The location is perfect for walkable Christiansted activities
Slightly dated

Sugar appel er en oase af fred og ro. Det er smukt og idyllisk med skildpadde have, og tagterrasse med hav udsigt.
Lejligheden var flot og funktionel.
Poolen var fin og forfriskende.

All was good.

Location was close to the boardwalk with plenty of shopping within just a few minutes walk. The room was clean and the tortoise garden added a fun element.
7.0 / 10.0
The room was lovely and the property has some beautiful gardens and terraces.
The immediate neighborhood is not in the best shape, but it is a short walk to Christiansted Also, we were misinformed about the breakfast time and then it shut down 5 minutes early, so we never did get the breakfast. That was disappointing. Security of the gates into the property seemed lax

Natalie is incredible! It’s a short walk to everything. Nice little breakfast.
Would have loved some water bottles or something to help me stay hydrated. Only thing really missing that I needed.

Natalie was a gem of a host. She had a lot of helpful info about the island. Yummy low key breakfast. The tortise garden was wonderful. The pillows for the bed were so nice. Hard to find good pillows at a place to stay nowadays.
Nothing.

I liked the breakfast service and the charming surroundings. loved that I could make coffee in the room yet I missed having a closet. but everything else was great, it was quiet, near the restaurants, loved the pool and the tortoise garden.
I didn’t liked the missing closet space to hang clothings and the soap dispensers didn’t worked well. maybe it’s time to replace them and very important, identify which of the two is soap and shampoo, aside from that, everything else was great.

Well-situated to restaurants & bars in Christiansted. It's a really small town, easily walkable. Super friendly owner, Natalie, who's ready with advice about the island and (vegan) breakfast. Lovely courtyard with a pool and mango trees bearing tons of fruit - you like mangos? They will literally fall into your lap. In the low season, I had the place to myself for an entire weekend.
Some local revelers outside were playing mega-loud thumping music at 3am, but it was Labor Day weekend, people are out having fun. Other reviews have complained of roosters crowing outside, and that is true, but seriously, people are bothered by roosters?

The building itself is very nice and in good condition.
The pool and the area around are very lovely.
The room was clean.
The neighborhood is loud (roosters, nightclub, cars).
I was looking for help and I knocked at the door of the
host. I heard she was there (coughing and TV) but she
just didn't open the door!
And my room faced the street and only had one small
window.

It is simple and had everything you needed. I liked the mango tree right outside my room door and turtles on the property. The rooftop balcony offers a nice view of the seaside.
Things like the tub were a little old with rust in the drainage area. It needs updating and little more style to the rooms.

Breakfast was good. Noting too heaven of greasy.
I wish there was more selection for breakfast.

Natalie was wonderful. She promptly responded to any questions or requests even in her off time.
The location.

The staff was incredibly friendly and incredibly helpful. Natalie and her vegan breakfast were just outstanding. The cinnamon rolls are everything. Easy access to the boardwalk and the main part of town.
The bathroom in the bedroom couldn't close, which may be ok for a couple but didn't really work out for two friends.

Breakfast was interesting....pastries and toast was alright but a muffin would have been mice....But none the less it hit the spot and I did look forward to it
Dam chickens crowning in the middle of the night

breakfast was ok but we are used to eggs in the morning with sausage/ bacon. Lots of carbs for us.
the stairs. we asked for a first floor and yes we did get the first floor after climbing some stairs. We were expecting it to be ground floor. We have a problem with stairs.
