The hotel's atmosphere is a bit more like a bed & breakfast, with a very friendly staff and great opportunities to meet other guests. The rooms (all ground level) surround a pretty courtyard with several covered seating areas to bring a take-out lunch or just relax outside. The property is very well-maintained and the free wifi is excellent! The rooms are serviced every day and the hot water pressure in the shower is very good. Note that if you are looking for a very fancy place with nightly fold-down service and a chocolate mint on your pillow, then this is not the right hotel for you.
I highly recommend Alejandro's tours to various parts of the island.
The location in the middle of Hanga Roa is very convenient, with a less than 10 minute walk to the harbor and only about 20 to 25 minutes to the Tahai moai sunset location which you must visit at least once.
Overall, I highly recommend the Inaki Uhi hotel !!!

Fantastic welcoming hosts who really care about their guests, would definitely return!

Such a wonderful stay at Inaki Uhi, the beds are very comfortable and the showers are nice and big with good water pressure. What really made this place great was the wonderful staff, from the moment you arrive they treat you like family. I will definitely stay here again when I come back to Rapa Nui! If you want AC and TV in your room you need to book the suite.

I had an incredible stay at Inaki Uhi! From the moment I arrived at the airport, you could feel their warmth. The team is incredibly friendly and made me feel right at home. They helped me coordinate two tours, one that included an incredible trek through a cave that was really beautiful and transformative. The location, hospitality, and care that Ivonne, Karina, and Alejandro provide is unique and one of kind. ¡Māuru-uru!

The location was fantastic. The wifi was great (they use Starlink). The hospitality was amazing. Alex was there for anything I needed and will take you on tours as well. The hotel exceeded my expectations and made me feel so welcome in Rapa Nui.
There wasn't anything I disliked. When you go to Easter Island you have to have the right expectations of what you're going to get. The hotel exceeded those expectations and there was nothing I didn't like.

From the detailed instructions sent after we made the reservation, to the airport pickup and the wonderful and friendly staff, everything about the Inaki Uhi was fantastic. Highly recommend this to anyone visiting Easter Island.
Special thank you to Ivonne, Alejandro and Alvaro for their hospitality

great location and awesome staff!
WiFi is very slow, but that is the whole island and not the hotel’s fault.

The owner of the hotel is very kind and attentive to any remarks and requests. When I complained about the temperature of my room during the first day, I got an upgrade to a bigger room with air conditioning. The room was nice and well equipped (tv, fridge etc). The hotel also organises the pick up from and back to the airport. However, I was not informed about it before my arrival, so I took a taxi once landed. The owner also offered a quick tour of the city upon my arrival in the hotel, which was very well appreciated. The place is centrally located, with an easy access to the small beaches with turtles, shops, restaurants and bars. Finally, important to note: I had a conference call at 4am with Europe and internet connection worked very well despite remoteness of the island and very bad weather at that time. Internet reached the room and was pretty stable during my stay.
I'm grateful for the upgrade, but I would have appreciated the staff to ask me first if they could transfer my belongings to the other room before doing it in their own.

1. free airport pickup and dropoff; 2. location very safe and on the main road, close to everything including the beach; 3. responsive staff before the trip who recommended a really good travel agency to me so I got to book a few group tours via email (can only find private tours online which are very very expensive) which definitely saved me a lot of money; 4. nice garden and common area with a water bottle; 5. functional kitchen; 6. shower has good water pressure and temperature, the room is quite spacious, and there's also a safe
front desk is often empty, bit hard to find staff when you need something, but manager's number is on the window so you can always call or WhatsApp her

4.5
Great location, close to everything on the main road, including delicious empañadas next door. Communication was super efficient from the time of booking. Yvonna is very sweet. Alvaro Jr gives tours with personal insights from his family history, it was a very nice day trip.
The room is very clean and comfy, felt like home. The terrasse in front of the rooms is lovely too.
There is music in the background every night (a pub in front of the hotel) and every early morning (bakery next door). Not so loud that you can't sleep but since Hanga Roa is so small, sensitive ones may prefer staying a bit further from the centre.
Didn't have hot water, I didn't complain though as it was ok for me, but for the price paid..

I enjoyed my stay in the hotel a lot!!! Ivonne, the hotel owner, is a very nice lady, always smiling, patient and kind. She made me feel so welcome staying here. Besides, the hotel is in the center of the town, 15min walk to Ahu Tahai as well as nice restaurants (eg Te Moana), and 5min walk to tourist information center for the national park ticket. The room itself is clean and comfortable, particularly the lovely garden where I always played with Huana (a big lovely dog). Hope she makes friends with other tourists after I left.
I would stay here again for sure next time traveling to Rapa Nui.
Everything is perfect!
