Amazing place, value for our money

The staff was very friendly and it was quiet, just what we needed for a weekend staycation. The weather was not that great would have loved to use their pool as it was clean.

I love this Guest House.

The Garden it's so beautiful

Still using keys for doors and security could be an issue, especially at night

Small rooms

The staff is very nice, friendly and helpful from the reception to the cleaners.

The room was very small, smaller than it looked in the pictures. Didn't realize that the shower/bath had dirty water at our arrival until it was time to use it, that was an unpleasant experience. The aircon didn't seem to do the right job, it was very cold. No one came in to clean/tidy up the room throughout our 3 night stay which we found odd. The pool was very small and placed right next to the road, very intimidating to use so we didn't bother

Great place in Joburg!

The staff was verg friendly and very helpful. They knew some nice spots in Joburg that we wouldn't have found without them. The place was kept clean and the breakfast was simple but delicious.

The only thing that comes to mind is that the information folder in the room concerning breakfast wasn't up to date.

Friendly hosts with a promising accommodation.

The staff was very friendly and accommodative, the breakfast was good and their rooms were spacious. With some improvements this place can do better.

The parking is not easy to access and cleaning in rooms could use some improvement.

Just another experience

The room was clean, and the aircon was a pleasure

The bathroom had a door totally exposed to the window of the building next door. No curtain or anything to grant me privacy from the neighbours. The breakfast was very basic, and staff is inexperienced. Had to ask for butter. Had to take salt and pepper from another table ...... inexperience

We had an exceptional time here, the staff are so friendly and the place is absolutley beautiful.

The whole experience was amazing, we liked everything about it. They found out it was our wedding day and went to every stop to make our stay extra special. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. It is definitely a hidden gem, you walk through a peaceful, waterfall garden to find your room. We will be returning!

The guy that worked there helped us so much!! Helped us with buying a sim card and gave us many many tips! Good bed! Super friendly people! Many restaurants in the street! Good wifi Nice garden!

Very nice and convenient spot for a group of friends on holiday. Loved the property and all the facilities they had, totally recommend this place if you wanna stay indoors or be out and about. My friend and I had the best Easter weekend 💯

Location was good. Liked the property - eclectic, charming. Staff were super.

Really captures the Melville spirit, great place to stay

Great location, staff was very friendly and flexible, really appreciate it! Beautiful little garden gives some space to chill, while also being a 2 min walk from the highlights of Melville. The house is a bit old, but very well decorated and kept pristinely clean, really catching the beauty of Melville. Also an absolutely great breakfast!

Some parts of the location are a bit dated and noisy due to that, but because it's just off the main street, it's still a very peaceful place. Couldn't recommend enough

Oooo so much! service was amazing, location was perfect, the room was really nice, courtyard was pretty.

shower could be temperamental, but there is a bath as well which is nice :D

Parking is the big turn-off

The room and bathroom were big, comfortable and clean.

Their parking space is awkward and highly inadequate. Although booked for bed and breakfast, they were not ready to provide breakfast

Great place to visit

The day staff were so friendly and helpful. Sadly we had a water outage at the time but the staff provided all that was needed to ensure that we still had a good trip. The guesthouse is also in a prime location with many attractions nearby.

Unfortunately, the area was experiencing both loadshedding and watershedding at the time of our stay but that was not in the control of the guest house.
