days in this gem. It is pricey, but well worth it.

I've seen many 5-star hotels that should have been 4 stars. This is not one of them. It was exceptional, and elegant, and physically beautiful. The room was wonderful, the service was excellent and helpful, the breakfast and dinner in the restaurant was Michelin quality, and the decor was, well, over the top, but in a pleasant way.
I'm usually not without criticisms, but I can't think of any for this place.

As soon as we entered Villa Gallici we felt its beauty through its welcoming staff especially Aaisa, it felt like we were visiting family, so heartwarming. Early check in and a room upgrade were instantly granted. The manager, Laurent always wore a genuine smile, which made our stay so worthwhile. Absolutely stunning decor and furniture pieces. The rooms and communal spaces were immaculate and well laid out for one to spend a restful stay without the need to go out, Camelia in housekeeping was always on board to ensure everything was in place and to perfection. Exceptional breakfast with a wide choice, delicious dinner with Chloe assisting us and Vincent ensuring the wine was to our taste. The Spa facilities were just as nice and clean. The grounds were freshly manicured and pristine with thought intriguing sculptures placed around the grounds. My husband brought me here for my 50th Birthday celebration, what a place! Wow! and Wow! We will definitely stay here again.
