Great friendly staff and the location is on the bus line so very easy access to anywhere. Definitely going to stay there again

For £35 it’s great value but you get what you pay for.
Staff are straight about the facilities and friendly. Went over the road for a lovely breakfast. By the time we got there there was no parking left but there is free packing behind the pub opposite. Small free view tv in the room - worked fine. The WiFi was good though.
There were only Roman blinds (with missing panels) in our room which didn’t shut out the light and it’s very close to a quite noisy road. But the issue was mostly the light. Show was a bit sad with little water pressure.

It was a good price and close to bus stop so we could easily get into he city centre.
Staff friendly and helpful and helped sort an issue we had re our room.
Room was quite dark and one of the lamps didn't work.
The shower and toilet were classed as en-suit, but were basically in the bedroom and just covered with a curtain.
All functioned though.

Parking in front, with security cameras. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed. Convenient location.
A part of the vertical shades was missing, letting light in, early in the morning. One of the wardrobe doors was broken/defective. Shower mat didn't look clean. Both shower and sink drain very slow. Mold on the wall behind the toilet.

Good location. Easy to get to. Parking available, although it was first come, first served. The friendly receptionist directed me to another nearby location with easy access. The room was easy to reach. The bathroom, bedding, and wardrobe were all clean. Lots of Toiletries were provided along with tissues which was appreciated as one of the children had a cold.
The carpet on the floor in the bedroom has stains and is sticky in certain locations. The bedroom smelled stuffy, and one of the mattresses on the single bed wasn't comfortable as there were nodules or bubbly bits that could be felt, so we decided to sleep on top of the duvet instead. The mattress on one bed was so soft my body sank in the middle, which I found hilarious considering I am only 85 kg. Some of the curtain rail hooks were broken, so the curtain partially hung off the rail. At 10 pm, when we had to head back out to get water bottles, we had issues trying to lock the door, which seemed to be due to a faulty locking mechanism. The TV didn't have good reception, so we couldn't watch any of the children's Freeview stations in the morning while getting dressed.

Location
General appearance was disappointing
once inside the lobby and room. Broken blinds, edges of carpet dirty and no hot water in washbasin.

I urge anyone reading this, not to stay here. You will 100% regret it like I have.
How anyone can give this place more than 1 star is just a joke. This is by far, the worst place I have ever stayed in anywhere in the world, let alone the country!.
Firstly, yes it's filthy. Wallpaper hanging off the wall, stains everywhere, thick dust on the wardrobe, no locks on the bathroom, it stinks in the room and bathroom and the bed is awful, you have springs digging into you.
The thing that was even worse for me, is the fact I got 4 hours broken sleep! The room was on the ground floor, facing the main road, in the small car park. The room didn't even have curtains! It has paper office blinds. This meant all you got was flashing lights coming into the room from the cars on the main road. Coupled with this, every time a van or lorry drove past, the windows shook and banged. Like someone knocking on the door. As if this wasn't bad enough, the complete **** I had staying in the next room, set an alarm for 3.45am, which sounded like it was next to my bed, let it run until I banged on the wall, and then switched his TV on, which I could hear word for word, then just left it on until 8am. The walls must be made of ply wood as there was no going back to sleep after this.
I urge anyone that considers booking this place because its cheap and can't be that bad (like me) to just not do it. It was seriously horrendous. I now have another 8 hours of a tattoo to sit through followed by a 3 hour journey home.

Basic room but clean and great for an overnight stay. Staff were really helpful. Great location.
Another mirror would be handy for four people getting ready.

Practical.
Noise levels, but in all fairness it was roadworks.

Horrendous!!! Filthy, broken glass down the side of the bed. Just awful, walked out after about half an hour. Wouldn't recommend at all.

Just the location
The hotel does not correspond to 3 stars, the hotel needs a renovation, the rooms smell of mold and look dirty. It was not a comfortable night and would not recommend to anyone.

The location was good for my event the next day.
I booked this hotel as it was advertised to have free parking but when I got there, all spaces were gone. I was told to park behind a pub across the road (which was unsuitable) or across the road on the road. The receptionist was not helpful at all in this.
The room had a horrendous smell of smoke on entry and the blinds were damaged meaning that light could not be blocked out.
The white towels that I was given were that old that they looked grey and dirty.
Finally, the shower was very poor. It was either boiling hot or freezing cold, a very unsatisfactory experience.

Great location, cosy and warm. Good for a budget sleepover for one night.
Room was very dated, old and worn out. Bed was comfy but the sheets were really old! Towels were very old and worn out too! Can hear strange disturbing noises at night! Sounded and felt like being in a hostel rather than a hotel.

They eventually let me in.
Staff at check in were very rude. I hadn't been told that check in was 10, I was called at 5 to to be told this and barraged by sarcasm after. Turning up I was told that my room had been sold to another customer.
Limited parking, had to park on nearby estate.
Room was very basic.
One to avoid.
