Lovely location, plenty of parking. Evening meal & breakfast was excellent & good value.
My particular room did not offer much in way of window view, and as its an old building the floors in the bedroom above do creek & groan when somebody is moving around.
Also it would be better if breakfast started at 07:00 not 07:30, when I'm on business and getting back on the road, that 30 mins will make a difference

Excellent staff, fantastic room (Salt Suite) and a beautiful location. Perfect stay after a round of golf.
A little more information at check in about food times and options would be really useful.

Very friendly staff. Enjoyed the views from the restaurant.
The breakfast was tasty but would have liked the option to have fruit, pastries and additional bread / toast.

The food was amazing and really good value for money. The hotel and grounds were stunning and the staff could not have been more friendly. Really enjoyed our stay and we will most certainly return

It was just perfect with one exception, in the room in which I stayed there was a high pitched constant buzzing sound, I couldn't work out what it was, it was very frustrating and continued throughout the night, it meant that I had a disturbed sleep, not ideal.

Great location for family groups. Lots of rooms to sit and relax and chat with people and hotel was very accommodating with our wishes.
Same menu for breakfast, lunch and evening meal for 3 days. Limited choice.

Everything about this place was great, all the staff were lovely, breakfast excellent, rooms comfortable and had everything, location picturesque. They also made a special effort with my 95 year old dad to keep him safe and gave him the best time. Also my lad had a great game of golf, joined up with a couple of the members that made him very welcome, on the last day got a lesson with the golf professional which was very valuable, thank you everyone.

nice food, amazing grounds, large room, clean, polite staff and good location, nice room touches like free water and biscuits, non slip bath mat and a fan.
couple of small mistakes like having a shower plumbed in too cold - had it on the highest heat and it was tepid water temperature. on second day our room wasn’t cleaned, towels changed or bed made/refreshments replenished. but it didn’t affect our stay as staff soon put it right. we generally did have trouble sleeping because the room was so hot - and even with windows open we couldn’t figure out why the room heated up so much on its own! we will be back but will probably stay in a different room.

Very nice and comfortable stay.
No view from bedroom, room wasn't fully clean, only three hangers and breakfast was a little dry.

Stunning grounds. Fantastic location, especially to nearby Little Eaton village. Hearty breakfast. Beautiful room.
Maybe it's just me but being a European traveller, used to travelling, I just like people in hotel services to be a little bit warmer in their reception of guests
The sofa bed was appalling. My daughter had to share the bed with us because it was so uncomfortable. Shame.

The cottage was perfect. Every detail.
The lights around the bath didn’t work and the mattress protector / sheet didn’t fit properly

Lovely surroundings although disappointing that could not walk around grounds. Food was good, well priced, decent portions and tasty.
Very much a golf course first and hotel second. Therefore quite expensive for what it is.

We stayed at Horsley Lodge before entering a Classic Car Rally on Sunday. Everyone we met was helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We needed a breakfast early Sunday morning. The team put a fridge in our room and filled it with a wonderful selection for us in the morning. Then on top of that they made us sandwiches to take for our Sunday lunch.
We have not felt so cared for and looked after in many a year. They also have fantastic looking Golf Course which sadly we did not have the time to play.
