Uitmuntend hotel!

Personeel is enorm vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het hotel is erg goed onderhouden en ook erg schoon. De ambiance in het hotel is uniek te noemen en niet snel elders te ervaren. De sauna, zwembad en wellness is van absolute meerwaarde voor het hotel, ook deze is erg netjes, schoon en verzorgd.

Er is eigenlijk niet veel verbetering mogelijk. Mocht er een puntje zijn dan zijn de bedden wellicht toe aan vervanging. Ze zijn niet super comfortabel, iets wat je wel verwacht bij een 5 sterren hotel. Oja, de kussens zijn echt te dun om comfortabel op te slapen.

Like a fairy tale

As soon as you drive up driveway, you feel like being in a fairy tale. A castle-like appearance, clean cut grass, flowers, ... you almost expect birds landing on your arm and singing you a song. The staff may have been the friendliest I ever encountered in a hotel in Germany. The front desk, the cleaning staff, the spa, the restaurant, the bar - everyone was more than friendly. The rooms were quite big, with comfy beds and there was no noise at all. The gym was equipped enough. My colleague was happy with the sauna and we only took a glimpse at the bathing area, which was open around the clock. If we have had more time, we definitely would have tried it. The restaurant was very good, as was the breakfast. The barkeeper talked with us almost an hour after the bar was closed. One more example for the extremely freindly staff. If I ever visit Rotenburg again, I'm going to stay in this hotel again.

I would have loved to have an AC. It wasn't too hot but I can imagine it being quite warm in the middle of summer.

Beautiful luxury hotel for a romantic weekend getaway.

The ambiance of the hotel is amazing. It is super cozy. The rooms are beautiful. The pool area is really nice and the food is delicious. The staff has always been super attentive. Great place for a romantic weekend getaway!

The hotel was a bit too warm in general, which put us in a sleepy mood most of the time, but it is maybe just us. Another thing was the strong food smell inside the hotel at times, I think it can be better ventilated.

Loved it!

First of all, WOW. Photos online don’t do the hotel justice. It is stunning. We arrived in a taxi and before we could even get out the hotel receptionist already had our bags out of the car and into the hotel. Staff were so lovely and went above and beyond. Anything you needed they were more than happy to help. The sauna and the pool were amazing features! I Could not say a bad word about the overall experience

Great stop on the way to/from north Europe to Luxembourg

Great breakfast! They even brought a fresh waffle for my son. Swimming pool is nice and big, enough for a leisurely swim. I traveled alone with my 1,5 year old, the staff couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful. He even got his own little bathrobe.

The room was too hot; when I mentioned it to the receptionist she told me that I should have switched on the air condition. This is not a healthy option for a 1,5 year old! The room was also not the most quiet one since it happened to be right above the back door where the staff went in and out throwing out bottles etc after closing the restaurant.

Great stay with some room for improvements

Great Hotel. Very friendly staff and splendly renewed and redesigned rooms. Great hideaway for a few days to escape the stress of day to day life. The restaurant is also very nice for dinner and breakfast is great.

During our stay very small kids were around. Not too noisy but well for Valentinesday you just feel like escaping normal life :) . Overall the hotel lacks a certain maintenance in specific areas (terrasses are full of green, no evergreen plants on the terrasses, no soap in the spa area, some watertap's in the spa are not working properly. All in itself not a big deal but in the sum for a 5star hotel something to chek into. Also the room we booked initially was way out of standard range for 2022 and we were very happy we could upgrade to a modern room which are really nice. Sad we had to pay for the upgrade... The room we booked initially should not even be available in such a hotel irrespective of the price (small, bad matrasse, very old bathroom design, ...).

Superb

Very welcoming staff, well maintained, spacious rooms as well as commons areas. Excellent breakfast and extensive winelist.

Some rooms are upgraded to "boutique", which means Rainshowers, larger tv's and coffeemachines, the other rooms lack these features. In my opinion this should be the common standard is this kind of hotels.
