The apartment was ideally placed close to the sea and the shopping and restaurant areas. The apartment was clean and well equipped and had a large balcony. The air conditioning worked.
I did not like having to move into three separate apartments until one could be found with hot water! Each apartment has its own boiler. The manager was not pleasant and tried to fob us off with a story that he would get a plumber. Not knowing how long this would take and the prospect of several days of cold showers I insisted on another apartment. There was no hot water in the second apartment, same boiler problem. The third apartment had hot water in the bathroom but not the kitchen. We settled for that. The manager was grumpy and tried to blamed us because he now had to have two boilers fixed!
Also note that all the electrics are switched off on the Distribution board (Fuse Box) and unless you are familiar with and confident to deal with, it could be daunting to switch them all on. Is it beyond the wit of the Manager to spend 5 minutes on the day guests are due, to go to switching the electricity on and check the boiler is working?

Great sized pool, we also had a lovely balcony view and one receptionist in particular who was so friendly and so helpful
The double bed was two singles pushed together so uncomfortable and the kettle was a health hazard my partner went to pick it up after it had boiled and burned his hand as the handle was boiling hot

The apartment was a one room with separate bathroom. It had a fully equipped kitchen [ including a full size oven] with microwave, toaster, coffee machine [paper filter type] and a large fridge. Main part of room had twin beds, large balcony. View from the balcony was directly over the large swimming pool. I cannot comment on the pool area as it seemed to be closed [I was there in November] but the maintenance man was out every morning cleaning the pool/ pool area. Security was very good, as you needed a special key to operate the lift.
On arrival, there is no indication of where this building is. I mean none. The taxi driver left me outside a building and that was it. After going up and down the area several times it ended up that I had to go in to the supermarket to ask for directions, the lady in there was obviously used to this question, she rolled her eyes and pointed to the building next door. I went in, only to be told that I needed to go to the building at the end of the street... when I got there [still no signage at all] I was met by a dour man who just handed me the keys, took my payment and then I had to go back to the first building which was where I was staying....all in all, it took over an hour and was very frustrating. The staff in the building I stayed in however were very friendly and always said hola when I was going in or out.

Good location with easy access to Cariheula
Hot water system was near useless, only had hot water for one day for a seven day trip. Myself, the Consierge and a local plumber failed to get it running. Not acceptable. The curtain liners were filthy and left a mark on clothes as if you had touched wet white paint. Noise from the Casa Juan restaurant went on until 1am. The key handover was a bit slipshod, just a porter pointing down a road to a building without explaining how you accessed the block and needed the key for the lift. The office was open Monday to Friday with no access at weekend, the porter was unable to help at the weekend when the lack of hot water for showers was reported. The Concierge was not very helpful and every effort to fix the lack of hot water failed. Only after strongly complaining as to the lack of hot water and filthy curtains did he give a 100 Euro refund.Although the room and balcony were excellent along with a great location I will not use this hotel again.

It was a very good location, less than 5 min walk to beach, bars and restaurants.
The pool was fabulous looking but to our disappointment it was closed when we were there.
Also we automatically assumed that payment for our stay would have been on arrival but when we arrived we were given an envelope with the apartment key in it.
We figured out it was the 4th floor from the letter on the key but we were ages trying to sort the lift, which also works with a key but we weren’t shown that to begin with.
Also on the second last day the owner was flapping over payment, he was on about calling police and all.
But once I went down and paid him his whole attitude changed.
I also recommended to him that he should take payment on arrival in future.
But apart from that little bit of a fiasco I really liked the apartments and would defo recommend staying in them.
