This property is absolutely beautiful with mountain and river views from almost every room. It is huge and spacious and beautifully furnished with gorgeous furniture, perfect for a large group. Check-in was a nightmare and took 2 1/2 hours of being on hold with Vacasa to finally get in. The code didn't work, the first lockbox and second lockbox didn't work. We finally got a hold of someone after 2 1/2 hours of trying to get in and waiting on hold for Vacasa to finally reset the code. The stove did not work and we had to throw away all the food we had planned to cook. We ended up eating out a lot which cost us a ton of money. Vacasa finally gave us a small credit to cover the purchased food but this was after about 6 phone calls and hours of waiting on hold through various managers, etc. It was nowhere near enough to cover the cost of eating out. The unit is listed as having a washer and dryer but when we arrived both were locked up with a bicycle lock and we were told they were for the owners only. The dishwasher was broken/missing a wheel so although it worked it was impossible to pull the tray in and out. We have stayed at dozens of rentals and although I completely understand that things break, the difficulty in getting help from Vacasa - the management company - was ridiculous. We love the Pines - the pool/hot tub and views and area are amazing, but we would not stay here again because of all the issues and the trouble getting help from management.

I rented this house for a short ski trip .the house is less then 5 mins from keystone resort. The house was very clean when we arrived . The over all feel is a comfy modern with plenty of space for all your needs. The other amenities like pool.and hot tub were great and very close to this rental . Only issue was that the living room was always cold. Even with that still a great find for all your needs

This unit had everything our group needed- was clean, with great views, and had access to a hot tub. Only complaint was that the host was a bit hard to reach for any questions we had.

Loved the views especially from the master bedroom! Great layout for a family gathering.

We stayed here for a 3-day ski trip at the end of Feb. The location is perfect for folks who can handle the steps and distance from the parking lot to the door of the condo and who are cool with riding the convenient bus shuttle to the resort. We really enjoyed staying here. It's quiet and allows for lots of space to gather as well as separate. We'd definitely stay here again.

This place is such an incredible place. It was well clean and stocked with all the essentials. It had plenty of sleeping places for our group of 10. The house is decorated so cute and you cannot get a better view!!! Vacasa was also really responsive when we needed help.

What a fun family getaway for Christmas. Great place, great layout loved the fireplace

The view from the windows

The home itself is pretty & the views are unmatched, but once inside, theres LOTS to be improved.
1)They dont allow you to control the temperature in the house so it never reached above 61. Thats too cold for pets/babies to be in. They provide 2 space heaters however one barely gave off any heat and if you tried to run both at the same time, you blow a breaker. They should atleast provide free firewood to have another source of heat. Were already paying a good amount of money for the house, i shouldnt also have to buy my own firewood because they wont keep the house at a comfortable temperature.
2) Guest Services: Ive never stayed at a rental that doesnt provide you with a binder or something to share information about the property/town. I was constantly having to reach out to guest services with questions about the home and never got someone on the phone. I used the chat option a lot but they werent very prompt or helpful. Often times the chat would drop before i even received answers. At one point i reached out asking where the dumpsters were, they told me "look around the building, i'm not sure"..how does the property mgmt not know where things are in the building they manage??
3)cleanliness: overall it was fairly clean, but ash was all over from the broken fireplace screen. walls had scuffs too and some that looked like blood.
Overall, it's not somewhere i would recommend to friends. there are better options even within the same complex that aren't managed by Vacasa.

This is a very spacious and well-equipped condo but it needs instructions on how to use the fireplace, thermostat, lights, and blinds. I would also really encourage the owner to provide instructions on how to find the condo because it is down several flights of outdoor stairs and then into a separate building that you must take the elevator up to the fourth floor to access the condo. The views from windows was spectacular but it would be very nice to have curtains in the bedroom on the main floor for some privacy and daylight protection. Nice to have a second half bath on first floor too. There were a few issues on arrival that property management was very responsive to which is much appreciated. The bed was very comfortable. The transition from hallway to bedroom downstairs might need some repair. But, overall, a very interesting and spacious condo with amazing views and good property management.

I needed some peace and quiet, enjoying the fall colors. With the window open, i had a warming calm and mountain silence, with a hint of the snake river going by. The place is steps from the snake river path (walking/biking) and lots of places to sit and watch the river.
Also, favorite of the place is the kitchen. Appliances top notch, induction cooktop, boils water almost immediately. Enjoyed my time

It looks just like the photos. Beautiful. It got very hot during the day ( august) because no window coverings on several large windows. But the views were amazing and at night we opened the windows to cool off. Everything about the place was fine and easy except pool access. We had to call mngt to gain pool access and I had to wander all over the parking lot trying to find a lock box at night to get pool cards - I did and they still didn’t work. I called back to share this info and they assured me someone on the property would bring me pool cards and text me. They never did. Twice a work man entered the apartment without knocking or informing me beforehand ( yo address a separate issue from a previous guest) . Lovely place but the mngt could use some help.

It was nice to step out and be able to walk alongside the Snake river and see the snow capped mountains. This condo is located close to the Keystone village. It has a lot of room and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved this spot! It is in a beautiful location with access to beautiful trails! Would definitely stay here again!

This was our first experience in keystone and have to say the space at the pines was perfect for what we needed. Great location and close to the resort, tubing, and ice skating. I don’t remember if the listing had pictures of the view from the master but if it did, the pictures didn’t do any Justice. Its panoramic view of the mountains. We will definitely stay here again!

The best part about this condo is the size and style. Bigger than I expected and just a super cool place. The bad part about this place is that it’s run by Vacasa, which is the equivalent of a computer bot and not a real human. There was no manual and you’re pretty much left high and dry for any issues you may have during your stay. The heat was very confusing and there was no manual on how to work it and we froze the first night. The management guy came out the next day and was nice, but that didn’t help the first night when we needed it. The place had a fireplace but nothing to light it with. And when you realize this at 9pm, it’s just too late. The pool and spa was out of service and we weren’t notified of this before our stay and the Pacasa team acted clueless as to it being out of order. This was my biggest complaint as that’s half the reason my son and I booked this place and I would have booked elsewhere had I know this ahead of time.
So bottom line is this, the condo is awesome, but you’ll be left on your own for any issues that might arise during your stay. So just know that going in.

This condo was amazing and comfortable. The property is very well kept and had all the modern accommodations. We really enjoyed the views and the location! I would highly recommend!

Entered into a freezing cold unit. Heater was broke. Communicated this with company. The next day they came in and put space heaters everywhere while we were skiing. Came home to breakers popped so unit was still freezing cold. Had no way to start fireplace as there was no kindling or firestarter. Fireplace shoot was open which contributed to cold unit most likely. Called Property Management and they said manager would call me back. Manager never called. I called again to ask property if we could have a late checkout seeming that our stay was uncomfortable. Still management never called back and cleaning lady showed up at 10:30. Two days later and I'm still waiting for a call because I would like to discuss my charges.

Comfy and Cozy Family Home
Like a similar reviewer said...I'll give you the good and the bad (minimal). This place was great but a few things would need to be addressed for us to stay here again.
The Good:
This home is beautifully designed and decorated. We appreciated all the comfortable furniture, extra blankets, etc. We had what we needed in the kitchen (I appreciated the cutting board, nice dishes, good set of knives, etc). It took me a bit to understand the stove because it's an induction stove and so only certain pots work on it. The home was spacious and our family of 5 had plenty of room to spread out. My 8 year old LOVED the loft in the TV room. Then my older 2 kids had the upstairs bedroom/loft to themselves. One of the best things about this home is the REAL fireplace. We built lots of fires and it was such a nice touch that it wasn't gas and added to the ambiance of the mountains (new firewood and matches were delivered daily). We also LOVED the kitchen table area which was perfect for playing games/cards, hanging out, and meals. Beds were fairly comfortable as were the pillows. This home is also in a great location and close to the resort...you can take the ski shuttle or it takes less than 5 minutes to drive there.
Bad(ish):
1) This home has a LOT of natural light (sky lights) which is nice but the main bedroom really needs drapes/blinds/curtains for privacy (there's a house that could look directly into this room's large window). I wish I had brought some sort of blanket/sheet to tack up to the window. I understand the reality that the sky lights are hard to cover. So bottom line, if you like to sleep in past sunrise, that won't be possible here.
2) One reviewer was exactly right that getting your luggage up to this condo is a PAIN! You have to park in the parking lot, then load all of your luggage into these large wheel barrels and haul those UP and DOWN sets of stairs before you even find the elevator and then load all your luggage up to the 4th floor. We had some frustration when we first got there and unloaded all of our stuff but definitely figured out the best way to navigate this "system" when checked out of the condo.
3) The pool keys never worked so that was a pain because anytime we went to the pool, we had to hope someone was there to open the door for us. Also, the hot tubs were VERY cold the first day but got warmer throughout the week (I realize this is an issue that the owners of the home can't control).
4) The house doesn't supply enough bathroom towels and there's NO mention of having to bring your own towels to the pool. I wish we would have known that so we could have packed our own beach towels with us so we didn't have to us the bathroom towels for the pool. There is a small washing machine in the home that has a "wash/dry" option but we could only wash 3 towels at a time because it's small and we had to buy laundry detergent. Also, there wasn't any dish washing detergent so housekeeping must have forgotten that.
All that said, this place is great and we'd stay here again if they put drapes up in the main bedroom and if they provided more bath towels (and/or just provided some pool towels).

I’ll start with the positives of our stay. Great location with beautiful views. The condo was large and spacious with plenty of room for our family. The condo had board games that kept my kids entertained and it was a short shuttle ride to the slopes. However, there were disappointments. The biggest being the condo was filthy. Upon check in it appeared tidy but as we started to get around it was just way below my comfort level. There were dirty dishes in the cabinet and I’m not talking about one. So many we just decided for our own safety to wash all dishes in the kitchen. The walls and banisters were dirty with finger and handprints. Spaghetti sauce on the wall and carpet. The carpet was disgustingly dirty and needs a deep cleaning not just a vacuum. The kitchen was not adequately stocked with pots and pans to make meals. Please consider this as a major downfall for travelers. Our options for cooking was a Wok, a filthy cast iron skillet (that we cleaned and seasoned so it could actually be used) and a pot, which we basically used for everything. The condo pool was closed. We were not made aware of that prior to our arrival. I figured it was due to a county regulation due to Covid, but noticed other resorts in the same area with open access to the hot tubs so then I was confused and couldn’t find anything in my renter information that said the pool area and hot tub would be closed. I find it disappointing to have paid as much we did for our stay without any discount seeing as how the entire facility was not useful. Overall we had a great trip with many great memories made but I would not recommend this Condo or stay here again when we return.

The property was clean, spacious and comfortable. The property was advertised with fire wood included. We didn't have any upon arrival however the rep on the phone was very kind and the manager delivered wood within a couple hours. There are a couple attention items that could be improved to make things more comfortable: we ran out of toilet paper in 2 of the 3 bathrooms and could not find any stocked anywhere in the condo. Some of the furniture legs are loose/wobbly. Overall it was a nice condo and we would stay there again.

Great place, technical issues
This place was super spacious and really really nice. Enjoyed our time there. Had a few issues like we couldn’t get into the lock box when we got there and after several tries we had to use the backup lock box with only one key for 8 people which was frustrating. Few other small things like missing parking passes but over all everything was great.

Great views and tons of space - with some small things to know
This is fairly long and all over the place. Maybe it will help you pick. In short we would rent this again. But for more good and bad, read on.
We rented this in Oct 2020. Oct is a down month in CO as it can be 60 or it can be 10 degrees and snow (but no skiing yet). As such, I cannot comment on things like availability of parking spots or amenities during peak times. I would think parking might be an issue at peak times.
Overall - this is a large unit that can sleep a lot of people! And not just sleep, but have space to hang out and not be on top of everyone else. We only had 4 in our party but we could have doubled that and been fine - if we were all close with each other. What I mean is that only 1 of the many beds (one of the two kings) is behind a door. The other king is sort of in a room, but it has no door (this is the room with the porch). Then 2 double beds are in an open loft that is over kitchen and is essentially the hallway to the king in the room without a door. One bed is in a small loft above the TV den. Lastly the pullout is in the living room. As long as this fits your group, this unit has as much space as any. 2.5 baths too.
I have rented a lot of condos on the beach and in the mountains, which I only point out to say I have very realistic views of what a kitchen will have - not expecting great cookware, matching silverware, etc. But this unit is on the poor side of cooking gear. Literally not a pot to boil pasta (we had to use a huge oval roasting pan on two burners to do this) or frying pan. That said, the oven, fridge, microwave, and toaster all worked great. If you do not cook much, none of this matters to you. There are two crock pots, which give you options.
Unit was plenty clean. Sheets and towels were fine.
The unit has a circulating hot water system so you have nearly instant on hot water which is cool. But the downside is in the kitchen if you have not run water for a while it will take 2 minutes to get cold water.
This unit is hot. As I said we were there in Oct so it really was not an issue, but when it was 50 degrees out you had to have windows open in afternoon to keep it under 75 inside. I have to guess it would be really hot in summer. In winter none of this matters. One that topic the unit faces the setting sun (which is why it gets quite hot) and when we were there it faced the wind. The windows in the master (which had to be open to not bake) are kinda of rickety and felt like they were going to rip off in the wind.
Location is great. I mean it is not walk to ski or anything. But it is off the main road at a light which makes it much easier to get a left to go into Dillon. Just outside the unit is stairs that go to the snake river and the path that follows it. So a lovely scene is just steps away.
One last thing - this unit is on 4th floor. There is an elevator. But due to where it is in the complex, to get to the elevator from parking lot you have to go down about 10 stairs over 50 feet, then up about 8 more into the lobby. Just something to keep in mind if you have heavy bags.
