Right location wrong choice of accommodation

The location and the air conditioning

When we arrived, reception weren’t aware that we had already paid and we had to prove that we had paid in full We were shocked at how old fashioned the kitchen, Lounge and bathroom were. The kitchen looked homemade and had no kettle or microwave The bathroom looked like it had been fitted in the 1970s, the bath had scum marks on. There were blood stains on the sheets. No safe in the apartment.

Enjoyed my stay with plenty to do in the sarounding Malaga area. The purchase of a Travel card aloud me to travel around

Central for bus, train and taxis. Non any farther away than a couple of hundred yards.

In need of a little TLC.

Outdated apartments. Noisy. Pool was not even slightly heated. Hot water was non-existent in rooms.

Apartmento la Nogalerra review

The location was great, literally centre of Torremolinos and about a minute from the station. The apartment was fairly good, although was expecting 2 singles rather than a double and a sofa bed. It was fairly clean, a good kitchen (which we didn't use though) and the WiFi was good - until day 3 when an engineer came to 'update it' which actually made us unable to use it. Overall fairly good.

Wasn't aware the reception would be shut most of our stay which meant when we did have problems it was frustrating - especially as the number we rang it was tricky to communicate with as they didn't speak English (to be expected as we were in Spain!) Some of the down sides: The key for the main gate was pretty stiff so was tricky to get in, the pool was shut (not advertised on the website), the WiFi stopped working half way through the stay and the shower wasn't very intuitive to turn on - although once we were shown how (on the 3/4 day) it was good.

The pool was in bad need of repair also residents removing towls from beds and taking them the apartment was old but clean the staff were amazing considering the place was old and in need of alot of repair and updating also the pool cards didnt work 2 out of 5 worked

Tiresome and frustrating

Location was ok

Renovation work in the apartment nelow every morning at 7.45 drilling and hammering Disgraceful, when we asked to be moved we were ignored Pool pass was never issued on arrival and when it was it didn't work, had to argue with maintenance man who didn't have a word of English,then had to argue with administration office who told me come back on Monday this was Friday, disgusting Only for the fact I met a girl from England she explained my predicament and the activated the pool pass. Never again will I stay here, it caused nothing but stress every morning being woken up to drilling etc. Bad holiday

There is no better

Location was perfect.Flat very spacious and well equipped . Beautiful big Balcony.

Only thing is access to the Pool. Noone told us that we need a cards,than we needed to wait to get them,but they were not working,so needed again to exchange them . This is only thing that was a small issue on this trip. Everything else , 10 *

Location in the centre near Train station

Large apartment though old was spotlessly clean. Plenty towels and sheets. Great to have 2 bathrooms though one had a leak in the ceiling. Large balcony. Sunny in the afternoon Kitchen well stocked. Oven and hob Location right in the centre of Torremolinos Good bars and restaurants Free WiFi. Lovely pool 10 mins walk to the beach Right next to the train station. This was the reason for our choice.

Air conditioner did not work. Could have done with it as it was very hot No microwave. But didn't need one anyway No Electric kettle though did have a top of hob kettle.

Exceptional

Myself and my wife were the only ones traveling so we had a studio apartment. We decided to take our two grandchildren with us at the last minute. When we arrived there was no issues upgrading us to a bigger apartment. Town center very close as was the train. Swimming pool was great too

Great Apartment in a fabulous location

Great location so close to the train station and town centre but only 15 mins stroll to the beach. Clean well equipped apartment with plenty of plates glasses etc toaster kettle and a tea pot. Staff really helpful quick and easy checkin plus helped us with any queries we had with wifi etc. Would definitely stay here again.

The apt was lovely and clean but a little tatty here and there as you expect from a busy rental property. No microwave.

In Breakfast n/a. Location good Apartment very out of date light switches and plug sockets very out of date. Very rough door casings get splinters in hands. Dirty floor tiles. Damp patches on walls plaster falling off

The whole apartment. Should not be advertised by booking com. Always had very good bookings before this one this was awful. We stayed in another apartment in same complex approx 2 week before booked through air b&b this was beautiful and well worth the money and is why we booked this one could not compare and booking com one was moor expensive.

the location and the 1970,s block.

hot water is an issue. the water was cold first day, and never really got hot enough for me. Mean. no tea/coffee sachet, one shower gel and shampoo sachet for an adult on a 3 night stay, mean. One blanket in February...too cold had to turn heating on all night when a proper duvet would be more comfortable and less expensive for the owner and environment. The front door to the studio needs a service. If you are a light sleeper this place is not for you. Pity really the place has the potential to be spectacular but it is not. The location is great. and should the owner read this...put a bin in the bathroom, supply a bit of washing up liquid and sponge, dish cloth, time to change the towels....owners need to make it easy for guest to do the right thing.

STAY AWAY. NOT RECCOMMEND IT

We came Saturday, and nobody at the address shown on the reservation. There was a door man/conciege that gave us the key, and took our passport, and kept it until check out. We had to find the way to the apartment by ourself, and said that it first will be somebody in the office on Monday. I asked for the owners tel. nr, but he said it is not possible, and need to go to the office on Monday if something wrong. When we finally found the apartment, it was totally different from the pictures on booking.com. Old, run down, disgusting place to spent your holiday. The apartment is never been maintaince sinse built in 60s or 70s, and the furniture looks awful. We call immidiatelly booking.com as we could not call the owner, and asked to get moved from there, but they could not help us cause they couldn,t reach them either. So booking.com reccommend us to stay until Monday, just not loose our money. there was no visible sign of internet, so i guess it was not internet in the apartment, and nobody informed us about it. When we turned off the shower in the bathroom it cames dirty brown water for about 2minutes, so I guess nobody lived there for a long time. The air condition was very loud both inside or outside so you need to choise either not to sleep, or freezing if you swithed off. There was no blanket in the apartments, or something to cover you, only very tiny sheets, and it was cold in the night in torremolinos. Many things were not existing in the apartment- no dish soap, no dishcloth or whisper piece, ...I didn,t expect that it was coffe, tea or sugar, but it first time in whole my life that i booked an apartment without it. Also, dirty plates, glass and forks. Very hard bed. It shows how the management only care about the money, and not make it nice for the guests. After all, we call again booking.com and ask them for compensation from the place. They told booking.com that we are lying,but booking.com gave us right after seen our pictures

Superb

The Appartement is fantastic and worth the complication With Keys and WiFi. Directly above the Bars, but still quiet. WiFi With the given Router was great.

AC cant be Set lower than 26 degrees Celsius. Office ist Not often Open and Keys Need to be picked Up at a Concierge which is Not easily found. U Need to speak spanish, when U call him. The Concierge was so nice though that He came for me to the Office, Cuz i couldnt find the Concierge Office, which is a way through a Gate upways near the Appartments. Official Appartment Office ist on opposite side of the street than Appartements and concierge. WiFi i Got ³ days later by a Router that was let for me at the concierge

Un clean toilet moved not stuck to floor kitchen and cabinets were filthy looked like hadn't been cleaned for years cheap but won't deal with these again vile recommend nobody stays here I had to buy my own cleaning products
