Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay at Camano Island. Views were fantastic.

The house was great- very comfortable, clean, relaxing, and an amazing view of the ocean & mountains. Kitchen is well setup. The front room is great for conversation while taking in the expansive view. Stayed two days.

Beautiful location, dog friendly, fully fenced yard for piece of mind with the pups

A perfect cottage in a wonderful location with an amazing view.
We loved sitting out on the deck watching eagles soar and fish and looking at the islands water and mountains. It's hard to find anything better!!!!

The views do not disappoint. Also, we enjoyed watching the bald eagles - at one point we counted 5 in various trees. The appliances are very nice and new; the kitchen and bathrooms were recently renovated. The furnishings were nice and in great shape. Very clean and bright house. Also, take the time to read the guest binder: so many helpful tips and information about Camano Island.
We hope to visit again.

Amazing views and very well equipped, had a wonderful stay!

Excellent birding from both inside and outside, the calming view of the water, the surrounding greenery and trees, and a lovely home all added up to the perfect place for a long weekend getaway. The fenced in backyard meant our dog could go out on his own—thank you for that! The deck is large and halfway covered, so we could still sit out there when it was raining. This is truly the perfect place!

Our family of four + our dog had a wonderful stay at this home! Just as pictured and had plenty of amenities to make everything easy. We even saw a whale from the little sitting area! Fully fenced in backyard kept any worrying of wondering toddlers or dogs at bay. Would definitely stay here again!

Spent a long weekend! It did not disappoint as we were able to see whales and eagles. The property was gorgeous, clean, and safe. I hope to return again soon.

Honestly represented in pictures and write ups … it’s beautiful, comfortable and exceptionally well appointed with breathtaking views.

This is a beautiful home with a stunning view. It is very well furnished & equipped. We would happily return. Our only frustration was not having the technology skills to use the smart TV. With the Outstanding view, we really didn’t need TV anyway.

We didn't leave this lovely home for more than a couple hours (went out to dinner once). Quiet relaxing place. Bedroom spaces great for privacy; one bedroom downstairs with bath and access to garden. Cozy living room with big windows. Views from all rooms. We were mostly on deck looking out at water. Deck boards a bit uneven and worn; nice fire pit and comfortable lounging chairs. BBQ clean and worked well. As mentioned in a couple reviews, we also found white dog hair....all over the sheets and pillow cases upper bedroom. (Owner's dog or frequent renter?) An unwelcome surprise at bedtime. Had to wash the sheets. Otherwise the place was very clean. Could use some more kitchen towels. Not much in the way of pantry items. Tiny "starters" dishwasher pods, shampoos, paper towels, etc. OK for us for 3 nights but suggest rental agency provide supplies based on # of days rented. No one wants to have to go to the market for dishwasher pods. As mentioned in a few reviews: the lock key-pad is finicky. We got the hang of it but could be very frustrating if you are needing to get inside quickly upon arrival. Brick walkway to house has hazard sign; uneven broken bricks. Walk on lawn instead. Met friendly neighbor. Quiet residential. No beach access. Small but well stocked market (Huntington) within 3 minutes. Binoculars provided and spotted lots bald eagles. Saw space station and a billion stars. Enjoyed the serenity. VACASA/VRBO very responsive.

This home was perfect for a getaway of 2 couples. Beds were super comfortable, home was clean and the views were outstanding. We were able to watch eagles, hawks and a variety of other birds throughout our stay. It was such a great few days with lots of rest and relaxation. Overall and wonderful getaway in a beautiful setting. House was well equipped and clean upon our arrival. Our dog loved the fenced yard (so did we!). Would definitely return!

We loved this home and spent most of our time on the deck that's even better than the pictures! Great for us and our dog to hang out in the backyard. Kitchen and upstairs bedroom are nice, a little older downstairs but fun spot for exploring the island. Close to brewery, winery on the north side. Very quiet and secluded neighborhood.

Great views. Saw eagles from the deck. Overall, enjoyed the stay. The one issue was the downstairs shower which was clogged.

We absolutely loved this home on Camano Island! It was fully stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The neighborhood was quiet (we only saw one neighbor outside one time) but the real treat was the view; the pictures don't do it justice. It was also conveniently located to parks, restaurants and the local grocery store, while still feeling secluded. The only complaint we had was the noise from the naval air station on Whidbey island. On weekdays military jets flew in the area into the early evening hours. Luckily most of our stay was over the weekend. It's nothing that would deter us from staying there again, and obviously any place on Camano and Whidbey is going to have this issue, but it is something to be aware of.

My husband and I, with our son and DIL, spent 4 nights over Thanksgiving at the Eagle's Nest Retreat. It was beautifully designed and decorated, had everything we needed to prepare a large meal, and was a cozy place to enjoy our time together. The views from the windows and deck are stunning. We saw several kinds of PNW weather, from a day so clear Mt. Baker looked very close to rain, fog, wind, and ever-changing sky and sea. Our visit was amazing, and I'm looking forward to another visit there in the future.

We enjoyed the daily beautiful views of Mt. Baker & Utsalady Bay, and stunning sunsets. Loved watching eagles, boat traffic and views of tall lush evergreen trees.
I would love to rent this home again if it weren't for my allergies. The downstairs bedroom and bath have a moldy smell.

The view was stunning. The house was great but with lots of little issues. There needed to be more detailed information on how the induction stove worked, fireplaces, little hot water in bath, very difficult to get in lock box and impossible to lock.., etc. The beds and linens were excellent. Great furniture inside and on deck. Walkable neighborhood but no direct beach access.

Terrific house. Absolutely beautiful and very well laid out and furnished. Really comfortable beds.

Fenced in yard for our JRT. King size bed. Private area with a spectacular view on a big deck. Comfortable home away from home.

Everything was very clean and comfortable, not having TVs in every room was a nice change as well. The area itself is very secluded and quiet. We brought our own and played lots of the provided board games. Our dog enjoyed the fully fenced yard - easy access from both upstairs and down. The beds were big and comfortable and the kitchen supplies were very nice to have. No complaints - we’re considering booking again in the future. Thanks!

Enjoyed property! Great views, quiet neighborhood! Clean and comfortable!
Only drawback is trying to use Bosch countertop for cooking. Very confusing!
Would definitely rent again!

The property is lovely, exactly as the pictures describe and the other reviews are absolutely accurate. This place would be amazing for storm watching in the winter. We came for my 50th and had an amazing time, spent 3 days 4 nights, which was the limit we felt, any more and it would have been too long. But it really was lovely, don't miss the state park Cafe down the road, really great food, service and their tea is so good.
On a different note, working with VACASA was so tiring, just felt every simple ask from my side was met with "sure, for this additional cost, you can do that", which maybe it's just me, but it seems more and more corporations are doing this, and I feel taken advantage of. Also, the place us not really stocked with any cooking supplies beyond pots and pans, we bought our own supplies, but if you aren't prepared, you won't find even salt and pepper, so come prepared.

My husband and I stayed at Eagle’s Nest for 4 nights in July 2022. Gorgeous views on a quiet and relaxing property. House was immaculate and well kept, from all the finishings, to high-end appliances. Kitchen is outfitted with all of the basic necessities and more (impressive selection of spices). Beds were very comfortable. Upstairs bedroom might benefit from blackout blinds/curtains as the room was very bright in the early morning. Property is great and we would stay here again in a heartbeat!

This cottage is very pleasant and comfortable. The high bluff waterfront location provides stunning water views. From the deck, we enjoyed both the morning sunrises and the colorful evening sunsets. The pictures correctly reflect the cottage's interior space. The updated kitchen and baths are tastefully done. We are planning a return visit in the Fall.
We also found Vacasa a professional company - easy booking process, friendly people, and responsive to resolving issues.

This house is amazing, especially if you have a dog. Exactly as described, jaw dropping views, and perfect location.
Two nitpicks:
- The house could use a better cleaning. Nothing dramatic, but there were dust balls in corners and some seldom-used surfaces were dusty. Makes me question the "deep cleaning".
- Also the toilet paper was extremely cheap, single-ply. For a listing at this price point, decent toilet paper should be table stakes.
Will definitely book and stay here again.

What a delight! This home was the perfect escape from the city. The five of us (three humans and two dogs) had a blast. The house was well appointed and the views were stunning. The dogs had a blast in the fenced-in backyard…I don’t think they really wanted to go home on our last day (well, none of us did!) The sunsets were absolutely stunning…and we were treated to a pair of bald eagles who appeared to be nesting in one of the trees in the neighborhood. A+!

This is a lovely vacation home, with great space for the 4 folks allowed to rent it. We loved the location and spent many hours on the deck watching eagles, Navy jets and gorgeous sunsets. Definitely a spot we would chose to revisit!

Beautiful view of the Puget Sound! Close views of Bald Eagles perched in trees and quiet surroundings. Loved the sound of the military jets when they would fly by! We had a really relaxing stay. The only problem we encountered was the downstairs shower, which does not drain at all. We had to plunge it, and then only used the upstairs shower, which was inconvenient. Other than that, it’s an amazing property!

Beautiful views!
Very nice property. If you're looking for peace and quiet, this is perfect. The house has wonderful water views and we enjoyed watching the bald eagles. Apparently, the previous renter had a white dog. Our socks were covered in white hair so we had to give things a thorough vacuuming and dusting when we arrived.

Those views!
My hubby and I stayed here for a 4 day getaway. We absolutely loved Camano Island and this home was fantastic. Very nicely redone, bed was comfy, had everything we needed. We spent most of our time at the house having coffee in front of the large window, or on the deck, in awe of the views. Amazing views whether the sun was shining or it was raining. We saw seals swim by and a bald eagle flew right past us 4 separate times. The peace and tranquility here was much needed and we are already trying to book a return trip!

Wonderful getaway
This is the perfect house for a quiet, relaxing weekend on the island. The fenced yard is great for a dog, and there are great places to explore. Very clean. We will definitely come back!

Perfect in every way!
Every detail about this home is perfect, and the view was simply spectacular. From the moment I stepped through the front door I was relaxed and at home. The house was spotless and well-appointed. The bed was very comfortable and the linens and towels high quality. It is very unusual for me to feel immediately comfortable in a new place, but I honestly felt like I was returning to a well-loved retreat. The fenced yard was perfect for my pup and large enough to play fetch. The neighborhood is quiet, and the one neighbor I met, friendly. He called out across the fence line to make sure I saw the whales that were feeding directly in front of the house, and we chatted about the area wildlife and living on Camano Island. While we chatted a bald eagle flew by close enough to even see the details of his feathers. What a treat! I highly recommend this home, and I'd return in a heartbeat! This one is a keeper!!
