Die beste Unterkunft seit 5 Jahren Radreise

Direkt am nördlichen Rheinfahrradweg. Achtung ca 4 km vor Laufenburg von Konstanz kommend. Super freundlich und das Essen ein Traum. Fahrräder konnten wir in der Garage parken. Abends ist es ein Feinschmeckerlokal (Preise 20-35 Euro für Hauptgericht) Das Frühstück war super Die beste Unterkunft bisher auf unserer gesamten Radreise am Rhein

Da gibt’s Nix zu meckern Höchstens das man aufgrund der Lage mit ein bisschen Autolärm rechnen muss wenn man bei offenen Fenster schlafen will. Wenn die Fenster zu sind hört man nichts

Very nice hotel on the Rhine (Rhein) River.

Spacious room, good location. very helpful and friendly staff. Parking was good, and storage for the bicycles was excellent. Check in and check out were good as well.

No ability to make hot water in the room. No cups, etc.

Geschmackvoll renovierte Zimmer, unkomplizierter früher Check In

Da das Frühstück in fast allen Bewertungen sehr gelobt wurde, waren wir dann doch etwas enttäuscht. Die Auswahl war sehr überschaubar, nur eine Sorte Käse und kalte Eierspeisen haben uns nicht überzeugt, vor allem da nebenan im Restaurant ein grosser Brunch mit Riesenauswahl war…da könnte man den Hotelgästen durchaus etwas abgeben!

Nice place but missing customer care

Nice room and breakfast.

We chose the hotel for its restaurant however it was closed on that Saturday evening as they were catering an event outside. It would have been nice to receive an e-mail about it as we really chose that place for its restaurant. When we arrived the reception was closed, we could not find our way inside so we had to call, they told us to go to the back of the hotel and there we found an envelope with our name and room number. We were a bit surprised and for a welcome, that was a bit cold. Once again, an email of information beforehand mentioning how to proceed for check-in and what to expect would have been nice. We did not know what time was the checkout and for breakfast, nobody came to check on us and tell us anything, the whole staff was just too busy with the restaurant (separate from the breakfast area) and the outside people coming for a brunch. So it is a nice place but a little customer care would be highly appreciated.

Good size room,nice breakfast,lovely evening meal,Menu was a bit fancy for me and in German so I took a gamble on the pork medallions and it was delicious, I think only 1 of the waitresses spoke a bit of English but enough to help me out.

Very nice accommodations

The room was extra large with private entrance. It was very nice to have a sitting area. Large bathroom with walk in shower. Shampoo and Conditioner were provided but there was no soap at the sink for washing hands. I asked but never received any. Restaurant on premises which had good meals. Breakfast was included and was adequate.

Location was a bit away from everything. Especially if you are on a bicycle. There was no where to get water, drinks, supplies for the next day. If staying here you will have to pick up before you arrive. Directions to go around to back of building to get keys should be communicated in a message prior to arrival.

Do not iss the restaurant. Excellent overnight place.

the owner was very accommodating, opening up his garage to store our bikes, letting me use his water hose to wash the bikes off. Then the restaurant was a real surprise, everything hoe made. When I chose a dish, but asked if it was a lot of meat, she said "did you want more vegetables", we can do that, leave off the meat whatever you want". It was like eating at someone's house. And really excellent food. Room was clean and large as well. I could go on and on!

Well, it was 35 degrees that day, and no AC made it tough.

Oh to have stayed even longer to enjoy the Hotel Kranz!

What a delightful surprise to arrive to this lovely spot in a quiet area of Germany. Everyone we encountered were friendly and helpful. Our room was quite large and very comfortable. The restaurant was absolutely incredible. Our breakfasts were plentiful and delicious, and the dinners superb!! We would highly recommend this delightful establishment.

The restaurant didn't have many cheaper options for those on a budget. Food was excellent though and worth the price.

- position is awesome - front of Reno. - parking lot on the side of the hotel - the rooms are new and very clean - perfect for group of friends - good breakfast 2nd time here and never disappointed..

Definitely worth a stay!

- friendly, helpful and welcoming hosts (they even offered to drive me to the train station) - Easy to find; situated next to the 7334 bus stop. Bad Sackingen us30 minutes by bus Guests can get a free travel pass from the hotel valid for your stay - Plenty of parking; note- it is next to a busy road - Advise the hosts of time of arrival as reception is not open the whole day. - Spacious, clean bedroom and new bathroom- loved the walk in shower; good hairdryer :-) - Small fridge available in the room - Delicious breakfast with different juices, coffees, fruits, cereals, breads, cheeses and meats. They will even prepare scrambled eggs :-)

Places to have dinner at close by is limited. Having said that- I had an excellent dinner at hotel Engel—about 5 minutes walk away
