Love the location.
Hand rail in shower is loose. Man at the front desk doesn't seem to like people. Answers are curt and not at all helpful.

A beautiful old, traditional building on the Camino path. The room was spacious and very clean. The bathroom had a bath which was very welcome following the trek from Los Arcos. Staff were very friendly and the food was good.

Sehr nett eingerichtete Zimmer, sehr schönes Hotel.

I stayed here for a single night whilst driving from Alicante to London. Medieval town very historic and interesting. Like nowhere I’ve ever been. Hotel lovely building very interesting and staff at reception very nice and welcoming
The bar and restaurant could be improved but we’re adequate. The room was fine had a huge but rate rainstorm and awoke to water pouring through the window. But minor issue and exceptionally rare weather

A warm welcome, to a beautiful hotel full of character. It felt very authentic. A comfortable sitting room to rest and enjoy an excellent Sangria after a long day walking the Camino !!
My room was perfect with a four poster bed and a bath. Sooo good!! Good breakfast and late checkout- who could ask for more?
I liked everything!

Well situated in the old village.
Dining Room closed for evening meals and the cafeteria was cold and made dining an uncomfortable experience, as it was Winter we would have appreciated more warmth.

Amazingly tranquil location; not the easiest place to find but well worth it.
The owner speaks little or no English so be prepared to converse in Spanish, Basque or French. Gave my rusty French a work-out!
No soap in the bathroom at all; be prepared!

1. Excellent location in a beautiful town.
2. Clean & comfortable hotel.
3. Very friendly & helpful staff.
1. Room very warm. Air con did not work.
2. Understaffed in bar and restaurant. Note: despite staff being run off their feet, they were very customer service focused.

The bartender was nice, and efficient.
Looks are deceiving, the reception desk is not marked, the check-in instructions were not clear. To save energy you put a key in a slot on the light switch, only when you get to the room the lights are off and couldn't find the slot thereby forcing a guest to make another trip via elevator to have them explain how and where to use this. (So energy waisted anyway)
We arrived at 2:45 the kitchen was closed there were 2 dried up tapas and a day old tortilla on offer which we ate anyway because we were that hungry. The dinner was at 8pm since we were still hungry we came and ordered from the dinner menu, as nothing on the pilgrim menu looked apealing, those who ordered from it were nit happy . the portions on both menus were tiny so I added a burger. The burger came raw on the inside. Not wanting to send it back I opted to microwave it at the bar. Even after that it was still semiraw. I think they microwave everything in the kitchen. JUST DON'T EAT HERE
You could tell who the locals were by their zshies and clothes, pilgrims wear hiking sandals or shower shoes, locals wear work boots or sneakers and jeans, they also got instent priority service. So pilgrims here are treated as 2nd class.
The handle in the tub/shower would not stop a slip because it is barely attached, one of the sheets had blood stains. The closet door would open but not close. The walls are paper thin, the neighbors had the TV on and I could tell what they were watching. JUST DON'T STAY HERE.

location
for the type of property it had no atmosphere. Menu of the day was way to expensive for pilgrims.

Located right on the Camino in downtown Viana, this was a good place to break my walk. Welcoming, well-organized staff and clean room with much-appreciated strong A/C.
Beds: two single beds side-by-side instead of a real double. Mattress was good, though. There were some room maintenance issues in the bathroom: ceiling light out, serious sink faucet drip, and bathtub safety bar was loose at wall mount. Room safe battery was dead.

Everything was fabulous. The staff were friendly, room was nice
Bed was fine…but not as comfy as some
