Having stayed across multiple hostels throughout India , Gaia has been one of the most welcoming ones so far. The hosts went beyond their means to make sure that our stay was comfortable & fun. Special shoutout to Akhil, Sreejith & Athira.
P.S - If you love food, look no beyond than the hosts cooking it themselves. Best pepper chicken and mango pickle I've had (They plucked the mangoes fresh from their yard)
P.P.S - If you are on a workation and planning to work from there, Ginger (the lab) gives you company. And Athira makes amazing Urrak with Kokum.
Can't wait to go back there. 🥰

The place is really beautiful and it’s one place that is far from home but makes you feel like family as it’s really safe for females and the owners, people who work their and also the guests are super friendly and nice. Had the best time!! Whenever you are going to Goa this place should be their in your bucket list.

The vibe، the generosity and friendliness. The artwork, the layout of gardens, the music and laid back attitude. The staff were amazing, went out of their way to make sure we had a special experience, even surprised us with a birthday cake for my daughter who turned 18! Best time had 🙏
At odd times the shower does not want to wash you!

Good ambiance, but the furniture was not comfortable but ,bed , bedsheet clean and comfortable, air conditioning was good, charges for alcohol drinks high, bathroom where very dirty and suffocation typ ,finally no bill or invoice issued, only on white paper they wrote and gave that to asking for details for the amount paid,on the day of check out no water in bathroom,no staff ,no response to phone call ,this kind service will not bring good name to gaia hostel
Very bad bathrooms,no water on check out morning no responsible person at the property,no response to phone calls made to manger

There was a lot of space to relax and there was a rather communal atmosphere. I liked that the bunk beds had curtains.
My dorm’s bathroom was dirty. The basin didn’t seem like it had been cleaned in a while and the shower plug was clogged.
There are a lot of people staying who are long time residents of the property (a couple of months etc.) More than a few of these guests seemed to be rather addicted to meth.

We saw pics and booked it but it was a terrible mistake
Rooms were smelling so bad even after spraying the room freshner. Pakistani flag is there in the hostel

I like that it has separate dormitory for woman and the staff were very nice and cooperative.
I don't like the road condition in this area.

The rooms were clean and the place has a old world charm. The thing that makes this such a great place to stay are the staff.

The property is very beautiful, amazing staff. Vipul, one of the hosts, showed me some offbeat places to visit around the hostel. The common area is pretty big and well maintained, with good wi-fi connection. Overall the ambience was really good for a vacation/workation. They even have an in-house cafe if you want to have a quick bite. Didn’t feel like I was travelling solo. Also there is very cute dog, Ginger. Just made my day!
The dorms don’t have wi-fi connectivity, and no Airtel coverage either so it gets a little difficult inside the dorm rooms.
