Worst stay in Portugal

Good location and good beds

Room 233 is very old. So old as Egyptian pyramids, I guess. Walls, furniture and floor are in scratches, no hot water (at least after the 22.00, when we tried to get shower). It’s a shame to provide such a room for guests. I didn’t say anything to personal only because I stayed 1 night. But it’s the worst stay I’ve ever met in Portugal

Em geral foi ótimo 😊 soube a pouco, é um hotel confortável.

Pequeno almoço bom. Quarto espaçoso. As varandas são muito boas também. Não esperava ter duas televisões, evitou as guerras de zapping 😁adorei!

Não foi fácil encontrar a entrada. Muito escondido. Estava á espera de algo mais frontal. No quarto tudo muito branco. Mais cor na decoração ia ajudar.

Verouderd, overal dikke lagen kit. Mag een schildersbedrijf hebben. Groot balkon, stond een oude verweerde tafel.

Veldig fornøyd; rolig, pent, rent, hyggelig, gode senger, fresht basseng, 5 min gåavstand til stranden, 30 min å gå til

Fint, rent, stille, bra personale. Rent basseng, gode senger, men obs lytt fra gangen til rommene i studiodelen. Noen minutter ned til stranden. En god halvtime tur å gå til Cascais for middag, på flott strandpromenade. Togtur på ca en halvtime til Lisboa.

I studiodelen, bygget ved siden av hotellbygget, er det lytt fra gangen og inn til studioene/leilighetene/rommene.

Peaceful, relaxing stay!

We were very satisfied with our week long stay in the Amazonia Estoril. The location is very good. It is located in a very quiet safe residential area and yet is only a 6 minute walk to the train station at Estoril and approximately a 30 minute stroll into Cascais. We booked a studio which was spotless and the daily housekeeping was excellent. I do not understand the poor reviews as this certainly does not reflect our experience. I agree the property is a little 'tired' in places but on balance this was more than tolerable and we found the Amazonia very good value for money. I would have no hesitation in staying in the Amazonia again.

A lil bit expensive. I arrive at 2 am to the hotel , the check out was at 12 afternoon, paid 217 euros for 10 hours

Large apartment, close to beach and walking distance to Cascais and/or train station; easy train ride into Lisbon

lovely relaxing stay in exceptionally clean accommodation in a great location

good location. clean. great view

was a little quiet at the pool. a little music would’ve been nice. reception could be signed a little more clearly. also there is no bar.however we were able to buy drinks from reception. we wouldn’t have know this only for another couple of guests staying there told us.

It’s ok hotel well located in Estoril.

the smell in the room hallway the night we arrived was terrible. surprisingly next morning it didn’t smell bad 🤷‍♂️

Great location, staff and excellent value for money

A great hotel/apartment, it was a pleasure to stay there, we definitely would return

The location and setting of this hotel were super, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment was large, bright and spacious.

The kitchen units needed a bit of attention and it would have been good to have a toaster but these are minor points.

A combination of a bad flight experience with Ryanair and disappointing Hotel spoilt our holiday

Breakfast was OK but limited with luke warm cooked items

Room was not up to 4 star standard we have experienced around the world at best it should be rated 3* The apartment furniture was cheap and tired

Spacious room with a little bit waterview. Restaurants and supermarket are close by within walking distance .

The cleaning smell is too strong in the room and outside the room. The shower tray got blocked.

Great location, good staff, needs a "lick of paint to be perfect.

The room was lovely, however could have done with a slight upgrade to the flooring. Space and balconies were great. The soundproofing was also very good. We loved that we had somewhere to sit. The reception area is very comfortable. Staff everywhere from cleaning to reception are very helpful and friendly. WIFI was brilliant.

The restaurant is not currently open and it was not clear that you could get refreshments at the pool/general seating area. When we asked this was available. Bathroom shower was slow to drain. There was no instructions for the cooker top.

A perfect hotel

Beautiful hotel, stylish and spacious. Spotlessly clean, lovely staff and delicious breakfast. We loved the pool and the views. The room was huge, airy and comfortable. It is centrally located, about 7 mins walk to Estoril Station and the lovely Tamariz Beach.

Tip - no need to use the steps up to the hotel - there is a lift!

Nice property and location. Beautiful landscaping. We had minimal staff interaction. Nothing besides

Didn’t eat breakfast. Too expensive.

Water sprinklers near pool went off while people were sunbathing around pool. People had to scramble and move their chairs and items.
