The room is spacious and the bed is comfortable. Ming Restaurant in the hotel serves pretty good and affordable Chinese food.
The hotel is quite far away from anything but fortunately Grab is very cheap and we just used Grab to get to places. Breakfast was very basic. By the time we got there at 8 am, many of the trays were empty.

Loved the pool, pina coladas, the gym, buffet breakfast and saturday night buffet at the plantation cafe, the beancurd/fermented vegetable omelette at the restaurant downstairs and the excellent customer service ☺️
Everything was great value for money.

A lovely welcoming hotel which caters for families. We found it so comfortable, relaxing around the pool while kids enjoyed a swim and play; super helpful staff who responded to any enquiries quickly and always happy to help.
The little cocktail bar at the pool was a bonus.
The hotel provided a great base to travel to the attractions and also a short ride from the airport.
I highly recommend this hotel.
Breakfast was good enough, omelettes were my favourite.
The concierge arranged us a driver to take us out for the day to visit orang-utan rehabilitation centre, sun bears, probiscus monkeys and rain forest discovery centre. It was a fantastic experience.

The staff were friendly, professional and extremely attentive to our needs.
Upon arrival late at night I ordered a beef burger. The pattie was quite raw inside. All other good was lovely.

Pool was great - breakfast was good
The Chinese restaurant in the hotel wasn’t great
5.0
- Nice location
- Decent Breakfast (except for coffee… drip coffee, good for US, unacceptable in Europe)
- Plenty of Parking
- TV has Netflix and Prime
- AC in the room extremely loud!
- Kitchen extracts switch on in the morning and are extremely loud
- Junior Suite is absolutely not worth the money as it is basically a standard room with balcony. Located above the kitchen so if you like to sleep past 6am, forget about it.
- Due to AC in the room and kitchen extracts, I was unable to have a good sleep
- AMEX not accepted

fijn zwembad, ruime kamer, goede douche, hele vriendelijke medewerkers, mooie groene omgeving.

This was a less than 24 hour stop off for us before we headed back into the jungle. The pool was lovely as were the cocktails we had in the pool. They even have a slide (who says its just for the kids?!) checkin and out was really easy, would happily stay here again.

Nice pool area and big rooms!
Needs renovation of basically all facilities to be a 4* hotel. But everything was clean, so it was fine for one night.
8.0
Great setting away from the city. We had a car so this was easy for us. Nice clean and very comfortable room. Nice hot water. The pool and cafe area was nice too.
Great laundry and room service. Although quite expensive. Some reviews have said the place is a bit tired, which is true but our room had all new bedding and was very comfortable.
Check in service not great. Overpriced food and services

We arrived late and were heading out early the next day to undertake a 4 day tour. The staff were used to this and able to help us with storing our luggage until our return.
Cannot fault the room which was large and had everything we required.
We had food at the bar area on our late arrival which was excellent and when we returned we visited the Chinese restaurant which again was excellent and great value.
Pool area was enjoyable and vast.
The breakfast was not great which was surprising as everything else was excellent.
We had an early flight when we were leaving the 2nd time and could not rouse the reception staff. Eventually found someone who woke them up. A bell at the desk would be helpful or a phone/number to ring.

Breakfast choice was good and varied.
Staff were friendly and welcoming.
Rooms were well equipped.

We like the pool area
I paid for scenic /swimming pool view but was locatied to car park view side of the hotel.
With Ramadhan dinner and noise we didn't have a chance to get a proper rest.
Staines on duvet covers, dirty coffee /tea cups etc
Room was spacious but not clean.
For 4 star hotel this is not acceptable. Dissatisfied

Comfortable room, room service, sense of space, very friendly service - they let me know that between me and my guide who planned most of my trip we had double booked - they were planning to sort it out.
I should come when Ramadan is not on. It got very busy in the restaurants. I didn't feel comfortable to swim in the pool surrounded by Muslim people in full dress (and knowing their views on modesty).
6.0
Concierge very helpful in arranging trips.
Pool was reasonably maintained, but not the loungers, towels etc
Nearly Everything was very tired and not well maintained. Asked staff to replace broken chairs on the balcony but nothing happened. Food was ok but not great. Chinese restaurant was the best they had.
The town looked like it had serious Covid impacts.

The room was really big with a nice view on city. Receptionist area is huge and open-air connected with beautiful tropical pool which makes you feel like in jungle. Stuff was friendly and helpfull. I would definately recommend this hotel.
Cleanless of towels and sheets is not at the high level. Outdated facilities. It reminds me on hotels from 1970(like some type of soc-realism style).

good location for us to Sepilok Nature Reserve, the staff very friendly and helpful, rooms were basic but very clean. pool area was beautiful. Breakfast was good good variety.
Not a complaint just observation, the restaurants served very basic food but for the price you couldn’t complain. I wouldn’t say it was the best I have ever tasted but certainty not the worst. 😀
