The whole lot of us love the hotel. We wishes we have more nights staying there.

Hotel with very friendly staffs. Clean room with comfortable bed, pillow & duvet cover. Nice environment. I think the swimming pool is a heated pool, nice to swim in.

Meals are charged by room. We have 4 rooms in the same booking but there was a communication breakdown when making the payment for the meals as the staff did not state clearly that there are 4 separate payment to be made. Is it a nostalgic thing to use the old key lock? It is kinda not easy to use the key to lock & unlock the door.

Un paradiso!

Hotel incantevole progettato da Geoffry Bawa (l’architetto srilankese di fama mondiale) e ristrutturato dalla KK in maniera esemplare… camere splendide, giardini, piscina, reception… tutto eccezionale! L’albergo ha solo 15 camere e l’atmosfera è familiare, una dimensione perfetta per rilassarsi e trovare il proprio angolo di pace. Il massaggio che ho provato è stato fantastico, ottima la cucina e il servizio. I binari del treno che ti separano dalla spiaggia sono una particolarità che abbiamo apprezzato molto, il tratto di spiaggia su cui si affaccia è bellissimo, la voglia di fare due passi sulla ferrovia irrefrenabile!

Amazing place, you won't be disappointed.

This was our forth or five visit to the hotel, we hadn't been in a few years and it really is just as good and well managed and kept as years gone by. The property is so well maintained, you can tell the staff are passionate about what they offer and they all pitch in to get things done. The rooms are amazing, the staff are friendly and the food was extremely good. The chef was very helpful with the dietary needs of our daughter and it was really appreciated from our side.

The wi-fi could be a little stronger in areas, but to be honest it was nice not to always be online!

A great resort. It just needs to make a few improvements

Really lovely suite - spacious and comfortable with a beautiful outdoor area.

Didn’t like the evening menu selection. Also, there was no manicure or pedicure service, even though it was on the spa list.

It was a great short break and I will certainly return to Sri Lanka and stay at the villa

Breakfast was included in our rate and was nice, the coffee is very good. We ate dinner in the hotel twice in our four night stay and it was very tasty. The beach was beautiful and most days had no one around. Only sad thing was the plastic being washed up.

The only thing we didn't like was that we couldn't extend our stay for a fifth night because they were fully booked 😉

A fantastic boutique hotel with friendly and attentive staff

The Villa is a fairytale adventure in itself. The room was fantastic and cleaned twice a day with new towel animals provided every day :):) Staff and management were very attentive and cared for your wellbeing. Breakfast was great and there was a great variety on the menu card for lunch and dinner. All the stuff we tried was very tasty.

Perfext place for a relaxing few days

the best bed we have ever slept in! Luxury and comfort beyond belief really good aircon lovely big shower excellent fridge - actually gets cold which is so rare for hotels good wifi - everyone gets their own router good pool area lovely style and feel we spent the last two days of our holiday here

beer and food was expensive for Sri Lanka lots of mosquitos there - not their fault and they try to help with oils and citronella but worth noting for people who struggle the area - not much around it the breakfast/restaurant area is just not that great. choose to eat in the bar which is lovely

Unfortunately the food on our first day was disgusting, the chef was away for new year. clearly whoever was cook had no idea. the train line is at the bottom of the garden before the beach, you get several noisy trains each day, but get used to it.

Beautiful Resting Nest

This is an absolute gem of a boutique hotel with 15 rooms and suites to suite all pockets. We were very fortunate to have a small suite with an amazingly comfortable four poster bed and ample storage. The close proximity of the beach is very convenient for exploring the area, and not overly busy. Breakfast was served facing the excellent grounds of the hotel.

Quite beautiful & calm in its decor and layout but the food & service need finessing.

Architecture is beautiful, decor & gardens tasteful & well maintained.

Distance from the beach, the food was not as good as I’d hoped. Breakfast on the first morning was self service & as a result had been left unattended for a while. The arrangements did changed after that. The only lunch we had was poor.

Warm and Inviting !

It's a Geoffrey Bawa property so it was beautiful.....serene and peaceful like being invited into a friend's home ......George the new owner has a very good eye for detail and has made the property a lot more cheerful n lively compared to what it was .......

Location is a bit difficult to find ....especially if your driving in at night .....other than that it was fabulous !

Superb

Our rooms were very spacious with a balcony. The main pool was lovely for a dip in the evening. Staff were attentive and friendly. Overall a very good experience.

Breakfast was decent. The beach was insanely beautiful. The property was equally stunning!

Breakfast wasn't a buffet , and had only two options. However both options were tasty.
