Gute Unterkunft für einen Kurzurlaub

Sauber, Nähe Bahnhof reichhaltiges Frühstück (self-service) l

Kompliziertes Check-in; Zimmerwechsel wegen Safe, der nicht funktionierte. Und der auch im neuen Zimmer nicht funktionierte. Und auch der Safe meines Kollegen funktionierte nicht.

Nice stay in Stein

The breakfast could be better paying 100 euro per night. Also, not having any person from the staff at the hotel is a little bit cold.

Spacious and bright, but shower could be better.

Rooms are spacious and bright. Breakfast was okay.

Due to energy savings room was a bit cold. The shower has curtains instead of glass and there were black stains on floor tiles in the shower which make it look dirty.

Location works for me, room is big enough

Extremely soulless rooms, the shower has a curtain (which era we are living in and there is no proper shower cabin) check in problems (there is no personnel, I had to wait to get into my room).

The hotel is clean and tidy. I didn't use the breakfast. It is simple basic accommodation, so it suited me. Only marked down on value as all of Switzerland is too expensive.

perfect to break a journey but inevitably impersonal and no atmospher.

Very convenient place to break our long road journey. Good off street parking. Easy automated checkin so no problem with late arrival.

The bathroom smells like a sewer. Lights in bathroom were in a defect.

Big and relaxing room, desk and TV. Clean. Very good free WiFi.

It needs a refrigerator in the room and better breakfast. Little decoration would be nice, there is character at all. There is no reception personnel etc so if you have any issues e.g. with lost luggage delivered by the airline courier, there is no one to receive it if you are away to morning business visit.

Needs Maintenance

Spacious rooms, good location (by the Main Street but not too loud), good breakfast. Window had a screen which isn't the usual for Europe. Solid bike stand right out front (I was traveling by bike for this trip).

Room was hot with no way to cool. Lots of maintenance and cleaning items... broken nightstand light, bathroom fan didn't work, vanity light was out, drinking glasses were dirty, trash hadn't been emptied from previous guest and had feminine hygiene products in it, shower had missing floor tiles. Not sure how much of this is still COVID related but this is Switzerland, not some 3rd world country. Checkin was delayed because of booking through Booking.com. I was given a handicapped room with a low shower head and flimsy curtain that wrapped around you when showering.

+ good location + quietness + comfortable bed + free parking + 24h automatic check-in

- smell in the corridors reminds you of a hospital - adding bit of eggs, hot chocolate and vegetables for breakfast for instance would be good - if you are used to humans, you won't see any staff but that can also be a plus in covid times
