Zentrale Lage,

Excellent environment. With famous lister. Good reception service.
A little far from city center. But still convenient.

Nice hotel at a super location for Weimar. The rooms were generally fine and very spacious. Self check-in was very convenient, since I arrived when the reception was closed. The breakfast (included in the price) was decent.
Cleanliness - although good - could be slightly improved.

Nothing not to like.

Good location, 5 mins from to town. Spacious room. Bakery and pharmacy very close. Comfortable bed. Sofa to watch TV.
Trying to find street parking was not so easy and the parking signs not so clear. Fortunately we found a space right outside hotel which turned out to be free. There is a parking garage with limited space for 11€/night.

The rooms are large and spacious, the breakfast is nice and the staff was accommodating of special dietary needs, the location is good.
The bed was fine but could have been more comfortable, much of the furniture is rather old, and the whole hotel has a very outdated feel. On Sunday, the breakfast only opened at 8 am and there was no fresh coffee available beforehand.

The room was very spacious and the staff very helpful.
The staircase could be a little cosier but this is not changing anything about my good overall impression.

We stayed at another hotel because our reservation had not been registered (despite us getting a booking conformation). We discovered this on the day of arrival. Initially the hotel offered only apologies, but during the day the staff were helpful in finding another place in Weimar. This place was actually a good hotel where we had a pleasant stay.
The fact that we, despite paying in advance and getting a confirmation from Booking.com, could not stay at the hotel. The reason seemed to be a discrepancy between the system of the hotel and that of Booking.com. But as a client, I am not interested in explanations about technical reasons behind this. When you are busy travelling from Poland to Germany by train, it is very unconvenient to hear that you do not have a hotel to stay in and perhaps having to pay for an additional place elsewhere.

Spacious room, free coffee and tea around the clock, very close to the city center (5 min walk)
rather old hotel (scary elevator that drops when it stops), blinds let light into the room, no air conditioning
