About this apartment rental
Enjoy your stay in a truly luxurious air-conditioned apartment located in a safe gated community in the heart of Los Boliches, no more than a 2 minute walk from the train station and 3-5 minutes from the prestine Fuengirola beach, shops and buzzing restaurants. This apartment has been fitted to a high standard throughout and includes your at home comforts, while on holiday.
The apartment is on the first floor and is accessible by both a lift and stairs. It comfortably sleeps 4 with 2 bedrooms (one with an en-suite) which is configurable from 1 double bed, and 2 single beds + a fold-up sofa bed in the living room. There is a large balcony with a table and chairs ideal for eating/relaxing while enjoying the sun. The balcony features a glass enclosure which can be closed to limit wind and noise.
The large grass-verged communal swimming pool is available to use by guests from April to the end of September, and we provide sun loungers and beach equipment for guests to use during their stay.
For those with a car, free parking is available on the local nearby streets (not apartment parking) and the apartment is serviced with fast fibre internet/Wi-Fi.

We were a group of three elderly friends, one of whom had mobility issues. The location was ideal for our purposes: right in the centre of Los Boliches within a few minutes of reastaurants, shops and nightlife. Beautiful, bright, spacious and tastefully decorated modern apartment with a well equipped kitchen and super bathrooms. We've visited Fuengirola twice a year for over 12 years and this was easily our best stay. Beats staying in hotels for price and comfort.

John's apartment is perfectly located for a lovely holiday in Los Boliches. Beach is a 3 minute walk away, there are a whole host of bars, restaurants and shops right on your doorstep. Fuengirola is a 20 minute walk away if you're looking for a stretch or you can take the train which is approx 3 minutes walk away. The train also allows easy access to airport, Malaga Centre, Torremolinos, Benelmadena, etc. The apartment itself is lovely, clean, modern, nice pool which is open till 10pm during high season! John, the owner, was very easy to deal with and very responsive. The apartment manager is just a phone call away and extremely helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this property.

Very clean apartment in downtown Los Boliches. The train is minutes away, walking. Nice bakeries, restaurants and bars with live music. The beach is 5 minutes walk. No need for a car because of easy transportation. The apartment has everything you need for cooking and also beach chairs. The pool wasn’t open but when you have such a nice beach, that’s all you need. The bathrooms were modern and clean. The patio has windows all around, so warmer to chill in the winter months.

Los Boliches June 22
The apartment is ideally situated near the train line to the airport , the beach and lots of great restaurants, bars and shops . There was a bit of noise in the evening but it didn’t spoil our stay and to be expected when you stay in the middle of the resort. The bathrooms have been refurbished as has the kitchen . The showers were great and it was handy to have a washing machine also .
We spent our time around the pool and more often than not we had it to ourselves .To summarise a lovely apartment with a communal pool in a great location in the middle of a fab resort .

Great apartment . Fantastic location
We booked this apartment very last minute and I was so glad we did . John the owner contacted me quickly after the booking and explained directions to the apartment and the check in process. We were met at the apartment and check in was easy . The apartment itself is lovely very clean and modern . The two bathrooms were great as we were a party of three. The location couldn't be better for Los Boliches Station which we used to travel up to Malaga and a few of the adjacent towns. And a simple transfer from the airport on the train too. The pool was great too very quiet and there were deck chairs available from the apartment. Overall thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if you are looking for a great base to explore Los Boliches and beyond I'd thoroughly recommend this place . 5 stars

Ideal apartment in Los Boliches
The apartment is very clean and comfortable with everything you need during your stay. The location is brilliant with the train station and beach only minutes walk away. Plenty of great cafes, bars and restaurants surrounding the apartment also. Look forward to visiting again.

Wow just wow
Property is fantastic , very clean and spacious ,any issues are dealt immediately, everything u can think is there in the flat for u to use.The balcony is huge , it is a great place to sit an watch the world go by , even if its raining as it is completely enclosed, on hot days u just open the windows .We sat on balcony most nights .The apartment is in very secure block , I felt very safe being on my own for a week.Supermarkets, shops just 2 minutes away. Train station less than 2 minute walk . John kept in contact with us , to ensure we were enjoying the apartment .The showers in both bathrooms are brilliant, they are a great size , plenty of hot water. When gas needed to be changed I just called Ewelyn who looks after flat and she came round and did it all for us.My sons came out an stayed at different times as we were here for several weeks , Definitely look at returning. Thanks John .

Don Luis apartment
Central location with very good transport links. Well equipped with excellent WiFi. Nice pool area with beach equipment available. Could have done with second key as it meant no one could go out independently . Very convenient for several supermarkets and market and shopping trolley very handy.

Superb Apartment
We have just stayed as a family of 4 at this apartment, which is within the Don Luis complex of Los Boliches (1 short train stop before Fuengirola) for just over a week. This was our first venture into the Costa Del Sol but John the owner was incredibly informative and most helpful upon where to eat and what to visit etc. which was very re-assuring for new visitors.
As for the apartment it had everything we could possibly need and it has been kept to a high standard. It is securely located inside a gated community, so only those with a key can gain access to the accommodation block and the pool is also secured behind a lockable gate. It's position was perfect for us, as everything from trains, buses, shops, restaurants and most importantly the sandy beach, is within easy walking distance. The trains do run close by to the Don Luis complex, however they are very quiet and they do not disturb the peace at night, so there are no issues there.
I could probably go on forever about how much we enjoyed ourselves and how great the area was to us but I shall stop here and just say "go and see it for yourselves you will not be disappointed!!" We are already talking about going back next year.

Very comfortable and great location
Just returned from a 4 week stay at the Don Luis. The apartment was well-equipped, spotlessly clean with a great location. The restaurants, the supermarkets and train station are at your doorstep.
Above all, the owner John, really cares about his guests. He does everything to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. We hopefully be returning.

Beautiful apartment in great location.
We have just returned from a 2 week stay in this beautiful apartment in Los Boliches. The location was perfect, 2 minutes from beach, restaurants, supermarket and train station. The property was so well equiped with everything you could possibly need. John the owner was most helpful with recommendations for restaurants and places to visit and only a phone call away should any problem arise. Lovely Apartment
My husband and i have just returned from a 5 week stay in John's apartment.The location is superb , so near everything and being near the train station is a bonus. The apartment is nicely decorated and spacious, the kitchen has everything you need and the enclosed balcony is great.
Had a problem whilst we were there with the tv but John managed to get this sorted for us promptly and kept us informed, nothing was too much trouble, which is what you need when you are staying for a few weeks.
We would certainly stay here again with no hesitation.Thanks once again John, you have a little gem there!

A lovely apartment in a great area.
My family and I stayed at John’s apartment in mid-September, 2018. The location is great, very close to the train station (though not close enough to be disturbed by noise), great restaurants and the beach. The apartment is big, clean and had everything we need to have a really relaxing and fun stay. John was great – giving directions and help, and recommended places to eat. I would really recommend this apartment to anyone considering a stay in the Fuengirola area. Los Boliches is a nice family area with plenty going on and great transport links.

Great apartment in a central location
If you choose to stay here you won’t be disappointed. Lovely apartment with modern bathrooms and kitchen. Close to all amenities, shops, restaurants, train station and beach all within a couple of minutes walk. The pool area was clean and quiet with well tended gardens.
The apartment’s close proximity to the train station made the journey from Malaga Airport to Los Boliches so easy, trains run every 20 mins from 6am to midnight and a ticket only costs 2.70 euros.

Fantastic Apartment with a great pool and perfect location.
If you are looking for a hassle free holiday this is the place to go.We stayed here for a week with our two children (10&7) and we had an absolutely fantastic time.Location was perfect, less than a 5 minute walk to the beach.You don't have to travel far from this apartment if you don't want too as there are some lovely restaurants/cafes & bakeries all around.The pool and the pool area are kept to a very high standard.The apartment it self is also kept to a very high standard as it has been only recently refurbished. I couldn't recommend this area (Los Boliches) or this apartment enough we will definitely be back.

The first thing to say is how easy it is to get to Los Boliches. There is an excellent train service form the airport which sends 3 (airconditioned) trains/hour along the coast. The Don Luis complex is literally a few minutes from the station and is a far cheaper way of getting there than a taxi.
The complex itself is clean and well kept and features an excellent pool, which, despite the size of the complex never got too busy. It's a pleasant setting and fun for children and adults alike with a decent deep end for diving as well as a shallow end for younger children. The whole complex and pool are also gated for security.
The flat in the main is excellent with a couple of niggles. The 2 bathrooms are modern shower rooms and are excellent. The kitchen also is very modern and well equiped featuring an induction hob. The main living room is also a good size and has a TV with a few English channels and a DVD player and there is also a balcony with a table and chairs. There is also an fantastic array of beach equipment here to use, including chairs, loungers, parasols and floats and a shopping trolley to help lug it all down there. This was a huge bonus for us, and we were very glad of the provision of a wider range of things to take to the beach.
The two bedrooms both have 2 x single beds in them which was a surprise. At least one double would have been preferable. There is also a fold out bed which wouldn't fit in the rooms but is easily deployed in the lounge which is what we did. They are not hugely comfortable but not poor by any means. The main thing to say here is that one bedroom has A/C and one does not. And although every effort is made with a ceiling fan and separate room fan in the second bedroom, it is still very hot in there at night. Admittedly we were there in the middle of August so it may be more comfortable at other times.
The complex is set in the heart of Los Boliches, and is only a 5 minute walk to the beach. The immediate surroundings are a rich mixture of restaurants and bars and there is also a supermarket close by so it is easily possible to eat in or out every night and should suit every budget. It's not as buzzy as the nearby Fuengirola but that suited us as 3 adults and 2 children aged 12 & 9.
The beach is gorgeous although plagued with jellyfish for half of our stay so get clued in on what to do when stung! (Definitely don't do the wee thing!)
Finally John the owner is always on hand and very helpful.

Little Gem !
Just got back from a 5 day stay in Johns apartment.The apartment is ideally located for everything,train station 300 yards away,supermarket 350yards away,beach and an abundance of places to eat and drink less than 5 minutes away ! The apartment has recently been refurbished with the kitchen and bathrooms very well done(rainfall shower is superb).My only criticism would be the lack of an aircon unit in the front bedroom(there are a couple of fans in there though),however,this apart I would have no hesitation in recommending this apartment to anyone !

Perfect place to stay in Los Boliches
We spent 2 lovely weeks in John's apartment: perfect location (just outside the train station, next to the market and a large supermarket, about 100m walk to the beach, close to lots of restaurants and shops), very well equipped kitchen (we just used it to make breakfast, but it does have everything you need to do more serious cooking, if you get tempted by the fresh produce & seafood in the next-door market), great balcony for breakfast and overall very nice layout of the apartment. We liked that the 2 bedrooms (and their corresponding bathrooms) were separated by the hallway, as this feature ensured that each bedroom can maintain a separate sleeping routine :) (quite important when you have a 5-year old waking up at 7 a.m. with a desire to sing...). The pool and garden area are very well maintained and we used it almost daily, as the sea was still pretty cold in the beginning of June. John was extremely helpful, responded promptly to any question we asked over email (literally in just seconds) and he also recommended some great restaurants around the area.
If you have a car, it's good to know there are plenty of parking places available on the street behind the property, plus an underground parking. Los Boliches is also a good base for 1-day trips to other Andalusian attractions - we hired a car and went to Malaga, Cordoba, Granada and its splendid Alhambra Castle and Ronda, each visited as light 1-day trips.

Best location possible!
Really enjoyed the apartment! Relatively quiet location, but truly accessible to everything. Beach, train, bus, supermarket, restaurants, bakeries, pharmacy, etc etc etc.
The only real noise came from the dance lessons in the building across the street every afternoon. Interesting to watch people leaning Flamenco!
The apartment had everything we could have needed and great AC for sleeping at night.
Would definitely recommend this place to others!

Just back from a lovely weeks holidays in this apartment, spotlessly clean, two minutes from train, five minutes to beach, very quiet, very central, perfect holiday apartment.

On arrival we found that the cleanliness of the beds was not up to our standard. I spoke to the owner and the issue was resolved very quickly with pillows being replaced the next day.The apartment has plenty of towels sheets etc so we had no problem with that. The cooker and microwave are both fairly new but instructions for both would have been useful.
The Apartment is roomy and well laid out. The Renfe train service from Los Boliches is excellent except when they call a strike at short notice! as we experienced once during our stay. The restaurants nearby are excellent. We had a very good holiday despite the weather not being very good and a few issues mentioned.

What a great appartment so fresh, clean and user friendly. We loved it from the minute we walked in.
The apartment was lovely. It was comfortable, clean had English TV everything you needed. You could sit on the balcony watching the world go by or have your breakfast. The location could not have been better. All amenities were within walking distances. I would strongly recommend this property

Our family and our friend had a fantastic vacation at this property. John Hillman and his assistant Evelyn were very helpful and pleasant.
