The gardens were pretty and the room was relatively clean, with AC and a fan. One staff member (a tall waiter in the restaurant) was friendly
The pool was unclean. Almost all of the staff were unwelcoming and made us feel like we were inconveniencing them by making them do their jobs! We repeatedly had to walk to the bar when we wanted serving in the restaurant, only to find a group of them there on their phones! We even had to clean our own plates once as we were completely forgotten about and wanted the table to be clear so we could work at it. The hotel felt tired and in need of care.

Very nice setting in sort of botanical garden and pond, hence the name. Lots of plants, birds, and crocodiles. Room very good, spacy.
It is an exciting location (crocodile pond, swimming pool) so every now and then noisy guest - more adolescent hemales than kids. Cannot blame the management for that.
Room windows not so easy to open to use natural draft to cool the temperature in the room.

The restaurant sits on a lake and I believe there was a crocodile park near the hotel. Great for people looking for such experiences.
The rooms were old and below standard compared to some of the cheaper options in cape coast. The property also is also not on the ocean front ( which was not clear to me when booking). Not suitable for toddlers since access to the lake is not blocked and the property literally sits on the lake.

I liked the environment and the staff.
Their breakfast was good too.
There was no door from the bedroom to the bathroom and toilet which I found not too good for a room as what I had paid for. The entrance was just a plain glass door so you had to pull the curtains to cover your room.

I loved the room! It was comfortable and clean and met my expectations. I really enjoyed the crocodile tour as well, the tour guide was sensational and so engaging. Generally, I had the calm trip I expected. Though I was only there for a night.
I felt that there could have been more variety at the breakfast table and I didn’t expect my quantity to be limited as well.

This is one of the best places in Cape Coast. You are in a beautiful surroundings and the staff is super friendly. They know a lot about crocodiles and can give you a tour. There are 19 crocodiles in the lake surrounding this place. They also offer amazing massage services.
The breakfast was very basic:omellette with toast bread and coffee/tea. For the price you pay, they should offer at least fresh jouice and fruit. The pool was semi-clean,so I didn't dive in, which was a pity.

Internet/wifi is a bit erratic

The staff were lovely, it was interesting listening to the birds and I was fortunate to see a crocodile raise up out of the water
Unfortunately we couldn't use the shower as there was an exposed wire covered up with tape off the unit, too dangerous to use 😕

We stayed only for a weekend - but that was enough. Normally I do not like to write "bad" reviews, because they remind me on places I did not really like to stay. The breakfast was okay, although somehow "rationed" - but - if you order an Orange Juice together with your breakfast - and the Orange Juice finally arrives when you finished your breakfast, then you know that "speed" is not really a word that can be connected to the Kitchen and its Staff.
The Staff was not really motivated (slight understatement) - we had dinner on the two evenings we stayed there - and - as we do this out of curiosity - we stopped the time from the moment we made the order - in both caes we waited for more than 50min (52min, respectively 56min) - Felix is a wonderful waiter (friendly, dilligent, motivated - all one can wish for) but, when the rest of the Staff and the Kitchen personal is so slow (as they were) then the best waiter is doomed to live with guests/customers that are not really happy. When we arrived we asked for a prolongation cable with multiple plugs (for Laptop, Charger, Camera equipment, etc.) - nothing came, nothing happened and the request was ignored. The hot water in our shower stopped working on the first evening - we did not really mind it, because on the next day we wanted to make a tour tothe Kakum National Park (that's really worth it - do the Canopy Walk!) - so, we wre happy on our return to have a cold shower ;-( - electrical wirings in the room were "adventurous to dangerous" (Pictures follow) - the door handle of our room was broken off - we had to stick it into the door every time again, when we wanted to leave the room - the place, although not too big in itself, seems to big for the personaly to keep it in good shape - the Kids playground was strange - the "Wellness/Spa" section was not working - the Tennis courts looked more like a maneuvre ground - okay, let's leave it by this, and not start to write a peperback book - the price-performance ratio is definitely at odds - sorry to say - we won't return.

The environment was really beautiful. Having access to the crocodiles and actually touching them was just amazing. Watching the birds was also cul.
The staff were also pleasant and very heplfu.
Again, the facility was very clean.
The room was just too basic, bed was not too comfortable and food was average

I loved the fact that the botel in itself was a place you could see crocodiles. Eating in the restaurant by the pond was always an adventure to actually see if you could spot one of them.
The food service was a bit slow, and the variety on their meals wasn't the best.
