My group of high school girlfriends has an annual get together somewhere in Washington. This property on Camano Island was perfect! There were comfy beds, plenty of seating, a well-appointed kitchen, and a deck with a view where we spent most of our time. The house was spotless, and the decor is charming - and so coordinated! Communication was quick and helpful as well. We absolutely loved it! Thank you!

The house was immaculate and had taken into consideration every guests needs! The location was on a lovely beach and there was access to a green area with park type play equipment for the children. It is a perfect spot for friends as well as multi aged families. The only issue would be the ladder type stairs to access the beach. They were sturdy and safe however someone with mobility issues might have a difficult time. The view and deck is fantastic even if you couldn’t manage the ladder!! A wonderful place to stay!!!

This fabulously appointed and well designed home was a delight for our family to stay in for several days. The home is even more spacious than it appears in the pictures. Everything you could possibly need or want is provided. The extra touches were so thoughtful. Kim and Arne have taken great care to host an easy and comfortable experiences. I wish they could come design my home and make it this easy to live in. They are easy to communicate with and very kind. We loved this stay!

Pictures look just like the property. Wonderful home, so many added bonuses past the standard shampoo/conditioner/body wash. Basically everything you would need! And the outdoor space was superb & well kept. Definitely would rent again.

Super clean, loaded with everything you need and easy communication with owner. Loved the location, right on beach. Would recommend this for family gatherings.

This home was very clean and very well stocked, hard to find in a place that also accepts dogs. Kim was quick to respond and accommodating. We would definitely stay again.

Location was excellent right on water. The property was incredibly well appointed and designed and with guests in mind. Great light, modern appliances and fixtures throughout both indoors and outside as well. Owner was very communicative before check in to make sure we got to everything OK and with any guidance. Really enjoyable and will likely be returning this year for a quick easy get away.

We have stayed in several dozen rentals on Whidbey and Camano over the years. It is not hyperbole to say that this was absolutely the cleanest, and best stocked home we have ever been in. The home has been remodeled and is very modern. There are plenty of beds for everyone, and lots of room. Our party had ages ranging from 10- 74. Everyone loved it.
We also had dogs, and it was great to have the fully fenced courtyard for them.
We were unsure about the ladder that is used to access the beach, but the two 70+ year-olds in our party used it with no issues.
The neighborhood parks are great, and there are endless miles of beaches. And if you love to traverse driftwood, there is a lot of it! We used the BBQ, and gas fire pit. The check-in/check-out process, and the instructions were perfect.
Again, there is an exceptionally clean house that is extremely well thought out with every detail. We highly recommend it.

Every guest detail has been addressed in this immaculately kept home: extra bedding for every bed, fully stocked bathroom supples, laundry detergent, a perfectly equipped kitchen, great mattresses, and the list goes on! The location and views across Port Susan are outstanding; and the private courtyard is wonderful for pets. We have stayed at many VRBO rentals, and Gone Coastal is the best of the best!

We spent Thanksgiving at the beach house and had a great time! The view is amazing and the house was wonderful! Kim has thought of everything to make the stay perfect. The kitchen had everything we needed for our holiday. We will for sure be back, would love to stay during the summer next time!

We had a great stay at this property. Our kids (10, 13) had fun combing the beach and our dog (cockapoo) felt right at home too. The windows in the bedrooms have blinds that still let light through but it wasn't a big deal for us. Two beach cruiser bikes were fun to use, but you'll need to bring your own helmets if you want to wear them. Neighborhood is flat and safe and quiet at night. Close to stores and restaurants too. We had fun making apple cider at Arrowhead Ranch. Drove to get coffee and pastries at Camano Island Coffee Roasters each day. Tapped is a great choice for dinner, as is Primal BBQ (same owner...even had family meal takeaway options). We'll be back!

We had a great weekend staying at Gone Coastal. Amazing beach access with nearby parks for the kids made this a perfect way to spend our Canadian thanksgiving with friends.

We had a wonderful time at Camano Island and the house was perfect. The house was well stocked with all the things you would need to cook your own meals. The house was very clean, modern, and comfortable. Beds were great. We really enjoyed the view and using the bikes and paddle boards. Thanks for a memorable trip.

We had an amazing 5 day stay at this property. Can’t beat the location, safe street, no thru traffic, could ride bikes and take strolls without worrying about cars. We took paddles boards out right in front of the house and our own kayaks. Even dropped our own crab pots and got a good haul! Fished right in front of the house as well and had fun catching little fish and releasing them. We did have issues with the eletrical in the kitchen and one bathroom. Owner addressed it right away. The washer stopped working as well but we didn’t need it so wasn’t a bother. All appliances are brand new so might just need some fine tuning. Would absolutely stay here again. Everything was new and lovely.

We liked the peace and quiet and the beautiful view. We reconnected as a family and played the board games and did some paddle boarding. The house is beautiful and well appointed and very organized.

We had a lovely stay in this beautifully appointed home. This is clearly a new property as everything is sparkling new literally from floor to ceiling, and in between. Numerous plush linens, beautiful furniture, new mattresses, fancy plumbing (rain shower head!), top line appliances. Last, we've stayed in VRBOs in many different states and towns, and the standard is always, "We have supplied you with starters of dishwasher and laundry soap, toilet paper....etc." This is the first rental that did not remind you of the limits of owner-provided supplies - one look in their well-labeled and stocked cabinets confirmed that you would not have to run to the IGA to pick up more paper towels. The owners were totally accessible from check in to check out, and always helpful. We hope to be back! Thanks Kim and Arne!

The home and location was situated nicely. Beautiful home with very nice 'beach-themed' decor. Had zero complaints or issues - it honestly felt like home! we had 3 children (5, 7, 12) and 6 adults and had plenty of room and sleeping accomodations.
Consider an aluminum dingy/canoe for the future!
Will come back again!

Gone Coastal is a charming, beautiful cottage! Perfect for the 5 of us to reconnect yet still have space to escape. The views cannot be beat. Quiet neighborhood. All the comforts of home and then some. Kim was quick to respond to our questions, which was appreciated. We could have stayed another week!

Absolutely incredible spot. I could stay there are summer long. The home is well appointed, stocked with all the necessities and more. Meticulously organized, welcoming, comfortable and clean. The layout and location were perfect for our family/friend get away. We will most definitely be back, and for a longer stay. Thank you!!

Lovely home on a quiet beach. Plenty of room for all to relax and enjoy the view, inside and out. Early morning risers loved the sunrise. Nice beach for long walks when the tide is out.

We loved our stay in Gone Coastal and hope to return. The house is bright, airy and very well equipped. The pictures online don’t do Justice to the pretty interior. We caught Dungeness crab and ate out on the deck overlooking the ocean every night. A perfect place to see the sunset. Overall it is a very comfortable and peaceful place to relax and switch off. Thanks Kim!
