お部屋が清潔で使いやすい。

・平安神宮、京セラ美術館へのアクセスが良い。・お部屋は清潔で過ごしやすくベッドも寝心地が良かった。・スタッフさんが、フレンドリーで親切、丁寧だった。

・朝食の種類が少なかった点。

小ぢんまりしているが、オシャレで痒いところに手が届く感じで整っている

特にありませんが、喫煙所がレストランから白川沿いに出たところに有り、さりげない案内しかないので分かりにくいかな Bluetoothスピーカーの説明にはシャワー室でもお手持ちのデバイスの音声が流せると有りましたが、私の泊まった部屋ではシャワー室には照明の明るさ調整ボタンしかなかった

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tassle Hotel and will definitely be back! The hotel itself is fairly new and in a great location being a 10 min walk from the main shopping streets and public transport. The rooms are spacious (for Japan) and have all the modern cons you could need. Staff were extremely friendly and would offer to help with anything needed. This is my top pick for hotels in Kyoto.

Great location, so so staff, needs a laundry service

The location is great. Very close to the temples and tourist sites. The hotel lobby is very nice. The bathroom is very spacious and the bath tub huge. Bed was big. Note for families, you can go to Bamboo restaurant not too far as options for kids friendly restaurant nearby are bad.

Some of the staff weren't the nicest. No laundry service. No microwave oven to heat up a simple thing. The room could do with some space for luggages, the bathroom was unnecessarily big. The room was quite stuffy with no way to crack open the window for some ventilation except from the aircon.

Nice hotel for a trip to Kyoto

Small, clean, well located hotel right next door to the subway station and within easy walking distance of many of Kyoto's top tourist sights.

Rooms are a little tight on space with very limited wardrobe capacity. Its the norm for Japanese hotels but still frustrating.

Excellent room in a very vibrant location. Near transport!

Free night time drinks and snacks. The shower was spacious and water pressure good. The bed was comfy. The room was clean.

Space was a bit tight with two large suitcases and carry-on bags. However, we still had a lot room in the living space.

Fabelhaft

Das Personal ist super freundlich. Die Lage ist perfekt, nach einem kurzen Spaziergang ist man in Gion und bei anderen Sehenswürdigkeiten. U-Bahn direkt nebenan. Das Hotel ist sehr modern und schön designt. Auch die Zimmer sind super. Am Abend gibt es gratis Getränke, das hatte ich noch nirgends in einem Hotel. Würde ich definitiv jedem Empfehlen und sofort wiederbuchen.

Leider hatten wir ein Zimmer im ersten Stock zur Strasse und der erste Stock ist sehr tief und nahe zur Strasse. Aber halb so schlimm, ist trotzdem ein spannender Ausblick. Weiter oben wäre er einfach noch schöner gewesen.

Good professional hotel with good sized rooms and smaller size

Good location right next to subway station and many shrines in the East of Kyoto. Had breakfast included which was relatively limited (the hotel is not huge compared to others) but this suited us fine. Everyone was very professional room sizes and bathroom sizes were good with seperate bathroom(toilet/sink) and shower room. Very clean and each night there was free alcohol from 1800-2200 (although a sign said this was 'limited offer''). There was tea and coffee around as well

Perfection!!

The room was well kept, and there was a fantastic bathroom with a nice bathtub and shower(be sure to connect your Bluetooth to the bathroom speakers, use the dimming lights, and just chill in the bathtub) I got a room facing east, and sunrise was magnificent! Didn't have to walk or go anywhere to catch a beautiful sunrise. The hotel had a happy hour for hotel guests where there was unlimited alcohol and some snacks from 6-10pm which was perfect! Food can be found everywhere at walking distance. Tourist attractions were about 15-20 mins tops via subway. Would definitely come back again, and I highly recommend this place

Rude staff

Location.

We had a bad experience with the staff. We had called in advance to inquire about early check-in. When we arrived, we were charged extra. The staff acted very rude and created an uncomfortable situation. Maybe we were unlucky on this particular stay, but we will certainly not return.

EXCELLENT HOTEL STAY @ KYOTO!

The hotel was beautiful and modern, the double room we had was so spacious, very clean ( no weird smell sometimes hotel rooms would have ). The bathroom was very big, with a bath tub as well as a roomy shower area. The hotel reception staffs were very friendly and assisted with all our enquires. The hotel was less than a min walk from a subway station so it was very convenient. The hotel was also walking distance (around 10-15min) to Gion so that was a big plus, and also the reason for choosing it! It was very fortunate that the hotel reception could assist with the luggage delivery to our next hotel, that saved us so much time to do it on our own from Kyoto station. Everything was EXCELLENT!

I can't think of anything, perhaps the only thing was that it was not very close by a convenient store but it didn't bother me at all, didn't mind walking a little to the convenient store.

Great location and finishes

The hotel its nice, its in a good location, very close to a subway station. The room itself was quite nice, a large bathroom and full of domotic stuff.

We had a corner room that i believe was the one for twin beds but because of that our room faced for the main street. Its constant traffic noise all day and night... The sun in Japan comes up around 04:30 am and the room had really bad light isolation. Especially the corner windows. The blackouts were not custom made for that kind of windows... a lot of light in the morning plus the traffic noise...you can imagine. At least you will get up early and visity kyoto while everyone is asleep!

the facilities and rooms are new

The breakfast, if you can call it that, it‘s just 2 pastries, a salad and yoghourt. No juice, no variety, it should be called: snacks instead of breakfast. Also, even it is 5* it has nothing a 3 or 4 stars hotel could have.

Nice but overpriced

The view to the river was beautiful. The hotel is tiny, but elegant and clean.

The rooms had thick air, the air conditioner didnt really help, somehow the bathroom was super cold. No hangers in the bathroom. As almost everybody is stating in the reviews the wifi wasnt working, although connected. This should definitely not be the case when several people had already given this complaint. The price for this room was way too high. I was more disappointed than happy.

Relaxing but not perfect.

The communal area on the ground floor was very lovely and relaxing. The staff were polite and helpful. The location was really relaxing and it was helpful being right next door to the station.

The room got really hot and stuffy because we couldn’t open any windows. This made it difficult to sleep and we probably wouldn’t have wanted to stay more than one night because of this. Breakfast was lacking in bread or toast to eat with the poached eggs.

A wonderful stay

Absolutely loved our stay at this hotel, in fact we wished we could stay longer. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The location was perfect, right next door to the train station. There's a beautiful view of the river from the lounge and I enjoyed having breakfast every morning with that view. The design of the hotel is very thoughtful and modern. All in all a great time and I would happily stay here again for my next visit.
