Close to everything. The nice ambiance, the patio in front of my room with hammock, facing the jungle park. The staff were outstanding, very helpful and friendly. AC was quiet. Room cleaning excellent. Good value for money.
Nothing really but my room needs a chair.

The room was big with comfortable beds. It had AC and two fans for us to choose. There was a small balcon with a hammock and a table with view to the park. It also had a small fridge so it is possible to keep a few groceries in there just for us.
The owners of the hotel gave us a huge hand managing our reservation. They confirmed our positive and unique experience with Costa Rica's warmth and helpful people. Thanks!
The room didn't have any type of closet or shelves for our clothes... not a big deal but it helps.
The AC was working but it was really noisy... difficult to sleep with a helicopter motor above your head :)

Lovely place with fabulous staff and perfect location! The compound itself is gorgeous, and it is located right downtown in Montezuma, but tucked away enough for you not to be bothered by noise. Felt extremely safe, too, with staff always present by the entrance. 100% recommended!
Our room was a bit musty, but it could maybe have been solved with A/C, which we didn't purchase (could get it for an extra $20/night).

Great stuff, very happy to help.
No Miskito-net at the windows.

nice big room
mattress and pillow was terrible!
3.0 / 5.0
There were no screens in the windows, only signs warning not to ever open the windows because wildlife will enter your room. I don't think that's true because other places don't have this problem and honestly would be MUCH MORE comfortable if you could open the window while staying at a (close to the) beach resort.

the location is amazing, the room is basic but exactly what you need, comfortable with air con, so great. the staff are all lovely. and it had a great vibe. loved it!

The staff were lovely, very friendly.
Amazing location situated less than a one minute walk to pretty much anywhere in Montezuma.
Had a a nice communal hammock area upstairs.
Beds and pillows were very uncomfortable. Very noisy, I could hear someone snoring through the walls. We were not given basic amenities such as coffee for our coffee machine and toilet role!

Excellent location in the centre so close to everything. Good a/c and also a ventilator. Nice balcony!
The place is a bit shabby and rundown, many rooms are quite dark. Room was not cleaned during our stay. Beds not very comfortable.

We had a lot of Mosquitos because they left the door open the whole day. The air conditionor did not work well.

Very good location, easy to reach, and quiet in those crucial hours for rest.
I stayed in a large room, well equiped for its category.
Very positive interaction with staff and with the owner, with whom I had engaging conversations and who brought to me some local delicious food, simply as a gift.
I'd return to stay here anytime.

The area outside our room was very nice and we had our own fridge and private bathroom. I appreciated the kitchen and it was very close to all the shops and restaurants and the beach.
There were signs everywhere about various strict rules eg only using the kitchen to prepare snacks not meals, and not drying your wet swimwear outside your room, which I thought were too strict and ruined the vibe.
We had to ask for toilet roll when we arrived and again 2 days later. We asked for hand soap but we were never given any as they’d run out which during COVID times seems crazy to me. We also never had our room cleaned in any way including no change that the bin despite this overflowing.

Good location!
A few minutes walk to the shop, restaurants and the beach. Cozy with hammocks in the common areas. Nice with a sofa group outside the rooms.
We had 2 rooms, No. 32 (junior suite) and No. 33 (suite)
The rooms are extremely responsive and smell a bit odd. If you live in room 33 you are disturbed by traffic. We had to split the air conditioner control because it was missing from room 32.

Good location in centre of Montezuma. Budget accommodations. Common kitchen area and outdoor seating area are awesome. Patio has ocean view between the trees. Staff are friendly and accommodating.
The beds are uncomfortable box springs that have long outlived their time.
