Forte odeur d’humidité dans la chambre - certes ils ont tout passé à l’azote mis l’odeur est revenue aussitôt . Pas très agréable !

Vi bodde i ett mycket fint och rymligt familjerum med egen balkong och utsikt över det skogsbevuxna berget där ljudet från vattenfallet nedanför kunde höras. Vi älskade onsen med de varna baden. Mycket trevliga gemensamma utrymmen där man kunde förbereda eget frukost.

Todo, la decoración de la recepción, el área de estar, la cocina. Los onzen, yo entre al de mujer al aire libre, es un tipo jacuzzi con una pared de cristal qué se ve naturaleza, y los otros cerrados, el grande es impresionante! Muy bonito. Los cambian de hombre a mujer por día. Tienen shampoo, jabón y esas cosas. Toallas sanitarias en el baño de mujeres. En recepción venden cervezas y comida instantánea. El dormitorio es pequeño, pero la cama amplia y cómoda, huele a madera.
Cómo llegar!!!! Ni con google maps pude llegar fácilmente. Pide especificaciones antes de llegar al guest house!!! Y cuando te subas a un bus PIDE LA PARADA CON TIEMPO PORQUE NO SE PARA HASTA LA SIGUIENTE PARADA. Y segundo, podrían mejorar el café ☕️

Room was comfortable for a family of 4. Comfortable beds, even for my wife who has back problems.
Lounge is cozy, has everything needed to prepare a meal, in addition to games and books (including many manga).
Onsen was relaxing and clean.

The private room with private bathroom was really spacious with nice view of the forest. When opening the window, you could hear the river.
Everything was clean and well organized.
We loved the beautiful public onsen: spacious, clean and with nice products for washing ourselves. They were also beautiful: the stones, the mural and the atmosphere.

Some comments were saying it was in an isolated part of hakone but we didn’t find it a problem as there were numerous buses to go everywhere from early morning to around 9pm.

Beautiful onsen experience - especially the outdoor onsen with the sounds of the nearby river. The site has a long history and the place was quite beautiful, especially the shared common areas.

We had a great one-night stay here, I wish it was longer! We booked a Family Room with Balcony and it was very spacious, with two seating areas and surprisingly comfortable bunk beds for our group of 4 adults. The public onsen baths were lovely and not at all crowded - the indoor bath was very spacious and the outdoor bath had a tranquil garden view. Nice provided yukatas and slippers to wear around the hotel. Check-in was easy and the front desk staff were helpful.
The A/C didn't get as cold as we hoped, and our in-room bathroom was pretty cramped. Having the main onsen bath changing room separate (down a public hallway) from the outdoor onsen baths was a bit inconvenient.

As camas são enormes e muito confortáveis, a área de convivência é muito bonita com uma cozinha super completa. Os Onsen são perfeitos, muito aconchegante e relaxante. A localização é boa, muito fácil de chegar.
Anoite não há muitas opções para comer pois os restaurantes próximos fecham muito cedo.

We booked a twin room, beds were very comfy. The balcony overlooked a green lush canyon with a small waterfall, it was beautiful. The entire set up is well thought out and the onsen incredible. The backpacker pods looked great too. We would definitely stay here too.
Nothing to fault, a little far from some restaurants and many close early. The last bus to the towns is around 9pm so you need to get taxis
We found a cool Japanese bbq (beef, pork) a few bus stops away “Yakiniku kiga” - all you can drink beer and whisky, on a river, very fun place.

Fantastic guesthouse, we stayed in the shared dorm and were satisfied with the set-up. Modern and clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Free coffee (beans and grinder) in the kitchen but nothing else food/drink wise. By far the best 'hostel' style acommodation I've stayed in. The booths are massive and will fit you, your bags and the provided towels etc.
The onsen was lovely too. We went in each morning to shower (the only shower for dorm rooms is in the onsen) and there was nobody else in there. There are shower curtains if you're worried about privacy.
The only gripe we had was the dorm was very hot. There are AC units but they are not set low enough. Once in your booth with the curtain shut the heat was almost unbearable. I had to get a fan from reception and kept it on through the night with the curtain open.

It was spotlessly clean, the staff spoke very good English which was helpful and check in was seamless. The onsen (indoors and outside) were lovely, the kitchen and lounge area were really nice places to hang out. Totally tattoo friendly too

Le décor , la propreté, la convivialité du lounge , les onsens où nous avons été seules à chaque fois ( nous avions pris 2 nuits ) bien jolis et ultra propres, la cuisine belle et fonctionnelle avec tout le nécessaire et ordonnée en plus !
En pleine période touristique, il faut s’ attendre à voir les qq restaurants slentours affichés complets et savoir qu’ ici on dine à 18h et qu’ à 20h, les restaurants sont fermés! D’ où l’ existence d’ une cuisine sur place qui nous a sauvé de la famine !
Rien , juste qu’ il a fallu changer de chambre ( 1 nuit ds une chambre style japonaise et la nuit suivante ds une chambre occidentale)

Le kotatsu était vraiment agréable. Thés et cafés sont a disposition. Jolis onsen intérieur comme extérieur. Fourni serviette.
L'entrée se situe au niveau -2 et est mal indiquée.
Le onsen extérieur nécessite de se rhabiller pour y accéder.

Nice warm welcome from staff. Very clean and comfortable rooms and beds. Very good Onsen indoor and outdoor. Nice relaxing social area.
Location was a bit quiet and not much around but this could be ideal if you want peace and quiet

Incredible place. So comfortable and beautiful, the onsen is exceptional. Great location near bus stops and attractions. Helpful staff. Lounge and kitchen facilities were excellent. Great free coffee and tea station. The capsule rooms are comfortable and spacious.
One of my favorite hostel experiences I've ever had. Only minor complaint is I wish there were additional washrooms on the floor of the dorms (only 2).

I stayed in one of the private rooms. Firstly the setting is magical. The building is on the side of a deep valley and our room looked over the river and waterfalls (the view is even better from the communal lounge/kitchen). Staff are very friendly and helpful. The outside onsen is amazing and seemed to be generally quiet while I was there. My wife had the female one to herself for the whole time. Given there are some crazy expensive resorts in Hakone, this is a great value way to experience the area and onsen.
Check out is 11am which seems a little early to me but that's the same in other places in Japan. Onsen is closed from 10am until the evening which seems a strange because surely most people want to use it in the day. Other than that everything was awesome.

Lo staff e' stato davvero molto cordiale e mi ha aiutato in molte circostanze. Il luogo era molto carino e mi sono trovato veramente bene. Mi sento di poterlo consigliare se si sta cercando una soluzione di tipo "capsula" per avere un servizio eccellente senza spendere tanto, specialmente se si ci si muove da soli, o in gruppo di amici.

Very helpful staff. The common room was very nice, full of equipment and utensils for anyone who wans to cook their meals. Onsen was nice n spacious as well.
Didn't know that there were so many capsules for individual stay, luckily those that were staying there were nice n friendly during our stay.

Great common area and onsen. The lounge is beautifully designed, spacious, and a perfect place to chill. The kitchen is fully equipped. The dorm, bathroom, and toilet are clean. There is enough space to put my toiletries next to the basin or make-up vanity. There is space to put small luggage next to the bed, and the light can be adjusted (bright/dim). They provide free towels every day, which is great. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are a few restaurants and a Lawson within a 10-minute walking distance, which is convenient. There is bus stop just outside the guest house (which goes directly to Odawara if you are heading back to Tokyo) and Miyanoshita Station is just 12 minutes walk away (this will take you to Hakone Open Air Museum and Gora station for change to Hakone Cable Car).
If you have large luggage, keep in mind that there are 2 flights of stairs before reaching the reception. Once at the reception, there is a lift within the building.

Établissement remarquable pour le prix proposé! Situé à 7 minutes à pied d’une gare ferré, mais aussi d’une convenience store en bas de la rue (5 minutes à pied). Des arrêts de bus sont aussi tout près de l’établissement.
Pour ma part en dortoir, lit très confortable et couchette relativement grande avec une place prévue pour ranger ses affaires dedans, top. Salon et cuisine exceptionnelle, on ne manque de rien, vous pouvez faire comme chez vous car elle c’est remarquablement bien équipé.
Les bains sont au nombre de 2 en intérieur (femme et homme séparé évidemment). L’un plus grand que l’autre mais une rotation est faite pour avoir l’occasion de profiter du plus grand. 2 autres bains sont disponibles cette fois-ci en extérieur (ici aussi, 1 pour les hommes et 1 pour les femmes). L’eau des bains est au alentour de 39° pas spécialement chaud par rapport à d’autres sources mais ça reste convenable. Machine à laver et séchoir disponible contre quelques centaines de yens.
Le personnel est agréable envers la clientèle. Rien à redire.
L’ensemble de l’établissement était très propre.
Rien à redire à part peut être un manque de communication sur les bains communs. J’ai eu l’impression que certains touristes n’étaient pas au courant que les bains étaient partagés et certains ne se lavaient pas avant d’y rentrer.
