Great location, cute place with charming balcony & the highlight of our stay was the breakfast at the top of the stairs with ocean views, incredible!! The staff were so friendly and the food was great, all you need.
The place was lovely! Only callout is there were lots of stairs and they were steep - so wouldn’t recommend if you have any mobility issues.

Really beautiful room in the center of the town. The location is perfect to visit from day and night the town.
The views from the terrace where the breakfast is done is amazing.

The rooftop terrace where they served breakfast, and the lovely atmosphere
It was very noisy , so it was unpossible to sleep before 2-3am

Great location, clean rooms, very helpful staff. Our stay here was wonderful
Breakfast options could be a little more diverse but the food was tasty

Gorgeous b&b, the staff were so lovely and helpful giving tips about best beaches, restaurants etc. Best location in the heart of the old town, stunning views from rooftop terrace and dining space (where the breakfast is served). You can use this space at other times of the day, bring your own food and drinks up there to take in the view. Would definitely go back next time we're in beautiful Puglia.
Narrow, winding staircase with giant steps leads you up to your room and the dining space.. would not be great for kids/elderly/low mobility. Lots of accomm in the old town would be similar.
We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, not a lot of space to spread your luggage out, and bathroom quite tight although still worth it for the location and price.

The location superb as in a quiet alley in the old town and a minute's walk to a place overlooking sea. Very pretty alleyway with plants, a tiny shop and reception office for Santo Stefano.
Good breakfast, fresh fruit, cereal, yoghurt, croissants, bread and cake served on the roof terrace where you can sit inside or outside. Very nice friendly lady who prepares breakfast Wonderful view of coastline. Comfortable sofas and chairs. No one puts up sun umbrellas owing to wind.
Communication before arrival was good on whatsapp.
I had single use of double room on first floor. Ideal for 1 person, a little small for two. Beautifully appointed bathroom, superb top quality cotton bedding and towels, spotlessly clean and excellent daily cleaning.
I assume the lady on reception is the owner but the office is only open during the day. I arrived by bus from Naples at about 21.45, no taxis so walked and asked way to old town. Not easy to find property, I was sent details of self check in, i.e. key box. Without help from some Italians I may not have found it and I certainly wouldn't have been able to lift my case up the steep stone steps on my own.
Very rigid breakfast times. First morning was woken by a knock on the door by the chambermaid 09.45 and started to go up to breakfast just before 10 to be told it would be finished. Very disappointed as I was so tired and needed something. Asked at reception who was not sympathetic but finally collected some yoghurt, milk and rusks from somewhere to eat in room which was better than nothing. The next two days I realised that hotel guests were always there after 10 so I felt annoyed to have taken advice the first morning.

Great locatiion in a very pretty courtyard in the beautiful old town. Good breakfast in the roof top restaurant over looking the ocean, cappuccinos were amazing! Our room ‘Verde’ was a good sized room with white washed walls, luxury bed linen, good sized bathroom.
As our room was located below the breakfast room, the preparation noise early in the morning was slightly annoying.
Would be nice to have body lotion provided
Note for people with mobility issues the step stairs would be a problem.

We just had a wonderful 2 night stay and from the moment we arrived Marialucrezia made sure we were well taken care of including arranging our dinner reservations for both nights at great places. We stayed in the lovely “Verde” room, a very spacious Junior suite with queen bed. The bed was so comfortable and the bathroom was very nice and everything is spotless. The wifi works well. The hotel has a lovely rooftop terrace, where the morning breakfast is also served. The hotel is in the perfect location and in fact many tourists stop to photograph their beautiful and unusual entrance. We communicated with the hotel ahead of time and learned we could park our car for free in the big parking lot next to the train station. We pack pretty light so no problem walking 10 minutes or so to the hotel. And the next day we took the train to Monopoli for the day which was wonderful. Thanks to Marialucrezia we really enjoyed our dinners at La locanda porto picc and Casa Orecchiette.
(Just a little side note and not a complaint but something to be aware of, if you have any mobility issues this is probably not the place for you. We are fit 66 year olds and we maneuvered the steep stairs to our room and on up to the terrace. As long as we stay fit for sure we would definitely stay here again!!). Thank you so much!

A cosy room in the heart of old Polignano a Mare. Everything was just perfect: clean, temperature, breakfast, the owner...
Super view over the sea from the terrace, where it is served the breakfast.

Santo Stefano Home is located in the tiny streets of Polignano de Mare - the location is superb. Right around corner is terrace with beautiful view and square with many restaurants. Staff was really lovely and I liked the breakfast with the view up in the top floor.
There are many stairs - especially if you go to breakfast but I didn't mind, it was nice excercise. Our room was in the first floor and was bit dark but comfy.

The accommodation is in an ideal spot, right in the old town. We were picked up from the car park with our luggage and that was good and easy. Our room on the 1st floor was extremely small and due to outside lights and lack of privacy you could not have the door open and it was very stuffy When booking ask for a room on a higher floor with a terrace.

Lovely bed and breakfast in beautiful building. Nice view from terrace upstairs. Wonderful location in old town. Staff were kind and helpful . Organized a bike to meet us at the car park and bring us and our bags to the b&b
WiFi reception not good, husband had to work otherwise it wouldn’t have been an issue.

Nice clean and comfortable rooms. Attention to detail with the design of it. The breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and fresh pastries each morning on their terrace which has a fantastic view.
Just a word of warning that the stairs to get into and around the property are very steep and narrow. We were fine but some may struggle.
