Stefan and his staff were wonderful and made us feel incredibly welcome. The food was great and the hotel has a brilliant location - very close to the bus stop to the glacier and the office for buying lift passes. We have already booked to go back next year.

Breakfast was plentiful every morning with a quality array of cold meats, cheese, fruits, pastries, breads as well as 3-4 hot choices in a buffet style.
Dinner was exceptional. No really, that good. Every meal was 4-5 courses, with a different set of dishes each night; all of very high quality. I have eaten at many 2-star Michelin rated restaruants (and one 3-star), the Wednesday dinner (venison) has now claimed of "best meal I've ever had". It was *that* good...
Our room on the 3rd floor was huge, well insulated, quiet (even though it looked over the road)... It was great :)
The Spa was great, and well patronised every night we were there.
The hosts were extremely welcoming and spoke excellent English. I didn't ask, but I wouldn't have been surprised if one or both of them had been trained in a high-level Swiss hospitality school. Everything was meticulously well run.
One tip - when the nearby toboggan course is open, it was great fun! Ask the hotel to borrow their toboggans - they are better quality than the nearby hire ones and complementary from the hotel.
Honestly, there wasn't much to improve upon. The bus trip to the glacier was 20 mins or so so a little long, but the advantage to being one of the earlier stops was that we always had a seat. The scenary made the trip quite specaular anyway!

Confortable bed in a spacious room with lots of storage space for gear. The boot room is well equipped with lockable ski racks. Spa and sauna are a decent size and the whole place is pristine. The bus stop up to the slopes is almost by the hotel.
There's friendly staff and good food - the soups in particular were delicious.
No complaints at all.

Everything at Hotel Augarten in Neustift was more than perfect. Our room was so large with double bed, seating area, separate sofa and a lot of storage space. There was even a refrigerator in the room. There was a bathtub in the bathroom and the towels were exchanged every day!
The breakfast was excellent with many options to choose from - fresh fruits and vegetables, scrambled eggs, bacon, local cheeses, hams, salamis and great selection of freshly baked breads, buns, croissants and sweet pastries. The coffee was very very good. Also there were many teas to choose from, including herbal ones from Austrian lands of Burgenland and Steiermark. The 5-course evening menu in the hotel restaurant was great.
The hotel is centrally located with bus stop in front of the hotel and near the Elferbahn station. There was also an exciting program in the city of Neustift during our stay, including concerts of local and classical music, market with local groceries etc.
Many thanks to kind staff of Hotel Augarten for wonderful week in Stubaital!
