The owners are really nice and caring - they helped us with arranging a few extra things for us even though it was not related to the stay at all
Great location right on the beach
Offering a lot of activities
Very well equipped kitchen and communal area
Own bar :)

The location is perfect, people are friendly and the Manager Mr Martin is the best.
The beds are not comfortable, If there can improve on that but everything else is perfect.

The beach front view and the amazing staff!

Locality really good
Accommodation shocking and over priced. Room was made of plywood and had a plywood door with padbolt and padlock!! Size was about 2.4m x 3m. Bedding was threadbare and no space to unpack clothing. Not worth R400 a night let alone the R900 charged. Rooms not serviced either
4.0
It was positioned right on the beach which was lovely. Close to town and restaurants.
Duvet may have needed an extra wash.

This was an incredible experience, the staff and the location make this just awesome!!! Thank you Martin, Patrick and Herb!

Everything. The Management and staff were very helpful and efficient. It was peaceful and relaxing. The view was stunning.
That my holiday was not longer!
3.5
Martin's friendly and welcoming nature. His humility is unmatched!
The facility should enforce the rules regarding the guest's behaviour towards others. Most of the guests, particularly white ones, were from South Africa and SADEC region in general. Being a person of colour, I noticed a lot of racial intolerance from the white guests. This is not in anyway, the facilities' fault, however, the facility should lay the ground rules regarding how the guests behave. It should be made clear that racial intolerance will not be welcome or tolerated.

Location was absolutely insane, could walk right off the porch onto the beach and in the centre of Ponta d'Ouro, everything was within walking distance which was lovely. The venue was also lovely and staff were helpful and happy to give advice.
If you want to go for a relaxed holiday I would suggest going in November as bear the end of November and in December it can get quite rowdy and loud. However, the music goes off at 10 strictly. Water was intermittent.
4.5
Very friendly and helpful staff. Fun people. Also easy to relax and take time for yourself.
Could have been more privacy between the bungalows (now you can hear your neighbors talking even in low voices etc)
4.0
Very friendly atmosphere and central location right on the beach! Nice kitchen.
Can be a bit noisy night time with barking dogs and talking people, so bring ear plugs to be sure.
4.5
Excellent location and staff.
Their commitment was - let's say - unprecedented. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and the divemaster was the best.
It is a very primitive enviroment, mostly catered for young and not demanding people. Frequent electricity and water outrages,
Small and unconfortable bathroom, loud enviroment - but for the price we paid ...

Holes in the Mosquito nets

If you want a rustic African experience in a remote beach town, this is it. Geared for the dive crowd. Big backpacker vibes - open kitchen with everything provided. Lovely deck area looking out on the beach. Very friendly service.
Room was bad bad. Dirty, dusty, bits of tissue paper under the bed, cheap trashy decor. Mosquito nets have holes and I had several mosquitoes inside the nets. You can look through the straw walls into the guest rooms next door. You can hear everything happening in your neighbours' room. Overpriced.

amazing location right on the beach
rooms very rustic and basic but fine for one night.

Right on the beach. Perfect self catering place, big kitchen, barbecue area, great atmosphere. Stayed there for 3days with my little daughter and we both loved it. They let my daughter come with me on the boat while I went diving.
I booked a shark deep dive. During the dive I lost my weight belt at 36m depth, so I was shooting up to the surface. Unfortunately my buddy, the dive master, wasn't paying attention to my struggles, which made the dive a rather traumatizing experience.

beautiful place directly on the beach, super chill vibe, lots of dogs running around, mosquito net provided

Friendly staff, good communication and a good sized room. The plus point of the property is it's laid back friendly hostel style vibe, it is not a hotel or guesthouse.
Rooms and facilities seem a little tired. Not clear that outdoor eating area is shared with another room.
